Eclipse still wasn't sure of Grael's 'friend' so he drifted a bit more to the side, so if he saw a chance to leave he'd be able to take it without much trouble. The best thing of his entrances was the fact they all had mazelike twists and turns, so he'd easily be able to slip away if he wanted once he reached one.
Kai watched the big dragon as is spoke with Grael, grateful it's attention had shifted off of him. Kai knew that dragons weren't all like Eclipse when it came to humans.. he figured they had plenty of reasons.. even he wondered why Eclipse decided to befriend humans.

Sa-ar inclined his head to Grael, only slightly, so not to throw off his smooth sailing through the air. The wind whistled through the flight feathers of his gaily coloured wings. He didn't notice the shift in Eclipse right away, but eventually his slitted eyes glanced over at Eclipse. He said nothing nor did he change his expression in any way to to indicate he thought anything of it. His peridot eye then shifted ahead of him.
"A human companion... a novel thought indeed. They are intelligent enough to form language... and they are innovative with their architecture and making of tools to adapt themselves to their surroundings... but they are not equal to that of a dragon. But then, humans sometimes take those among their caste they do not usually view as equal as companions..." He felt it was about time to express his view on humans at long last, as it was plain no one thought on a similar scale as he. "A dragon should have dominion over humans. They should pay tribute, praise, and respect, glorifying their retainer through sacrifice, and he in turn should protect them and the land they dwell on..." Sa-ar's countenance darkened, and his voice turned lower, yet thinner, almost gaining a hiss to his speech... "...and if they betray him, he should bring down his full might upon them and erdicate them for their blasphemy."

Kai raised a brow and was even more glad he met Eclipse before any of the other dragons, "I do respect dragons...but sacrifices are kinda....well barbaric. I did give Eclipse some food he likes as thanks for his help. He sounded calm, but he was getting a bit scared of the big guy and his talking was really nervous rambling..but it sounded normal enough. Kai only had stopped because he felt Eclipse start to growl.
Eclipse let another low growled to somewhat calm Kai, and also announce he disagreed with Sa-ar's view of things. "It's old thoughts like that that made the humes turn against us and wish for our death..." He narrowed his eyes as he slid his gaze over at Sa-ar, the scales at the end of his tail opened slightly.

Ci'nala rested by the eggs, watching the fire carefully. She could hear the chicks' hearts beating and could sense the genders; one boy and one girl. She smiled, then wished she had her own brood to look after. She was content watching these for now.
Tryst'n sat and watched Ci'nala work with the eggs and smiled; she was the perfect mate and will make the perfect mother when they have kids, which he hopes to get working on that soon. He rested his head, then watched Anya carefully.

Silia chuckled a bit. "Salk.... Salkuriatha? My, that's a bit of a mouthful, isn't it?" She looked her over quickly. "Yes, it seems that most of us are, aren't we? At least the few that I know." She filled her bucket and settled it back in place for flight. "I can't stick around too long, but is there anything I can do to help you?"

Anya could feel Tryst'n looking at her, it was a bit disconcerting having something so big watching you like that, "I'll be fine you don't have to stare like that." Anya could feel herself slipping off every time she closed her eyes, she probably should sleep after Silia returned.

"Why should our actions be dictated by what humans will think of us? Do they do they choose their actions based on what the ants will think of them? As a race they have become nothing but an infestation upon the earth that needs to be eraddicated. Everything has a its place. The humans have forgotten theirs and therefore must be destroyed." Grael snarled, her self control finally shattered.
She had had enough with all of these strange dragons with a love for the humans. The humans did not deserve any of this, not after they had taken everything from her. She broke off from the males and began to fly back towards the human settlement. She could go about this differently, she didn't need the help of any dragon that had a love for humans.

Several sparkls flew from Sa-ar's narrow nostrils as he let out a snort at Kai's response. "Barbaric? Humans are not any less barbaric... they were sending sacrifices to some statue before I came to them, and they danced in the blood of their own kind, whooping and singing to a savage cadence. Disgusting rituals. I gave them something real to worship... I do not need the humans, but if they are about, they might as well serve a higher purpose, and the least I could do is protect my territory which they lie in, and protect them as a whole so that they may continue to entertain me." And bring shinies. However, Sa-ar was too dignified to add that last portion.
He listened quietly to Grael's outburst, and watched her fly off. Since she was his main concern he didn't think twice about veering away from Eclipse and his human companion and charging after her. However, he became increasingly aware of yet ANOTHER dragon entering the cavinity and let out a thunderous roar.
~*----------*~
"A mouthful indeed, but long names have been a tradition of my people. My name is stylishly short in comparison..." Salkuriatha responded, lifting up one of her forelegs and spreading her talon apart, inspecting them for a moment before glancing across the river. "I'm not sure where I could begin to ask for your help... I suppose I just need to ask if there is anything on this island I should be aware of? As I said, I'd only just arrived this day. However, if that would take too much time, as you do seem to be in a hurry, that is fine. I'll try and find someone else to answer my questions." If I can get them down from their lofty heights...

Eclipse snorted after both of the dragons left, "Hold your breath Kai, I don't want those two to know of my home quite yet..." he warned, diving toward the water once the two dragons were out of sight..this underwater entrance was guarded and hidden by sharp rocks that had fallen from the cliffs, if one didn't know exactly where to go they'd be badly injured.
Kai took a deep breath just before Eclipse hit the water and held tightly to the dragon's neck as Eclipse twisted through the many caverns. He wondered how Eclipse remembered all the dozens of twists and turns.. Taking a few deep breaths once they surfaced he decided to ask something, "Why don't you hate people like those other dragons? ..not that I'm complaining..."
After walking along the tunnels silently for awhile Eclipse finally answered, "...Grael is younger..while she may have her reasons, she doesn't see the larger picture.. as for the other..he is old and stuck in his line of thought..."
Kai leaned back and crossed his arms, "..that doesn't explain why you don't mind humans...you probably have similar reasons as them....but if you don't wanna say that's fine."

Grael looked back as Sa-ar roared. She knew he wasn't roaring at her but that he was following her. She slowed down enough to accomodate him. She was about to speak when she smelt a new dragon and halted herself. She would have announced her presence, but seeing as Sa-ar had that handle she remained silent.
She had grown tired of consantly announcing her presence to other dragons. They were far too numerous for her to be concerned with any further cordial behavior.

"What can I say; I'm overprotective of people I like," Tryst'n said quietly. Truth was that he was tired and was ready for a nap. "Don't worry miss; I'm just making sure you're okay."
Ci'nala heard the conversation and smiled; that was for sure. She watched the eggs still, then blinked as she saw something in the fire. She shook her head and dismissed it; she was going nuts, or she was tired.

Silia smiled at Salkuriatha as she explained about her name. But her humor was short lived. "Well, there is a dragon or two around here that aren't the most friendly. But I'm fairly certain that as long as you don't start any trouble with them, they're more of an annoyance than a true threat. I think the biggest threat around here are the scientists. Humans that are apparently capturing dragons and holding the prisoner while they do experiments on them. There was a dragon up by my place a while ago who was talking about going after them.... Not all humans are bad, but there are some that are pure monsters." She paused a moment, then tilted her head. "Is there anything else I can do for you?"

"A human who was talking about going after the other humans....? Interesting. They sound divided amongst themselves," Salkuriatha observed. She let out a yawn and lowered her chest until it was pressing into the mud while raising her hind haunches and lifting her tail. Then she rose upon her forelegs, collapsing her hindlegs beneath her into a seated position. "No, nothing else for now. I would not wish to keep you from your important task, Silia."

Eclipse remained silent for awhile longer, "...long ago when I was young, foolish and arrogant, I enjoyed preying on humans and their livestock..until the village I attacked most hired a hunter.. that hunter nearly killed me, but in doing so nearly killed himself. Yet he still tried to attack...he finally wore himself out and lost consciousnesses I chose to heal him in respect of his determination.. once he woke we made a pact.. and I learned more of your kind.."
Kai silently listen to Eclipse's tale, after awhile when Eclipse stopped talking he tilted his head, "Was he the one that gave you the necklace?"
Eclipse snorted, "Do you ever run out of questions? ...no..a different hume gave it to me.... we are nearly at the entrance Aichu and Max should be at yet..."

Silia nodded. "Actually, it was another dragon who was planning on going after the scientists, but yes, I do believe that the humans are divided. Not all of the humans are against us." She nodded as she watched Salkuriatha stretch and resettle herself. "Very well. My den is it that mountain over there," she nodded and pointed with her tail. "If you come up with anything else, feel free to stop by. And by the way, it might not be the safest to sleep out in the open. It might be for the best to find someplace hidden to rest. Good luck on what ever you're planning." With a final smile, she took wing and headed back to her cave.
