Lament_of_the_lonely Mistah's been doing alot around here, perhaps he should be reviewed for a higher position...He's doing a good job, very good.
nah, but mistah would make a pretty good higher up person. not saying this only as a friend, but as a keen observer mrgreen

I purposefully avoid profiles for one extra day every time someone makes a comment, through public forum or PM, to hurry up and check the profiles. The crew are NOT at the beck and call of the members, and when people remark about how they want their customs checked, it just creates frustration and tension. Profiles are the first things that are ever accepted, so this is teaching the lesson early. The profiles will be judged at 12:00 P.M. easter time on December 14th, 2010, assuming no one else tries anything, like PMing me, making more remarks, double posting a profile, trying to persuade another crew member to do it........yknow, stuff.
Besides, no one knows the profile format as well as I do other than lance, and he's busy.

I'm not insulting you or telling you to hurry up. I'm saying its an area that can be improved. And i didn't want to say that because i thought you would be insulted, when i did not mean it in that way. And i did ask Mistah to look at it, but that was for errors. Oh and i did double post, but that was because i had edited again.

Please understand that I am the only one who approves profiles (unless I directly ask someone else, usually lance) because no one understands the profile format as well as I do. Adding more than one person to the profile acceptance will create conflicting profiles, such as the ones on page 1-6 where I was on vacation, which are missing a few things (Not that the person was wrong at the time, seeing as we had just introduced the new profile skeleton. There were just things that were let go that I later added on to.) So no, it is not an area that is in need of improvement.

i have some ideas for rank increase (more specifically, jounin to sannin)
If a jounin completes a certain number of missions, he/she becomes sannin
If a jounin defeats a certain number of people, he/she becomes sannin
If a jounin learns a certain number of s-rank jutsus, he/she becomes sannin
If a jounin has been roelplaying for a certain time, he/she becomes sannin
If a jounin is approved by at least three crew membes, he/she becomes sannin
Now, the jounin doesn't necessarily have to become sannin (seeing as they are the legendary guardians of their villages or something like that) but i believe that jounin should have a way to become S-ranked. can't stay jounin rank all our lives, can we? i'll let you guys decide which requirements are appropriate and what not, but i ask that you at least take the subject into consideration. my character's gotta be super duper huper cuper epic, you know cool

Maybe like having a thing for custom classes people can make, that you accept 1 like every 3 months as a class. I mean stuff like a summoner class or animal partner class. Something to be a little bit more diverse. Such as summoner class can learn at genin and can have like 2 summon types. Or partner class where they get an extra animal to fight with like witht he inzukas also maybe work with the bug clan
Also an issue i kinda had with the custom bloodlines here was if it looked good it was approved. We had it where we let in like 1 new bloodline a month and it was the best one. That pushed people to make it more detailed and better and if they didnt make it you explained why and they improved it and so you have nothing but very good quality bloodlines. Also that custom bloodline thread would be open all the time and you wouldnt get people complaining how it closed for 4 months.

It really feels like nothing is happening a lot of the time. I understand sometimes things really dont get done simply because of those things called "Lives" But it would certainly be nice to know something gets done from time to time. Plus, it would be an easy way to keep track of any changes like fixing or removing jutsus etc. Which aren't big enough for a full out announcement. This isn't an attack on crew activity, I get that you can't be maintaining the guild ALL the time. You have real lives, and like to actually participate from time to time.

If it looks good, it's approved. How is that worse than a system where only one good thing gets let in at a time, and only once a month, and all the rest can just go to hell? We do push for quality, so I don't see your issue.
As for custom classes, or professions as I believe you mean, we had something similar awhile back and nobody went for it. We still have a few professions in the works that just weren't released with the rest, and anyone is free to try and expand upon it as they wish. Just post it here or PM it to Lance.

Most of the time I do the custom bloodline acceptance. Presentation quality does play a bit of a role in acceptance because it shows how much time and planning went into designing the bloodline, but that doesn't mean just because it looks nice it gets the stamp of approval. Decorated s**t is still s**t and will be treated as such. I'm not going to put time restrictions on the acceptance of bloodlines. If it's good and worth being in the guild it will get accepted if not then it won't.

Are you referring to the whole people make up ninja type thing? We had a whole bunch of submissions but no one accepted or declined them. If a thread like that is created in the customs forum I wouldn't mind being the mod for them.

When the crew is ready to release things out to the members we will and anything that is supposed to be announced will be. Things change in the crew thread so many times and we do so many things that keeping up with that thread would only be an annoyance.

Because if the custom bloodlines are closed for like 4 months and I came in like 1 month into it's closing I might have the best bloodline ever. But I can't get it though for at least 3 more month. When johnny came in a month ago with some sub par one that no one really wanted to be apart of but him just cause of good timing. I mean opening it for like 3 weeks and then closing it for 3 months seems a lot worse since if the timing wasn't right then I missed a chance to get a bloodline though cause I might have joined a week to late. Your making it more about timing then a good bloodline. Also if you only add 1 or 2 a month isnts that the equivilent of adding 8 in one month. Also by introducing bloodline 1 at a time, you get people a chance to read and understand them better and know which is best for them. instead of 8 new one popping up at once.
