Thard_Verad E E P S T E R Ukeke MISSION- Fearow of Water A group of Fearow have been harrassing travelers near the Power Plant. To make things worse, they have our emblem on their legbands. Naturally, we're getting blamed for it. Go and stop the Fearow (fight 3-5) and bring back one of the legbands. Pokemon obtainable: Bellsprout Oddish Machop Spearow Rewards: 600-1200 I've got to say, I am extremely pleased with your style of writing. Might be because I use it as well. Maybe it makes it a better read in general? x) Anyways, to the grade. I didn't find much wrong with this mission at all, to be frank. There were only two instances that could possibly be wrong. One was in the Fearow battle in the forest. You used Confuse Ray. Confuse Ray is a ghost type, while Fearow is Flying/Normal. So, the move shouldn't work. At least, I'm fairly sure of that. The other thing is that if you used Mirror Move on Zero himself, wouldn't the copied move hit Zero? Of course, that's following the game mechanics strictly, so I'm not to worried about that. Creative, if anything. Last, on a positive note, is I was simply intrigued that you made the bands on the Fearows' legs metallic mind control bands. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they could be considered braces if thick enough.... But enough of that. Pass. Take 1000 PD (based on defeating four Fearows and deciding not to catch a pokemon). Actually, Confuse Ray DOES work on Normal-types. Certain status category moves are not affected by type immunity. Where Mirror Move is concerned, I can't say I've ever used it in a double battle, much less tried it on my own team. So... although it probably does work as Tommy suspects, I can't say it with 100% certainty. The leg bands... actually aren't mind-control bands. There's a different reason why the Fearow were acting up, as you'll uncover as you continue the storyline. I'm bumping up the prize money to the full 1200 PD because I liked the story. Thank you! Thank you for explaining the leg bands. I wasn't aware, so I just got creative. xd

Quote: How to Become a Mechanic MISSION - Aqua Bike Mishap Those silly newbies and their Aqua Bikes. It seems they went out on a training mission a few weeks ago and completely wrecked their brand new Aqua Bikes. -Sigh- They really need to figure out how to take better care of their things. Anyways, fix 3-5 and we'll give you some more tools to work with. It'll be fun. I promise. They all have different ailments such as slashed tires, melted parted, ect. The more creative, the better the rewards. Rewards: Mechanic Lvl 1: Student + 200-1000 PD After waking up a bit groggily, Nick slowly made his way to the mission board, scratching his hindquarters with a big yawn. Rubbing his eyes, he located the Mechanic Class mission board. “Hmmm…” he almost hummed, running a finger down the list. “Ah. Here we are.” Nick grumbled a bit. “I need to wake up…” Nick fumbled with the Pokéballs in his belt. “Zero… Water gun…” he ordered as he called out his Totodile. “Totodile!” it chanted, spouting a weak stream of water at Nick’s face. “Whoa!” he yelped, fully awake. “Thanks, Zero! Now come on, we’ve got a mission.” He said, heading for the Mechanic shop with a stride in his step. The little Totodile followed, curious as to why they were heading for the Bazaar. “Totodile?” it pointed to the direction of the teleporters. Nick laughed a little, wiping water off his face. “We’re doing a class mission, pal. Mechanic, to be exact!” Zero shrugged and followed him into the Mechanic Shop. “Hello!” he greeted the shopkeeper. “My name is Nick, and I’m here to fix some bikes.” He grinned. “So you want to be a mechanic, huh? Sure thing. Here, you can borrow some o’ my standard tools.” The scruffy mechanic said, reaching under the counter. He took out a small toolbox and handed it to Nick. “Ya might wanna change into a jumpsuit. It can get real messy in there. I might have something in your size. Come on in.” the man opened a door leading towards the garage. Nick followed him without a word. “Y’all can get started over there.” He pointed to a corner with 4 broken bikes. “I’ll be right with you.” The mechanic concluded, shuffling through jumpsuits. “Thank you.” Nick said, heading for the corner. “Alright…” he examined the broken bikes. One had a slashed tire, the other had a destroyed gear, one was split in half (much to Nick’s confusion), a fourth was bent into an unrecognizable shape. “How does this even happen!?” Nick pondered. Setting his tools down, he decided to work on the one with a slashed tire first. “Seems simple enough.” Nick pulled out a wrench from the tool case and adjusted it to the proportions of the nut holding the wheel in place. Carefully leaning the bike against the wall to assure it didn’t fall, Nick removed the actual wheel from the tire rubber. “Hang onto this.” He handed it to Zero, who struggled to carry it. “Toto… Totodile…” it grunted. Locating a spare tire pile near the scrap metal. “Heh heh. With so much metal, I can make myself a hat.” Nick joked, taking a rubber tire. “Hey string bean!” the mechanic called before Nick returned to the workstation. “This is for ya.” He said, tossing him a jumpsuit. “Thanks!” Suddenly, a loud crash came from where Zero was. “Zero?” Nick ran to check on his Pokémon. “Hey! No screwing around!” the mechanic called before leaving to the front again. Zero was buried under broken bikes, but it crawled out relatively unscathed. “Totodile…” it gave a thumbs-up. “Heh heh.” Nick laughed and pet it, then grabbed the wheel. Carefully inserting the tire over the wheel, he poked fun at his silly Totodile. “Silly you.” He teased. Grabbing the wrench from his pocket, Nick returned to the bike. He carefully screwed it back on, and then went for a test drive with it. A single lap around the garage proved it to hold. “One down.” He grinned, sliding into the jumpsuit. It fit him like a glove! “Alright… Now for you…” Nick pulled the bike with a destroyed gear out. “Hmm… Zero, fetch me a gear and a nut. I think this one is gonna take a bit of force.” Nick said, noticing the nut was bolted in forcefully by a bad repairman. “I need your help, Ecto.” Nick called out his Duskull. “Dusk?” it asked curiously upon being summoned. “Use Thief on that nut, please.” He asked kindly. Ecto nodded, then went intangible, taking the nut from the bike with ease. As he did so, the gear fell to the ground. Ecto happily handed the nut to Nick. “Thanks, Ecto!” he said, tossing it to the scrap pile. Zero came back holding a gear and a chestnut. “Thank you, Zero… But uhh… Where did you get the chestnut?” Zero pointed to a bin labeled ‘Chestnuts’ near the back of the room. “Well then.” Nick blinked. “Thank you, but not what I was looking for. I need a nut.” He pointed at the one on the bike he had just fixed. Taking the gear and chestnut, Nick placed the chestnut on a bench. He then grabbed his wrench and cracked it open. “Want some nutmeat?” he asked Ecto. It shook its head. “More for me.” He ate it, and readied his wrench for further use. Zero came back holding an actual nut this time. “Thank you.” Nick repeated, patting its head. He took it from its claws and slid the gear into the pole. Afterwards, he screwed it back in carefully. “Hmmm…” Nick said. “Let’s test this.” He got on it and made another lap around the garage. “Handles like a dream.” Nick wheeled it over to the ‘Done’ pile. “What’s next?” he observed the bike split in half and the horribly disfigured bike. “Errm… I think that one is out of my level for now.” He sighed, taking the two halves. “Hmm.” Nick played with it for a second. “RNA, Buddy! Come on out!” Nick tossed two Poké Balls, the mean Ditto and relaxed Oddish appeared. “Help Zero and Ecto hold the bike in place.” Nick asked as he grabbed the miniature-welding torch. He was unsure of how to handle it, so he gripped it awkwardly. “Err…” Nick said. Accidentally, he hit the starter, which caused a strong flame to spit out. It fell on the floor, where it ignited a broken rubber tire pile. “Aah!” Nick yelped. “Quick, help me put it out before the owner notices!” Nick yelled, fanning it with a towel. “Totodile!” Zero cried, showering it with a Water Gun. The fire subsided, and Nick sighed heavily. He sniffed for a second and noticed the disgusting scent of burning rubber. “Ew…” he complained. “He’s sure to notice now! Open a window!” Nick ordered. Ecto quickly flew towards a window, opening it. “Now let’s get rid of the smell!” he pressured, fearing the mechanic would burst in. Buddy coolly shook its head, pollen flying everywhere. The room suddenly smelled pleasant. Its Aromatherapy was working! The scent of Roselias caught the Mechanic’s nose. “Eh?” he sniffed, opening the door to the back. “Son, what in the hell are you doing back here? Why does it smell like darn petunias and flowers?” he asked in a mildly irritated yet amused tone. “Uh… Well, you see… Pleasant scents… Are uh… Good for… Um… Morale?” Nick fumbled to find an excuse. “Morale? That’s a great concept, son! I think I might just get myself a Roserade so I can smell it when I work!” the Mechanic laughed. “And remember… No screwing around!” he said before shutting the door again. “… That was close…” Nick sighed in relief. The smell was calming him down, but they still had work to do. “Let’s never use the welding torch again.” He said, taking it and putting in a far off corner of the room. “Alright guys, try holding it together again. Except you, Ecto. Use Will O Wisp on the broken segments.” Nick commanded, helping his Pokémon hold the bike close together. “Duskull…” it cried, spitting flames at the two separate ends. The fire burned dully for a second before putting itself out. “Hmm. If only I had a fire type…” Nick sighed, letting go of the bike. As he paced about, awaiting inspiration, he grabbed Hobbe’s Pokéball. “Hmm?” Nick said, almost forgetting about the cute little Joltik. “Come on out, little guy. Maybe you have an idea.” He called out his adorable little spider. “Jol tik tik!” it cheered, jumping over to the corner of the room. “Guess not.” Nick said, leaving that bike for later. He turned his attention to the mangled one. “Now how did this happen?” he asked his Pokémon. Nick tapped it with the wrench a few times. “Heh. Maybe if I hit enough it will turn into a Level 2 Bike.” He joked to himself. “Hmm. I don’t know where to start with this one.” Nick sighed, pulling at it. Very disappointed with himself, Nick sulked down. RNA, Ecto, Zero, and Buddy surrounded him, attempting to cheer him up. “Thanks, guys…” he smiled happily, embracing his team. He let go after a second and looked up at Hobbes. It was spinning a web, which was strong enough to hold up a… bike?! Apparently, the Joltik had fancied the bike and tried taking it up to its spider web. “Hobbes!” Nick called. “Joltik?” it asked, dropping the bike. It feared it had done something wrong. “Hobbes, come here!” he ordered, getting up. The Joltik spat a web at the roof and swung at Nick Tarzan style. It landed on his shoulder, and Nick smiled at it. “Hobbes, I have an idea.” He walked towards the bicycle split in two and signaled for his Pokémon to hold it slightly close together. “Use Spider Web on the broken part, please.” Nick asked. “When Hobbes starts spitting web, I want you guys to gently push it together.” He ordered his other Pokémon. The spider Pokémon turned its back after aiming and began firing thick, sticky webbing at the broken bike. “Tik tik!” it cried, spinning web. The rest of Nick’s team pushed the bike together. “Great job, team.” He congratulated everyone, testing the bike’s resistance. He sat on top of it, and was shocked to discover it didn’t collapse. “That is some webbing you’ve got there, Hobbes.” Nick laughed, riding the bike around a little before stationing it in the ‘Done’ pile. “And now, for this.” Nick and his team’s attention turned to the warped bike. “Any ideas?” he asked. Nick was met with blank expressions. “I can try to think of something…” he started, thinking. Nick thought all the way back to when Kurt had just began teaching him about metal to make Poké Balls. Suddenly, he had an idea. “Aha!” Nick exclaimed, startling his Pokémon. “Metal is malleable when it’s hot! So if we could heat it up just enough, we can move it to the proper shape, then cool it down very fast, it will stay in the proper position!” Nick explained to his Pokémon. “But first, we need to remove anything that melts or lights on fire from it.” Nick said. “Ecto, can you use Thief on the handles and tires while I detach the pedals and seat?” he asked, starting to remove the left pedal. “Duskull…” it agreed, taking the handles in his usual fashion. After removing the seat, Nick flipped the bike over to remove the right pedal. After both he and Duskull were done, Buddy and RNA moved it away the pieces. “Now… Ecto, RNA, Hobbes, and Zero. I’ll need you to help me out.” Nick said, carrying the bike to a hanger designed for welding things onto bikes. “Ecto, I need you to use Will O Wisp on the bike at full power and as often as possible. RNA, transform into Ecto and do the same.” Nick told the two. “As for you, Hobbes.” He turned to face it. “Keep hitting the bike with Thunder Wave. It will heat it up as well.” The Joltik nodded happily, jumping off his shoulder. “And you’ve got the biggest job of them all, Zero.” He turned to his Totodile. “I want you to keep Scalding the bike until I say stop. I will then untwist it while it’s hot. Immediately after, I want you to cool it down with Water Gun.” Nick ordered. “Does everyone understand what he will be doing?” he asked, grabbing the heat gloves from the shelf nearby. All his Pokémon nodded and proceeded to ready themselves. “On my mark.” Nick said, readying himself. Buddy looked on, cheering his friends on. “Go!” he ordered. Shortly afterwards, the bike became engulfed in fire, electricity, and boiling water. It was difficult to see, but Nick kept an eye on the metal of the bike. The angle of which it was bent was difficult and contributed to the near impossibility of keeping a clear status on the bike. Noticing a faint red glow emanating from the bike, Nick bit his lip. “Just a little more!” he said, readying himself to go in. The glow got brighter until it became incredibly bright. “Stop!” he exclaimed. Nick charged at the heated metal and grasped it through the heat gloves. Even through it, he felt the heat of it. Struggling to twist it back to its original frame, Nick let out a grunt of annoyance. The heat was starting to seep through the gloves as he finally made the front of the bike face its original direction. “Augh!” he yelled, struggling and in pain. “Quick, Zero! Hit it with Water Gun before it starts sagging!” he ordered, not letting go of the bike. “Totodile!” Zero responded, spouting water at the bike. Nick backed away, watching the red-hot metal go back to its original state. The color was burned off, but the bike was fixed. “…” he panted, taking off the gloves. “We did it!” Nick exclaimed. All his Pokémon cheered and huddled around him and leaped around, celebrating. “You all did great, guys!” Nick continued, starting to take off the jumpsuit. He removed it quickly and put it away, putting away the borrowed tools and picking up the case. “Come on, guys. Let’s go home.” He grinned, heading through the door.

MISSION - Get the Contest Pass!
Fantina is the only known person in the entire world who is giving away a contest pass. This chance doesn't come around very often, so when it does, it should be taken advantage of. But she isn't giving it to just anyone. You're going to have to prove yourself in a contest against Fantina. Just don't expect to win.
Objectives: - Get the Contest Pass by convincing Fantina you can be beautiful.
Rewards: - Contest Pass - Coordinator Lvl 1: Participant, 750 PD
It was a beyond beautiful day in Sinnoh as Itaku peddled to Hearthome on his aqua bike. The sun was shining, the Tailow were chirping, and Hoppip could be seen gently swaying in the breeze. All of Itaku's pokemon were out in good form. Blaze was trotting close on the teens right side. Crest Frostine and Marrow were all fighting to sit in the basket of the bike....truth be told it was incredibly irritating but Itaku was just to happy with the weather to care. Tai was running on the left side of the bike the little fighting pokemon considered this to be a great workout. Ghoul was sitting on the back of the bike watching the clouds drift away, he was changing the clouds shapes with his Psychic easily amusing himself. It was a long semi peaceful bike ride when Itaku and his pokemon reached Hearthome city. The city was a beautiful and quaint little town with two noticeable buildings. One appeared to be a Gym and the other was a fantastic contest hall. Itaku knew Fantina was first and foremost a gym leader so he figured the gym would be a good place to start. Itaku returned his pokemon and trotted off to the gym, hoping to find a good lead.
Itaku pushed open the doors to the gym only to find out that the gym was pitch black on the inside. Next to the door was a flashlight. The teen grabbed the flashlight and began to explore in the dark. He continued walking until he hit a door, he flashed the light on the door and it appeared to have tiles. "What in the world....am I really going to need to solve a puzzle to find this lady....." Itaku quickly turned back around and began running to the entrance. He was stopped abruptly by a man who jumped from the shadows the flashlight illuminating his face making him look the utmost of creepy.... Normal people would have been terrified, however Itaku was from Lavender town and this stuff amused him. He began laughing at the man who suddenly became saddened. "I guess I didn't scare you.....what are you doing here? The Gym was supposed to be closed... Let's talk more outside it's to dark in here. With that Itaku and the strange man exited the gym.
"Let me introduce myself I am Frederico Fantina's father, they don't let me out of the house much because I like to scare away possibly gym challengers....they call me crazy....I'm just an old man looking for fun. You are a gym challenger??" Frederico was laughing and I was beginning to like the old man. "Well my name is Itaku Obichi and I came to challenge Fantina for a contest pass." The old mans eyes widened significantly as if this came as a huge surprise. "You want to do contests...don't get me wrong sonny you don't exactly scream.... "beautiful". " Did that old man just call me ugly...he couldn't have....he definitely did. Itaku tried to hide his annoyance and forced a smile. "Your just...the sweetest old man. Tell you what take me to your daughter and we will see who can be beautiful.... " The old man chuckled he clearly liked to test people's nerves. "Well Itaku I will take you to Fantina and I'm going to laugh when she wipes the floor with you..." With that Itaku and this old man....whom he wanted to hurt....traveled to the contest hall where Fantina was supposed to be.
Within minutes Itaku and Frederico made it to where Fantina was. It seems she was fixing up the contest hall for the next contest. She was wearing an elegant purple gown....with way to many sparkles. Frederico approached her and whispered something in her ear, she twirled around and began to eye Itaku. " Oh boy you aren't elegant at all, you want to compete in contests...tell you what cherie. If you can beat moi I will give you the contest pass. However if you lose you are forbidden from ever competing in a contest battle ever again!!!!" Her words were as sharp as a knife and Itaku quickly began to feel the pressure but he wasn't about to this hag see that...He swallowed his nerves and confidently stepped up to the stage. "Well then you old hag, let's see what you got. " Fantina stepped onto the stage and started to chuckle. " Seems you got some guts kid, and I'll have you know cherie that I look quite wonderful for my age. Well then let's waste no more time then. It will be a double appeal battle, with five minutes on the clock. My father will determine the points, seems like nothing is going in your favor today doesn't it." Fantina chuckled and tossed to pokeballs onto the stage, revealing a Haunter and Misdreavus. Itaku was beginning to panic he had never done a double appeal....he reached into his pack and out popped Frostine and Marrow his Smoochum and Cubone. "What cute little pokemon, definitely cuter then you boy. Let the battle begin!!!!!"
" I shall begin the battle most elegantly. Haunter start off with a Shadow Ball, Misdreavus use Will O Wisp!!!!" The Haunter fired the blob of shadowy energy will Misdreavus made the ghostly flames surround the ball giving it the appearance of an atom. The blob was traveling quick leaving a ghostly flame trail in it's wake. " Don't let that scare you guys!!!! You two want to be the strongest and the best don't let this stop you!!!! Marrow quickly use Bonemerang and Frostine use Psychic on the bone but make it sharp!!!!!" Marrow quickly threw it's bone horizontally towards the blob . Frostine's eyes glowed with a beautiful and majestic blue light. The light engulfed the bone and made it pulse with energy, Frostine concentrated the energy and it began to vibrate on a high pitched frequency. The bone and blob collided, the Psychic Bonemerang cut the Shadowy flames in half, causing the flames and shadows to fall beautiful around Frostine and Marrow. Fantina was taking aghast, her own technique was used against her. Cubone's bone returned to his hand. She smiled and clapped her hands. "Not bad boy, let's see a combination of yours!!!"
Itaku was smiling brightly as it seemed he earned some of the gym leader's respect. " Okay guy's now this one is going to be quite the dozy. Marrow use Bonemerang, Frostine follow that up with an Icy Wind!!!" The bone once again flew but this time it was coated in the Icy Wind leaving a blue trail in it's wake. The icy wind was extreme to say the least it blinded the entire field, all that could be seen was the bone flying through. At the last moment, before making contact with the two Ghost pokemon the bone flew up in the air. "What is this, is that Smoochum using Psychic from the other side of the field!!!! Haunter use Shadow Ball cut through this Ice!!!!" The Shadow ball flew through through the ice and connected....with Cubone, knocking the pokemon out. The Icy Wind suddenly stopped and from the sky flew Smoochum with Cubone's bone in it's hand. The bone was coated with both Icy Wind and Psychic leaving a brilliant trail of sparkles in it's wake. The bone connected smacking Misdreavus in the hand, the pokemon was knocked out from the powerful combination, Smoochum quickly jumped back to Itaku's side of the field. "My beautiful Misdreavus what just happened!!!!!! Please do explain that combination it was Tre Magnifique!!!!!"
Itaku was laughing it seems this one would require an explanation. " Well first off...no Icy Wind should ever be that powerful thus I had both Marrow and Frostine use Icy Wind. After Marrow threw his bone that is when he used Icy Wind which caused a blizzard like effect when combined with Frostine's. Frostine however created a stable ground atop the bone with Psychic...cloaked with the blizzard he was able to get above your pokemon while Marrow continued the Icy Wind which is why you were finally able to see the Psychic. You fired the Shadow Ball to attempt and knock out Frostine however you got Marrow instead. That's when Frostine released the Psychic and hit your Misdreavus with the Icy Bonemerang....I guess it worked!!!" Itaku smiled confidently completely unaware there was 5 seconds left in the battle. "Haunter Shadow Punch!!!!"
A quick punch flew from the shadows and connected with Smoochum knocking her out as well. " Well boy you are definitely learning contest etiquette but never forget about the time limit." Fantina was laughing as the battle ended and both trainers returned their pokemon.
Itaku was feeling quite bummed after the battle he thought for sure he had it won. He now had to give up his contest dream forever.. " My pokemon must hate having a failure of a trainer like me...." Itaku began to walk away from the contest hall when Fantina called out to him. " Boy come back here, I haven't even gotten the name of the next top coordinator of Hoenn." Itaku turned around to see Fantina holding a contest pass in her hands. Itaku was stuttering as he spoke his name. "I-I-Itaku Obichi....but why I lost. Our deal was if I lost I had to quit forever!" Fantina chuckled and gave a wink. "Your proved to me you can be beautiful, your like an ugly duckling cherie. I want to see if you will ever become the White Swan." Itaku was speechless and took the contest pass from Fantina. He thanked both her and Frederico who was laughing in the stands. With that he was off and running back to the Aqua base. He was halfway home when he realized something..." FANTINA CALLED ME UGLY TO!!!!!!!!!"

(It was a bit hard to get this mission to be a long one.) MISSION- Fossil Fraud
It seems there's someone in the Johto region selling fake pokemon fossils. From his description, it sounds like he's a Legendary Brilliance Gang peon. Track him down and put a stop to his scam. (You will face one LBG peon with 2 fossil pokemon)
Pokemon: None Rewards: 800 Item: One fossil of your choice ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rex appeared on the Beach outside of HQ. “Go Heracross!” He threw the Poke ball in the air and Heracross floated down. “Well, time to go.” Rex said. Heracross grabbed onto Rex and took off towards Johto. The sea and sky were beautiful. He smelt and felt the sea breeze in the air. It was about a half hour before he reached Johto. He arrived in Blackthorn City. He and Heracross landed right outside the Pokemon Center. “Ok Heracross, thanks, return.” His Pokemon was sent back into the Poke ball. “Now I’m going to find that fake fossil trader.” Rex said. The best and only info he had was that they were operating in Blackthorn City. Well, time to get started.
He began walking around the city looking for any sign of the Fossil Trader. He walked up and down the streets multiple times, he even checked the local flower shop, which by the way, smelt awesome. “Let’s get some air support.” Rex said. “Go Heracross and Corphish!” The two Pokemon appeared in front of him. “Okay guys, we got to find this guy, so Heracross, take Corphish into the sky with you and look all around Blackthorn City.” Rex commanded. “The guy will be wearing a Legendary Brilliance Gang uniform, he shouldn’t be hard to find.” Rex let them be on their way. As they left he realize how tired he was, so he decided to go to a diner where he could keep an eye out.
He ordered a pie and coffee. He drained the cup of coffee and demolished the pie within five minutes, he was hungry. On the opposite side of the street was a library, where a guy with an odd uniform seemed to be selling something. “Look who I found.” Rex smiled. He waited for his Pokemon to come back. Luckily by the time they did come back, the guy was still there. He recalled both of his Pokemon and then went over to the guy. “I see you’ve been selling some fake fossils, am I right?” Rex asked.
The guy cringed at Rex’s remark. “Maybe I am what are you going to do about it?” The LBG peon asked.
“This.” Rex sent out Aron and Cyndaquil. “Your luck just ran out.” Rex smiled.
BATTLE START!
“Ergh, go Omanyte and Lileep!” the Peon cried out.
“Ok Aron use Metal Claw on Omanyte!” Rex commanded. “And Cyndaquil, use Flamethrower on Lileep!”
The Metal Claw hit Omanyte right on its shell, making a small dent. While the Flamethrower missed Lileep by inches.
“Ergh, I am not in the best situation.” The Peon sighed. “Lileep, Energy Ball on Aron, Omanyte Water Gun on Cyndaquil!”
Both attacks knocked back Rex’s Pokemon, all though, Aron recovered from the damage faster than Cyndaquil.
“All right Aron use Iron Head and Cyndaquil use another Flamethrower, on the same targets!” Rex commanded.
Omanyte got thrown from the Iron Head, which landed a Critical Hit, while the Flamethrower consumed Lileep.
Lileep fainted, a little dramatically. “Ergh, return.” He put Lileep back in its ball.
“I’ll even be a little fair.” Rex taunted. “Return Cyndaquil.”
“You think I’m weak huh?” The LBG Peon asked. “Look more closely at Omanyte.”
Rex took a better look at the changing form of Omanyte. “It’s evolving…” Rex took a step back.
The evolved dinosaur Pokemon appeared.
Dex Entry:
Omastar
Spiral Pokemon
It is thought that this Pokemon became extinct because its spiral shell grew too large.
Dex Closed.
“Oh this should be fun.” Rex sighed. “Aron, Iron Head!”
Aron charged the newly evolved Omastar, who stopped it with its tentacles.
“Ar?” Aron looked up, surprised. Omastar pushed back Aron with enough force to faint it. “Ar….on….” Aron slumped to the ground.
“Return.” Rex recalled his Pokemon. “Time for my A game then, GO TREECKO!”
Treecko appeared in front of the Omastar.
“Use Giga Drain!” Rex commanded, this attack would be double-super effective, considering Master’s types, plus Giga Drain is already a strong move.
The attack hit on target. Omastar began panting heavily. “Hydro Pump!” The LBG Peon commanded.
Treecko got hit directly but was able to take the hit. “Ok Treecko another Giga Drain should finish the job.”
Treecko absorbed more energy from Omastar, causing it to faint.
Battle ended.
“Ergh, you haven’t heard the last of me.” He ran off, returning his Pokemon and dropping something at the same time.
“What do we have here?” Rex picked up the rock. “A Cover Fossil?” Rex was considering it was fake, so he got out his TADS. The TADS scanned the fossil and confirmed it was real. “Well I guess I’m going to have a new team member soon.” Rex smiled. He sent out Heracross who grabbed Rex and headed back to HQ.

Quote: MISSION- Fossil Fraud It seems there's someone in the Johto region selling fake pokemon fossils. From his description, it sounds like he's a Legendary Brilliance Gang peon. Track him down and put a stop to his scam. (You will face one LBG peon with 2 fossil pokemon) Pokemon: None Rewards: 800 Item: One fossil of your choice After grabbing breakfast, Nick headed out to Johto. He had heard rumors of someone selling fossils there. Maybe he could use it on today’s special mission! He stepped out into the Ruins of Alph. Nick had come here a lot as a child, and he knew people were constantly discovering fossils there, so he had high hopes for this. Looking around, he noticed there was a small crowd of people surrounding a man with Pokémon. “Come one, come all!” he chanted. This caught Nick’s attention, and he approached. “Have your very own fossil Pokémon! From the cool Kabuto…” he pointed to his left where the Pokémon he had named stood mysteriously. “… To the hard-headed Cranidos!” the Pokémon slammed its head on the floor. “Ooh. That’s cool!” Nick grinned. The crowd very much agreed, a wave of “Ooohs” and “Aaaahs” swept his ears. “Want to know how you can have your very own prehistoric Pokémon?” the fish salesman continued. Everyone was captivated by his offer. “At the low-low price of 800 PD, you can have your pick between Ominit, Kabutwo, Lilweep, Anorat, Cramidowse, Shieldown, Tortugas, or Archer!” the man. Nick blinked. Those names sounded awfully weird to him, but maybe it was an odd accent. “Uhh…” Nick said, wondering if anyone else noticed. The crowd rushed him, toting 800 PD in their hands. “One at a time!” the man laughed, taking money and handing out fossils. Nick made the line, curious. His turn eventually came, and Nick had the 800 PD ready. “So what do you want, young man?” the man asked. Nick looked at him oddly. “I want a Cranidos.” He said. “Cranidos? I think you mean a Cramidowse, son!” he laughed, grabbing a rock from a crate behind him. “800 PD, please!” the man snatched the money from Nick, to which Nick didn’t react kindly to. “That was rude…” he started. Before he could tell him more, the man moved Nick along and continued taking money. “That was weird.” He said, and headed for the Alph Research Center. He opened the door and greeted everyone. “Hello!” Nick said, walking in. “May I see your fossil expert?” he asked. “Oh, he’s right over there.” A scientist answered, pointing to a man in the corner of the room. There was also a mob of people who sounded upset near him. Nick approached him as he tried calming them down. “People, people! Please relax! I am trying as hard as I can, but I just cannot find factual fossils for what you are presenting me!” he pleaded with the crowd. “What?” Nick asked, taking a step closer. “You are presenting me with fake fossils!” the Scientist turned to face him. “Fake fossils?” Nick said. He walked away, very upset. “Excuse me, may I use your phone?” he asked the receptionist at the front of the Research Center. She nodded, and Nick took the phone for a second. He called the Violet City Police center. Officer Jenny picked up on the other line. “Hello, Violet City Police Center, how can I help you?” she asked in a pleasant tone. “Hello, Officer Jenny. This is Nick Harris calling from the Ruins of Alph Research Center. A man selling false Pokémon fossils has scammed me, alongside other people.” He informed her. “Thank you very much for your call. I am on my way right now.” She said, hanging up. Nick returned the phone and thanked the receptionist. Feeling like a good citizen, he approached the man selling fossils again. “Stop buying his fossils! They’re fake!” he yelled. The man did not like this, and he stopped talking. People talked and whispered in hushed voices, confused. “Excuse me, young man. But I do believe you are incorrect. I sell only the finest quality fossils.” He said, Kabuto and Cranidos starting to approach Nick threateningly. “As a matter of fact, folks… Watch the power of fossil Pokémon!” the man said, trying to stay in control of the situation. “If you say so.” Nick took the challenge, tossing out Buddy and Zero. “Zero, Aqua Jet! Buddy, Absorb!” Nick ordered. “Kabuto, use Scratch and Cranidos use Headbutt!” the man commanded. Zero’s attack collided with Cranidos, who take a lot of damage from the attack. However, Cranidos did not flinch and rammed into Zero, who took plenty of damage as well. “Totodile…” it moaned. Kabuto attacked Zero with an Absorb attack, and Buddy attacked Kabuto with an Absorb as well. The super-effective attack with STAB power knocked it out. “Ha!” Nick mocked. A look of anger crossed the man’s face. Suddenly, an officer siren was heard behind them. “Alright, what’s going on?” Officer Jenny asked, approaching the battling trainers. “Officer Jenny, this man is scamming people!” Nick pointed at the man. “Me? No, I sell Ominit, Kabutwo, Lilweep, Anorat, Cramidowse, Shieldown, Tortugas, and Archer fossils.” He answered. Officer Jenny was taken aback by this, noticing the wrong names. “And now he is claiming I sell false Pokémon fossils! He’s hurting my business!” the man continued. Officer Jenny grabbed Nick’s arm and pulled him away. “Hey, what is this?!” Nick asked, his Pokémon following him. “Listen, you.” She said after dragging him to her cop car. “I know he’s selling false fossils. He’s been at it for months. But I can’t legally arrest him, because he’s not claiming to sell real fossils. You noticed how he said the Pokémon’s names incorrectly?” she asked. Nick nodded silently. “However, I am afraid I have to ask you to not come near him. The law is on his side for the time being.” Officer Jenny said. Nick looked down. “However, if you were to challenge him while I was not on duty, I am afraid I cannot do anything about it.” She lifted his chin up so she could see his eyes. She winked at him. Nick blinked twice, catching on. “When are you off-duty, Officer Jenny?” Nick asked her. “In a few minutes.” She said, getting into her car. “In the meantime, stay out of trouble, citizen!” she grinned, driving away. Nick recalled his Pokémon and sighed deeply, silently making his way around the man who continued to scam people. “I’ll teach you to scam me.” He said, anger boiling inside of him. As time ticked to the hour, Nick grinned. It was time. “Hello, sir. It appears we have business left to settle.” Nick said, approaching the man again. “Alright, you. I’ve had enough of this.” He said. “Let’s finish this right here, right now.” He reached into his pockets and tossed out two Poké Balls. Kabuto and Cranidos took a few steps back, making way for the Lileep and Shieldon who took the battlefield. “Finally!” Nick grinned. “Go, Ecto and Zero!” he ordered. Totodile and Duskull emerged from their Poké Balls. “Zero, Aqua Jet on the Shieldon! Ecto, use Confuse Ray on the Lileep!” Nick ordered. “Lileep, use Ingrain! Shieldon, Iron Defense!” the man roared. Customers backed off nervously, but observed the battle. Lileep stuck her roots in the ground, and Shieldon stiffened itself to boost its defense. Zero’s attack hardly fazed him, but the Confuse Ray was sure to affect him later. “Good job guys! Now Zero, use Ice Fang on Lileep and Ecto use Will O Wisp on Shieldon!” Nick ordered. Zero bit down on Lileep using the power of Ice, which did great harm to it. “Lileep!” it cried. Ecto flicked an orb of fire at the confused Shieldon, burning it. “Shieldon, use Tackle and Lileep, use Rock Tomb!” the man ordered. The Shieldon attempted to use Tackle, but instead bit its own foot, hurting itself. “Lileep!” the grass type cried, launching rocks at Zero. “Totodile!” it cried, getting hit. The attack slowed it down by a small margin. Lileep drained nutrients from the ground, healing itself back up to green health, while Shieldon suffered from its burn. “Ecto, Hex Shieldon! Zero, use Bite on Lileep!” he ordered. A bit slowly, Zero bit down on Lileep, causing it to flinch. The Lileep would not last much longer in the battle. “Duskull!” cried Ecto, placing a Hex on Shieldon. The attack did a lot of damage, due to its effect. “Shieldon, stop standing around and use Take Down!” the man ordered. The Pokémon snapped out of confusion and ran at Zero, causing it to take plenty of damage. However, Shieldon took damage himself, and even more from its burn. “To.. To… Totodile…” Zero fainted. “Good job, Zero! Go, Buddy!” Nick said, recalling Zero and tossing out Oddish. “Use Acid, Lileep” the man said, taking advantage of Nick’s change of Pokémon. Lileep spat poisonous goo at both Ecto and Buddy. Ecto took a critical hit, putting it at half health. “Ecto, use Night Shade!” Nick commanded. Ecto attacked Lileep, causing it to faint. “Looks like your roots cant save you now.” He mocked the Pokémon. “Now Buddy, use Mega Drain!” Nick ordered. The Shieldon lost HP to Buddy’s attack; it was barely able to hang on. “Take him down with you, Shieldon. Double Edge!” the man ordered. “Shiel… DON!” it charged, ramming into Buddy. A critical hit! “Odd… Oddish…” it cried as it fainted. Shieldon suffered lots of damage on his side, but it was the burn that sealed the deal. “Shield…” it lamented while collapsing. “Great job, Buddy.” Nick recalled his Pokémon and approached the man; who was frantically attempting to stash the false fossils and make a run for it. “Don’t you run away!” Nick yelled, tackling him down. His shirt snagged on the crate containing fake fossils and tore, revealing A Team Legendary Brilliance tattoo. Nick spotted it and blinked. There was a bulletin in the Team Aqua building dedicated to enemy teams, and this was among the higher ranking ones. “You’re a Team Legendary Brilliance Grunt!” Nick yelled, getting off of him. The crowd gasped, and many clamored against him. “And you’re a Team Aqua Grunt.” He said, shoving Nick off of him. “You’re lucky my Pokémon are too weak to take you out. But you’ll see, we’ll get you some day. As for me…” the Grunt said, reaching into his pocket. He pulled out a small black orb, and tossed it on the floor. “Augh!” Nick cried, shielding himself. The crowd panicked as a cloud of darkness was unleashed upon them. He tackled the spot where the Grunt once stood, only to find nothing. “…” Nick said, looking around. He spotted an odd rock on the floor and a wad of 800 PD. “Huh.” He said, confused. “Why would he do that?” Nick whispered, as the crowd went into a panic calling Officer Jenny. Knowing he might be arrested, Nick hightailed it over to the teleporter and back to the base after picking up the rock embedded with a cranium and the cash.

Quote: How to Become a Nurse Medic Mission: A Nurse Medic and her his Happiny Every nurse needs a Happiny that will follow them and serve their every whim when it comes to medical needs. This Happiny will grow with the nurse as they become closer and better in the profession of nursing. Objectives: - Go find a Happiny and bond with it creatively. - Fight and capture the Happiny Rewards: - Nurse Rank lvl 1: First-aid Responder + 500 PD After finally becoming a Mechanic, Nick began preparing for phase 2 of his plan to become the perfect support. “A Nurse and her Happiny?” he asked incredulously at the title of the mission. Looking around for anyone who might be observing him. Realizing no one was watching, Nick reached into his pocket and changed the title of the mission to ‘A Medic/Nurse and his/her Happiny.’ He snickered a little, heading for the Sinnoh Teleporter. “Backlot… Backlot… Aha!” Nick exclaimed, finding the accurate teleporter. “I sure hope he’s got these little ladies in his yard today. I’ll be out of luck if they aren’t there.” He continued, stepping through. After wandering about for a little, Nick spotted the huge mansion in the distance. “Wow. How lavish…” Nick noted. “I want some company. Come on out, Zero.” He called out his Pokémon. “Totodile!” it cheered. “Heh. Come on pal. We’re headed to that crazy mansion over there.” He pointed it out to Zero. “Totodile?” it asked, curious as to why. “Well you see, we need to catch a Happiny. Every Medic needs one.” Nick continued to walk and talk. Zero nodded as they continued to walk in silence. As the mansion drew closer, the louder the noise coming from the mansion became. “What’s with all the ruckus?” Nick asked curiously, starting to run towards it. “Totodile!” Zero cried, running after his master. “Catch it! Catch it!” a cry came from the upper levels of the mansion. Nick ran inside and managed to catch the attention of a maid who was dashing by. “Excuse me!” he called. “I’m sorry, but we are having a bit of a situation now.” She bowed an apology and attempted to keep running. “What’s the matter?” Nick called after her. She stopped, knowing she wouldn’t get anywhere as long as he didn’t get answers. “Master Backlot went out to stroll in his garden as usual, and encountered a Happiny. However, he stepped on it, which caused it to become infuriated. So it chased him into the house and started throwing a tantrum. None of the Maids who own Pokémon are on staff right now, and we’ve been trying to catch it with pots and things of the like.” Nick listened and thought for a second. “I’m a trainer. I can help you take care of the little feisty one.” He offered. Zero jumped up and down excitedly. “Really?” she asked, sighing in relief. “Of course. Besides, I’ve been looking to catch a Happiny anyway.” Nick laughed a little. A loud crash came from upstairs. “HELP!” a man’s voice exclaimed, while a Maid’s shriek was heard. “Uh oh…” both Nick and the Maid downstairs said. “Follow me, please!” she urged, running up the stairs. Rushing behind her, Nick wondered why this Happiny was so violent? Weren’t they healing Pokémon? “Ha… PINY!” a sharp cry rang out. Another loud crash erupted. “No! That was a Zaphelvob Vintage!” Mr. Backlot’s voice lamented. Nick and the maid stepped over a broken vase, and spotted the little Pokémon throwing a fit. Tears streamed down her face. Mr. Backlot struggled to stand up and run. “Out of my way!” he yelled, pushing Nick and the Maid out of the way. “After it!” the Maids with pots and pans clamored. Nick and the Maid from downstairs followed after them. Backlot ran into a long hallway full of rooms, and ducked into one of the rooms “Happiny!” she cried, chasing him in. The maids, fearful of going in, made way for Nick. “Alright, Happiny. Let’s calm down now, sweetie.” He tried being gentle with her. “Ha!” she cried, turning to face Nick. “That’s a good girl…” Nick coaxed her, noticing a large bruise on her head. “Come here.” He motioned for her to come near. The Pokémon jumped over to him, a tear in her eye. “Look at you… He really did a number on you, did he?” Nick continued to play gentle. Happiny eyed him curiously, wiping away a tear and fighting back more. Nick offered his arms, grinning. “Happiny!” she cried, Pounding him right in the face. “… Ow.” He winced. Her meager little arms weren’t capable of hurting, but it did sting. Zero eyed her menacingly, protecting his trainer. Happiny ignored him, turning her attention back to Backlot. “You keep her away from me!” he assumed the fetal position in the corner. Nick stood up to face the Maid who he had first seen. “Get me an ice pack, won’t you please?” he asked her. She nodded and made a dash downstairs. “Buddy, come on out! Quickly, use Sleep Powder!” Nick ordered as the Maid fetched him the ice. “Oddish!” the Pokémon cried, firing off spores at the Happiny. “Ha-“ it started, beginning to turn around. “… Pinny…” it said weakly, falling asleep. She gently hit the floor, and Nick ran up to the resting Pokémon, cradling it in his arms. “Thank you very much, young man!” Backlot celebrated, standing up. “Shhh!” Nick hissed at him, looking at the sleeping baby in his arms. “Here you are!” the Maid chimed, holding a small ice pack. Nick took it, keeping the sleeping Happiny in his arms. He gently rubbed it over her bruise. A gentle cry of pain came from her, but it quickly subsided as Nick carefully iced her wound. “Shh Shh….” He crooned, walking over to a chair in the corner of the room. Backlot observed this for a few seconds and then walked out of the room silently to sum up the damage to his property. Zero and Buddy observed silently, wondering why Nick was treating the Pokémon with such care. “Hey, Buddy… Use Aromatherapy.” He whispered. “Oddish.” It complied, a pleasant scent emanating from the leaves on its head. “Ha… Happiny…” the baby Pokémon babbled in its sleep, a grin appearing on its once somewhat pained face. The scent distracted it from its pain, as it slowly woke up. “Happiny?” it asked, looking up at the human who was so tenderly nursing its wound. Instead of violently reacting, it propped itself up and grinned at Nick. “Happiny!” it smiled, planting a Sweet Kiss on his forehead. It giggled and embraced him. “Heh heh.” Nick laughed, embracing the little Pokémon. Zero and Buddy looked to each other and shrugged. “So, Happiny… How would you like to come on and join my team?” he asked, holding up a Poké Ball. “Hap Hap!” it swatted the Poké Ball away and jumped off his lap. It tossed a few punches in his direction before losing balance and falling on its rear in the cutest way imaginable. “Hap…” she cried, ashamed he had seen that. “Isn’t that cute…” Nick grinned. “Alright, Zero. If she wants to battle, we’ll battle.” Zero stepped forward to face Happiny. She stood up and readied herself to battle. “Zero, start with a Scratch! Go easy on her!” The Totodile approached the small Pokémon, feeling a bit guilty about hitting a baby, and poked it with his claw. “…” They stood in silence. “Hap!” she suddenly cried, landing a powerful Pound that sent Zero shooting backwards. “Whoa!” Nick was shocked this little baby packed such a punch. “Alright, Zero! Looks like no going easy on her!” he said, watching Zero emerge from a pile of books that he had crashed into. “Use Bite!” Nick ordered. “Totodile!” it cried, chomping down on Happiny’s ponytail. “Happiny!” she cried in pain. Fighting back tears, she blew a kiss at Zero, effectively Attracting it. He let go of her hair and sat down, admiring Happiny. “Zero, what are you doing? Hit her with a Water Gun!” Nick ordered. Zero ignored him, instead fawning on the adorable Baby before him. She then approached him, giving his snout a Sweet Kiss. “Ha!” she cried happily bouncing away. Zero chased after her in a feverish obsession with babies that had suddenly overcome him. “Zero, cut it out! Water Gun!” Nick repeated. This Pokémon was turning out to be quite the battler. Happiny made a sharp turn, and Zero crashed into a wall taking small amounts of damage. She turned to face the Totodile and Pounded it again. “Wow. You’re pretty rough.” Nick commented. “No more games! Zero, Aqua Jet!” he ordered. The Pokémon had a moment of clarity, and his urge to hug the Happiny subsided. “Totodile!” it cried, engulfing itself in water and ramming into the Pokémon. She was bounced back into a wall, where an acute cry came from her little body. Tears ran down her face as she cried loudly. Nick and Zero rushed to her side. She grinned and landed a Pound on Zero, who was knocked back down. Happiny huffed, exhausted. Nick burst into laughter. “Heh heh! I love this little lady.” He said, tossing a Poké Ball at it. One wobble, two wobbles, three wobbles… Sparks! “Welcome to the team, Sweetie.” Nick grinned, naming his new teammate. Backlot walked in just as Nick captured Sweetie, and applauded him. “Good show! Now, as for my repairs…” he jumped straight to the point. “Err… What?” Nick asked nervously. “Yes, yes, you are the current owner of that Happiny, correct? Then that means you are responsible for my err… Compensation.” He started. This upset Nick, and he approached Backlot. “Now listen here, bub.” Grabbing him by the collar. Nick invaded his personal space. “You stepped on her. So if anything, you owe HER compensation.” He threatened. Letting go of Backlot’s collar, Nick called out Sweetie. “Happiny?” she asked curiously. She looked at Backlot and clenched her jaw angrily. “Now, hold on. Mr. Backlot has something to say to you, Sweetie.” Nick said, picking her up and holding her to his chest. “Err… I am sorry?” he said. “That’s better.” Nick smiled, starting to leave. “But… What about my mansion? Its in ruins!” Backlot said, rushing after him. “You’re rich, aren’t you?” Nick grinned smugly at him, then running off towards the teleporter, finishing the mission.

Quote: · MISSION - Mechanic Lvl 2: Drafter Cost: 2 AP To a mechanic, there are few things more important than your tool kit. And wouldn't you know it? When you woke up this morning, your tools were gone! Evidence at the scene suggests a pokemon stole them during the night. Track it down and get your kit back. Pokemon: Any basic fighting type. Rewards: Mechanic Lvl 2: Drafter + 200-800 PD (Click on the link to hear audio of that line.) Nick awoke early this particular morning. He could have sworn he heard noises in the middle of the night, but remained in slumber. “Ughh… Guhh…” he grumbled, getting up from his bed and marching down to the restroom. Splashing water on his face, Nick finally woke up fully thanks to this, letting out a sharp cry. He stepped into the shower. “We’re gonna rock down to electric avenue… And then we take it higher…” he sang as he bathed. Stepping out of the steamy restroom with a towel around his lower body and hair covering his eyes, Nick hummed the rest of the song as he put down the towel and dressed himself. “Brr…” he felt a breeze rolling from his open window. ‘That’s odd… I could have sworn I left it closed last night…’ Nick thought to himself. “Ow!” he cried, stepping on his wrench while on his way to shut the window. “… Huh.” He bent down and grabbed it, continuing for the window. He shut it made his way back to his bed. Looking around for his Tool Box to put away his wrench, a confused expression crossed his face. “Umm…” Nick blinked, looking around. “Where the heck is my tool box?” he asked, getting nervous. He glanced out the window and looked out, observing more of his tools lying on the ground. “Hey! Someone took them!” Nick yelled. He ran back to his bed, put on his socks and shoes, grabbed his backpack and headed out the front door of the Aqua HQ. He ran out and circled the base to find his screwdriver. “Damn it!” Nick yelled, picking it up. Spotting another in the distance towards the forest, he sighed deeply. “I’m gonna be here a while…” Nick shoved the screwdriver in his pocket and marched towards the miniature crowbar in the distance. “I swear, if it was Ginji who did this…” Nick muttered under his breath, entering the forest. Slowly making progress into the forest and little by little getting his tools back, Nick was unnerved by the cries of many Bug and Dark Pokémon that lived in there. They were generally friendly, but one never knew how they would decide to behave at a disgruntled human collecting his tools while muttering foul words under his breath. The Pineco and Sewaddle stared at Nick from the trees, while several Bisharp and Nuzleafs observed from the shadows. As the forest got darker and the trees got bigger, Nick had trouble seeing. “Uhh… Man, I really need a Fire type…” Nick said in a low voice. “Hobbes, come on out.” He called out his little Joltik. The small Pokémon looked around, delighted to see trees. It promptly climbed one and looked down at Nick. “Hobbes, get down here! I need you to use Electro Ball and light the way.” He called out. The Joltik nodded and jumped down, creating an orb of electricity that lit up the darkness that surrounded them. “Thanks, Hobbes.” Nick looked down to the minute spider and continued to walk with Hobbes at his side down the forest. “Hmm…” Nick noticed there weren’t any tools appearing, but he was still missing quite a bit of them, not to mention the box to put them in. “I think we’re lost.” He looked around. Everything was dark, only a few specks of light dared peek through the treetops. “Ummm….” Nick looked around nervously. He saw something move in the bushes and turned to face it hastily. “Scraggy?” a small Pokémon asked curiously at the alarmed Nick. It looked like a lizard with very baggy pants. “Joltik Tik!” Hobbes grinned at it. “Err… Sorry to have disturbed you.” Nick said, hoping it wasn’t aggressive. It didn’t look mean; in fact it looked quite adorable. “Scraggy Scrag!” it happily cheered. Nick felt the weight of the tools in his pockets and looked down at the Pokémon. “Hey, Scraggy?” he had an idea. The little lizard looked up at him with a quizzical expression. “Have you seen any tools around?” Nick asked the Pokémon. The Scraggy thought for a second and sat down, continuing to think. Nick was about to give up on it and continue walking when it suddenly jumped. “Scrag!” it cried, grabbing Nick’s hand. “Ah!” he yelped, being dragged by the Pokémon. Hobbes followed, still projecting the Electric Ball to illuminate the way. “Err… Where are we going?” Nick asked as the Scraggy continued to drag him away. “Scraggy!” he said. This made sense to Nick, so he continued to allow himself to be pulled. In the distance, he could see lights poking in from the treetops. “Wait, is that a clearing?” Nick asked, pulling his hand out of the Scraggy’s grasp. The Pokémon nodded and continued ahead. He and Hobbes followed it closely, wondering why he had guided them there. As the trio neared the clearing, Nick heard Pokémon cries and spotted his Tool Box atop a stump. Nick’s heart jumped for joy as he started running for his toolbox. “Gotcha!” he held it up. He opened it up and dumped his tools into it, noticing there weren’t any missing. “Great! Thank you, Scraggy!” Nick turned around to thank the little lizard. It jumped excitedly. As Nick turned to leave, a claw that moved so fast, he didn’t see it until his leg suddenly started bleeding cut him. “Sneasel!” the attacker looked smugly at Nick as he dropped the Tool Box in pain. In the blink of an eye, it grabbed the Tool Box and tossed it against a tree, scattering the contents. “Joltik! Scraggy!” the two friendly Pokémon called, ready to attack. “Ugh… Why are Pokémon so mean these days? Hobbes, hit it with Thunder Wave!” Nick ordered, pulling up his pant’s leg to observe his wound. “Sneasel!” the enemy Pokémon cried, using Double Team. Hobbes’ attack missed, hitting one of the clones. Scraggy looked on, not sure of what to do. “Hobbes, hit it with Signal Beam then!” Nick ordered. The Sneasel used Double Team once more, raising its evasion. However, this did not help it for the Signal Beam emitted by Hobbes landed square in the chest. Nick continued to clean his wound, disinfecting it and then wrapping gauze around it. “Scraggy…” the Pokémon observed, still unsure of what to do. Nick remained levelheaded, trying to ignore the pain from his cut and stood up. “Hobbes, use Signal Beam again!” he ordered. “Sneasel!” the enemy cried, just recovering from the attack. It looked at the little Joltik with spite and brought down its claws on it, using Crush Claw. “Jol…” it cried in pain, barely enduring the attack. It staggered around, the world was swirling around it, and to top it off there were several Sneasels jumping around… “Joltik!” Hobbes exclaimed, firing off a Signal Beam at one of the clones. The Sneasel laughed a wicked laugh and looked at Hobbes. Getting cocky, it used Hone Claws to prepare itself for the seemingly pathetic Pokémon’s demise. “Hobbes, use Shock Wave!” Nick ordered. The Joltik concentrated for a second and unleashed a pulse of electricity. It wiped out all the clones and raced towards Sneasel, who was smugly sharpening his claws. The smile was swiped off its face as the wave drew closer and knocked it down. As the Sneasel got up, Nick had made his way to his tools and grabbed his wrench aided by his recently purchased Invisibility Watch. “Hey, ugly!” he called its attention before it could attack Hobbes again while he uncloaked. As it turned, it was met with a wrench to the face. “ Did I throw a WRENCH into your plans?” Nick laughed, as he was fully uncloaked. “You did great, Hobbes!” he grinned, recalling the injured Pokémon. Leaning down to gather his tools and put them away, Nick observed Scraggy run towards him. “Scraggy!” it yelped, helping Nick with his tools. “Why thank you, Scraggy.” He patted it on the head, struggling to get up. “Scrag!” it heckled, pulling at Nick’s pants. He turned to face it, and he pointed at Nick’s Poké Balls. “Oh? You want to come with me?” Nick asked, grabbing Ecto’s Poké Ball. “I guess you want a battle then?” he grinned, getting ready. Scraggy nodded and leaped away. “Go, Ecto!” he summoned his Duskull, who gazed down at the odd lizard Pokémon. “Ecto, start out with a Will O Wisp!” Ecto nodded and spat a weak fire at Scraggy, who was singed. “Scra…” it started, jumping up. Ecto looked around, wondering where it had gone. As he looked for it, Scraggy landed on top of Ecto with a Faint Attack, causing it lots of damage. “Dusk!” it cried in pain. The fire crippled Scraggy a little bit. “Now use Hex!” Nick ordered. Ecto placed a Hex on the Scraggy, which inflicted normal damage due to type resistances. Scraggy responded with a Swagger attack, confusing Ecto. As if by magic, the Burns then vanished off his body, thanks to his Shed Skin ability. Nick bit his lip; this little Pokémon was tough. “Ecto, use Night Shade! That should weaken it enough to capture it!” Nick said. The Duskull instead chose to slap itself multiple times, taking damage. The Scraggy than began using Work Up, by throwing a few practice punches. “Ecto, come on! Hit it with Night Shade already!” Nick commanded. “Duskull!” the Pokémon had a moment of clarity and attack the Scraggy with a Night Shade, knocking it back. Scraggy bounced right back up and jumped onto Ecto with a Crunch. Ecto fell down, unconscious. “Alright, time to catch you and go home!” Nick said, recalling Ecto and tossing out another Poké Ball at Scraggy. One shake… Two shakes… Three shakes… Sparks! “Heh heh… Welcome to the team, Coolio.” Nick laughed as he limped on over to the Poké Ball. As he picked it up, it vanished into his PC. “Wait… I don’t know my way out of here! COOOOOOOLIOOOOOOOO!” Nick yelled up into the skies; his scream startling nearby Pidgeys. (Sorry this sucks, I've been very sick and I wanted to write something... D: )

Quote: MISSION - Mechanic Lvl 2: Drafter Cost: 2 AP To a mechanic, there are few things more important than your tool kit. And wouldn't you know it? When you woke up this morning, your tools were gone! Evidence at the scene suggests a pokemon stole them during the night. Track it down and get your kit back. Pokemon: Any basic fighting type. Rewards: Mechanic Lvl 2: Drafter + 200-800 PD Er... I'm not exactly sure what to do. In order to do this mission, you need some AP. Meaning you have to do missions that don't require AP, but give you AP. I can't pass it, but I don't want to fail it. Uh... I could use some help from a teir 1 on what to do with it for now. On the other hand, what I can do is offer some advice on it. First off, though many don't really know, Team Aqua HeadQuarters is actually underwater. I find it silly that a pokemon would steal tools from an underwater building that one can access only with the TADS on the person. I'm pretty sure I got that right... xp Anyways, I declare this mission... VOID? Yes, for now, it is void. Do some AP earning missions first, and then you can post this one. It's a good mission though, so hang on to it.

Errmm...Answer #2 says we have 3 AP points when we start out. I did the level 1 mission, which requires no AP, and so started on this one which would leave me at 1 AP.
