"For a tree to become tall it must grow tough roots among the rocks." - Friedrich Nietzsche
Astin blinked as harsh brown eyes met her brilliant blue orbs. She looked at them for a while before responding, she smiled a bit and looked up at the Dark Knight, "Your eyes are the color of bark."
She leaned against the wall again, her head titled up towards the Knight. He was strange to her, he had such a strong hatred for the Court yet what had they really done to him? Make him follow rules, heck she wasn't a fan of the rules herself though if Aurelia said it she had to heed her words. As she watched the Knight her eyes caught sight of a white streak in his hair and she reached out, "Looks like you missed a spot with you dye job."

Hearing his voice Aurelia froze, drawing her attention away from the sky and watching him in her peripheral vision. For a moment she was surprised by his change of character, but relaxed hearing him laugh. "Riku, you scared me there for a moment." She smiled, turning to face him. "It isn't like you." She laughed, crossing her arms to protect her against the chill. She mentally began to scold herself, wondering why she was wearing a skirt of all of the options she had. However, Aurelia didn't want to suggest to go inside, knowing that this was the only meeting place she and the Black Knight could meet peacefully.
"Um..." She looked to her feet for a moment, feeling a little awkward now that he was here. The Queen then searched for a new discussion topic in her head, her mind scrambling to break the silence. "In response to your statements, seeing such a scene above us can actually be quite depressing." Looking up again she began to scan the stars, as if counting them. "It only proves that life can be so fleeting. See that?" Stepping closer to him she pointed to a particular star, the brightest among them. "That may be the most beautiful of all, but I believe that is a dying one." Putting her hand down she sighed, crossing her arms again. "Stars explode when they die, and release an extraordinary amount of energy and debris, causing the bright light we see." Biting her lip she returned her attention back to the current moment. "Sorry," She said nervously. "That was depressing. Anyway, what did you want to talk about?"((It looks like I will have the ability to post tomorrow. Again, I'll do my best. ^^))

Riku shook his head, "Hey, nothing works out perfectly. And death is part of life." He scanned his mind for a good analogy to use here, and found one. Grinning he said, "Life is sort of like dinner if you think about it. You eat your meal, and afterwards, you're supposed to get a desert. Except death isn't that sweet." He laughed and took his head phones from around his neck and laid them on the safety railing. "But, I don't think either of us are here to discuss such a dramatic thing. But rather..." He paused for a second. What did they come up here to accomplish? Riku just thought it'd be a great idea to talk to Aurelia a bit more, but he really hadn't planned anything to talk about. "Well, I don't even know. But I'm sure it'd be something other than a debby downer." Ken tensed up a bit from her words. He couldn't quite determine if the first comment was actually a comment or an insult. However, the second one surely sounded like an insult to him. His lighters flame turned from an orange color to a deep set blue color. He didn't miss a streak in his dye, he had a very specific reason for it to be there. "I didn't miss a spot." He lowly said, clenching his fists tighter into his palm. Much more and he'd probably draw blood from his palm. Curse Cyclone and his stupid psychological ideas. Wouldn't it be easier to get at them by beating the Council down repeatidly? He watched her hand reach out for his single strand of hair and grabbed her wrist. "Don't touch it. Senpai" He literally growled and threw her hand back down. He shoved that hand into his pocket.

Lunaru Strolled out of the car carrying his bag and his key. He began to wander the halls looking for his dorm. He could hear kids cheering, the sound of pencils tapping paper from kids having a hard time doing homework from open dorms and outside tables, arguments among students about who was right and wrong, and the sounds of people chatting while finishing their dinner in the school cafeteria. Eventually Lunaru found his dorm. Lunaru stared at the door for a second. then pulled his key out, jostled it in the lock, and opened the door. Inside he saw a bed, a desk, a window with a semi nice view, a lamp, and a dresser. He looked at the room with disapproval until he remembered he wasnt sharing his dorm with anyone, or at least for now. He quickly unpacked, ready to have everything in order. When he finished, he lay back on his bed and looked at the ceiling. "I need those glowing sticky stars for my room," he thought to himself smiling.
As he lay thinking of when curfew must be, his stomach growled angrily. He sat up holding his stomach and headed for the door still in the uniform sent to him to put on before his arrival at the school. Lunaru closed his door without locking it and headed for where he remembered the cafeteria was. On his way he had gotten lost. "how do they expect me to find anything in such a large place?" Lunaru thought.
He stopped at a fork in the hall and saw two people conversing in the hallway. One bore the same uniform as he the other wore casual clothes. He thought they may help him. Lunaru walked towards them at a quick pace as he heard his belly growl more at him.

Misa had the strangest sensation of floating, well not really floating because her left foot kept dragging against the ground, and it felt as if she was lopsided. This is one of those weird dreams isn't it? The girl thought to herself as her left foot touched the the floor again. She peeked open her eyes blearily and saw the reason why she was lopsided. On her right, was Naoya-Sempai who was almost a foot taller than her, and on her left was Cyclone, the King of the Black Knights who was just a little shorter than her, by about a half inch. Wow...This really is one of those weird dreams, I'm being helped by a munchkin who's almost taller than me. She thought deliriously, as she tried focusing on the dream- Naoya's face who was actually the real Naoya.
"Naoya-sempai?" She asked outloud, her voice still hoarse." Why is the munchkin king helping me?" As she peered over to her right to look at the Black Knight King's profile, squinting at the 12 year old's face with a rather confuse expression on her flushed face." This is soooo bizarre..." She murmured before her head fell forward again and she was comatose once more.

Dropping her hand, she glared at the Knight her smile fading. He had grown harsher and she didn't like how he had gotten all serious. This Knight was annoying her he was taking things way to serious, and that wasn't even including his role as a Black Knight. She crossed her arms looking up him with annoyance on her face.
"You know being so tense all the time isn't good for you. It drains your life energy making you weak. And I'm not a big fan of you calling me Senpai we're in the same grade, its Joker or Astin take your pick."
Her eyes shot down the hall to another student, but she flicked them back to the Black Knight watching his movements closely. She wasn't sure how he was going to react but she knew she needed to be on her guard and not get distracted by another student incase the Knight decided to get more hostile.

((The maker of the RP said I'm accepted even though I'm not on the list yet... So, hiya!)) A rather loud bang is heard through the school as anyone outside sees a small plume of smoke rising from the courtyard in the front of the school. A males voice is heard carried softly in the night air. "Darn it, not again... Why won't you work?" A few moments later the sound of metal on metal was heard through out the night. "That should just about do it..." the voice spoke again this time a little softer.

"Munchkin!? Why I ought a--" He stopped himself before finishing. Calm down Cy. She just delirious, she doesn't know what's she saying... He thought calming himself down a little. He really wanted to yell at her, but wanted to be a good little boy (irony) and stay calm. He looked at her awful state. Man, I'd feel a little sorry for her, but a Black Knight should NEVER pity a Court Member. He sighed and kept walking.

Lunaru Reached out tugging on the male students shirt. Both the other students were tall and Lunaru thought he was going to need a surgery on his neck from looking up all the time. "excuse me but can either of you show me where the cafeteria is or maybe a snack machine?" Lunaru asked hungrily. His stomach was growling and tensing up so much now that Lunaru was beginning to burp from the contractions. After a second Lunaru sensed a tense vibe. There was something up here. He felt as if he might of walked into something. Lunaru stepped back about a 4inches and tilted his head over to see the girl frowning at the other student. Lunaru was utterly confused now. all he wanted was food and it seemed as if he was about to get served some drama. He hated drama, but he needed directions.

Naoya quickly tuned his head to the side when Misa sluggishly spoke, but anyone who looked at the reflection of his face in the window could clearly see that he was chuckling. "Don't worry Misa-chan." He said, turning back to the poor bundle. "It's just a very odd dream. After all." His eyes flicked over to Cyclone. "Court and Black Knight members could never peacefully work together could they?" This last statement, though still being spoken to Misa, flet directed at the shorter student. Though there was no hint of mockery in his voice. Only the question. A few more minutes passed with no more major incidents, though Misa did begin drooling a bit. And soon enough the two males found Misa settled comfortably into an infirmary bed with the nurse fussing over her with thermometers and hot water bottles. "Well, I thank you for the help He-, Cyclone. But now I am afraid I must be off. Do have a good night." And with one quick glance at his watch, the black uniformed Jack strode out the door. ((Uhm, Yutsune who are you trying to talk to? If it's Riku and Aurelia, they're on the roof. Not a hallway. If it's Astin and Ken, they're in the training room.))

Trey opened the door of her dorm. Rubbing her eyes as she looked left, then right down the hall way. Where is everyone? She thought to herself, knowing full well the others wasn't even then slightest bit worried about her.
She straightened her shirt, fixing her hair. Once again, she slept way too long. Wiping the sleep from her eyes, she brushed her fingers through her two toned hair. Causing the blond to settle up front and the brown to fall behind, like it was suppose to look. She winched when she came across a few knots in the back.
Trey stopped at the window at the end of the hall, looking out. It was night.. I slept all day again? she moaned as she watched the trees blow in the wind, smiling as they spoke sweet melodies to her. Why she didn't take her place in the court, she'd never fully understand. She just couldn't see herself hanging out with.. Well lets be honest here.. People who thought they was so special because they mastered their abilities, or their skills was unmatched.
She dilly dallied around the window for a while, watching the trees dance in the wind. The night blooms opening bright as she looked their way. It made her smile the beauty the night could hold sometimes.

Ken let out a small sound of disagreement, but, she was right. Scowling so deeply like he was now wasn't good for him, eventually, a straight face would become a smile of pure joy. Letting up a bit, he closed his lighter shut, effectively putting it back into his pocket. "Alright then, Astin. What do we do now?" He asked, keeping the sharp eye out for any punch thrown. It was really a staredown. His pride alone here would not allow him to leave before a Court member. No... he was too prideful of himself and the Black Knights to let Astin leave with her full pride. The good knews was, that she had straightened up when he got a bit hostile. Now that she knew he meant business, perhaps they could get somewhere. "Now, two things can happen here, and only two. Since the King is gone, I think a friendly training session turned violent isn't a bad idea. Or, we can walk out that door and pretend nothing happened here." When he heard something that resembled a squeak that only a freshman would put out, he looked down to see an extremely short kid, with a cold shot glare, he looked at the kid. "And what do you want, newbie? Can't you see we're busy here?"

Lunaru looked up into this upperclassmen's eyes. He felt a chill run up his spine. "This guy is mean," he thought.
"umm...umm...er yeah i was looking for the cafeteria, but got lost and i was just wondering if either of you could show me where it is. I'm Sure i passed it on my way to my dorm," Lunaru had said shyly.
He looked back down and twiddled his thumbs. He hated starting a converstation as much as he hated talking to scary people. He felt as though this guy would throw a punch at him at anytime. Lunaru prepared himself inside, to block or catch any punch or kick thrown at him. Lunaru then looked up, scratched his nose and smiled a huge wide a** grin. "Smiling makes things better, right!?" Lunaru thought to himself.

A few moments later the sound of metal on metal stopped as the male voice again sounded. "Alright here we go. Throw the switch! Darn it, I got to do it..." There was a loud grunting noise, a few seconds later a bright flash was seen emitting from the same location as the voice and the other noises.
The flash was so bright it litterally turned night into day, the stars disappeared beneath a vale of manmade light. A scream was heard a few moments later from the same male voice. "YES! IT WORKED! IT WORKED! I DID IT! I AM A GOD!"

On the tiny little bed in the infirmary, Misa stirred slowly waking up rather feverishly while making the kind of sounds you'd hear a toddler make when being woken from their nap against their will. She felt too hot, she was drenched in her own sweat and wanted to kick the covers off, but they clung to her like a second skin. She continued to weakly struggle with the blankets until a cool hand on her forehead brushed away her bangs and put a cool wet cloth there instead.
" Shh...It's okay, Misa-chan. You're in the infirmary." A kindly female voice murmured somewhere above her. " Naoya-kun and Cyclone-chan brought you in."
Slowly with great effort Misa opened her eyes to the the face of nurse Hitomi, the head nurse standing over her with concern etched in the wrinkles of her face. Nurse Hitomi was a rather plump old woman, but she was one of the kindest and wisest at Hinamori.
" How long have I been here?" The girl whispered weakly, lifting her head up a bit as she swallowed a pill and a plastic cup full of water was brought to her lips. She gulped down the water rather thirstily until it was all gone before flopping back into the pillow. Her whole body ached as if she had just been pushed down a hill with lots of rocks embedded in it's the hillside.
" Oh, not too long. You're fever's broken, so you'll be fine by tomorrow, dearie. But for now, I want you to sleep here for tonight. I'll be in my office if you need anything, so don't hesitate to ask." The old woman said as she drifted off to take care of her other patients, including a boy who was almost in a full body cast. For a few minutes Misa listened to the nurse footsteps, until she fell into the arms of sweet oblivion again and would not wake up for the rest of the night.
