**Theodore**Tel** Tel nodded in agreement to the move. Luckily at that moment the cooks offered up a tray laden with his soup and open sandwich. He added his pot and cup of tea to the tray and carefully balanced the hot lunch on one hand. Tel followed his new friend (They could call themselves that now right? They were being friendly after all) out the door, across the hall, and back into the dining room. He murmured a thanks for the door help Aya had provided and set down his meal on the vast table.
The pair settled in, tea and soup steaming, dishes clinking as spoons were stirred and liquids carefully sipped as they were tested for warmth. Tel took a first bite of his chowder. After the initial sense of HOT, his taste buds were immensely pleased with what they were presented with. This was so much better than the instant microwavable crap he had been living on for the past couple of years. Next was the hot open faced pumpernickel, turkey, and honey mustard sandwich. So good! His stomach cried tears of joy at the simple yet delicious fare. Tel swallowed gratefully and looked once more to Aya. "If you choose to continue conversing with me, I'm afraid you will have to keep translating yourself Aya," the little one said good naturedly. "I have no idea what 'otaku' is."

OCC: Oh... I was pronouncing it ke-mo for the longest time. I'm not pulling out the "e" sound... so it sounds a lot like chemistry.

He had been rather engrossed in his tea, to be honest.
Watching the other man eat his lunch had been... interesting to say the least.
In truth, Tetsuya had never been around foreigners before. At least not until being inducted into the Madame's service. He had studied hard at English conversation and literature, and while his teachers had always praised his skill with words.
It was hard to remember that he was in an environment that dictated a common courtesy of understanding.
Of course this way of thinking might be dashed when he met certain other members of this strange 'family', but for now, Tetsuya needed to focus on the normal flow of conversation.
"Otaku..." Aya whispered, trying to figure out just how best to explain the concept.
His gaze focused on Tel directly before voicing a question.
"Has there ever been anything that you were really passionate about? Something you liked a lot or followed closely? Usually an 'otaku' is someone with an obsessive interest in something, and it's more reserved for people who are passionate about things in the entertainment arts industry. But..." he sipped his tea, trying to word this right. "My friends said I was 'otaku' when it came to books... meaning that I have a strong interest in them that is rather obsessive."
In truth, Tetsuya hoped that made sense.
Sometimes he wasn't the best at explaining a concept, and he knew it.
"You'll have to forgive my slips." Aya spoke with a smile. "I haven't had much practice talking to anyone who doesn't speak Japanese as well."
He actually hadn't had any practice whatsoever...

History: Lux was born to Ellan Wess, who died shortly after his birth due to complications in childbirth. His father had left when he found out about Ellan's pregnancy, so Lux was sent to an orphanage after his mother's death. He was not a terribly social child, mostly by choice, but when spoken to, he was said to be a 'charming young lad'. He discovered the art of seance and furtune telling and was extremly talented. He devoted most of his free time in his adolesence to practicing the forgotten arts. Once he turned eighteen, he left the orphanage and tried to make a living off of his gift for the spirits. He soon realized that he could not survive on this living and, growing up with little care for morals, became a 'host'. He quickly rose through the ranks with his looks, charm, and talents and became relativly well known in the industry. He met Usagi at a dinner one night and she 'bought him' from the company soon after.

Emerald green eyes, about 5'9".
Blood Type & Zodiac Sign: Type AB, Scorpio, Snake
Personality: Though he doesn't go out of his way to be social, Lux is known for his charisma. He is not easily offended, but when he is angered, he has a notoriously bad temper. He plays nice with most people, but when he doesn't like someone, he makes it known. Though he's friendly, few people truely interest him. He has a knack for playing the perfect uke or seme, depending on the customer's desire. (((OOC: Mero, you really REALLY need to make sure you read all rules of the RP before making a character.
