Kai glanced to him, laughing when she (Ri) saw what he'd thought about her. "I knew it did one of two things. Either dust to dust, or chicken-ify him. I just didn't remember which spell did which." she said, leading him back to Leena.
"Leena, if there's anything we missed I'm sure you can find his spirit somewhere. Otherwise Dais can tell you what we learned. I don't exactly remember it all, I was a bit more focused on my spells than listening to him babble." she said, gracefully falling into a chair, once again with her legs crossed. The note with the names was gone too, hidden where only she would be able to retrieve it.

Leena looked up when Kai cam back with Dais, nodding to her statement. "Alright, thank you both." She said softly, indeed sensing the fresh spirit float around. For the moment though, she was content to let the others play around with him some, smirking as she could hear some of the cries. "Any hint at their plans?" She asked, blinking as Vadasz suddenly flew into the room, now a bird again. She shot him a glare as he started to fly towards her to rest on her shoulder. It was almost comical, he froze in midair and took a sharp turn to fly back out of the room. Damn right you should be afraid and ashamed.

The extraneous information could wait, and he wasn't about to bluntly say that Altarion had killed Leena's parents on front of everyone.
"With the exception of Aduial, Altarion has been installing people in each of the kingdoms to make it easier for him to take over. The one in Mereth has been here for about a year. It is safe to say that he doesn't plan on taking kingdoms down one by one," Dais summarized. He had placed the sentence on Walter being replaced for about a year as an implied message to Leena.
Actually, having Dais's name down for Talagand didn't make sense either. Altarion had wanted him to go to Aduial. He couldn't be in two places at once... unless... wrong information was given to the spies purposely. Dais dropped the thought. He was thinking too much.

Leena listened to what he told her, though she did seem to briefly freeze at the mention of when the one for her kingdom had come. A darkness passed over her eyes, but it was gone as soon as it had come. "Hmmm, we should warn the others then." She mused, knowing she couldn't send Vadasz anywhere, wondering if she could trust it to one of her men to warn the leaders of Aras and Talagand. "Thank you Dais." She said softly, giving a silent command to her spirits to grip that demons spirit. Oh she had a special plan for him. One that she would not mention to the others.

Gwen watched him go, glancing to Leena. "He did ask if we minded if he left and we told him he could go and we wouldn't die without the company." she pointed out, mildly surprised he'd left, rather than go hide with her like he used to. When Leena was mad at him he'd sit with her, and either hide behind her or let her hold/hug him. Yes, she was strange enough to treat a hawk like a puppy, but that was all she'd had at the time, and he never had done anything, just kept coming back.
"Something about strength and public and killing... someone. And I have a list of other agents, but they can be delt with soon enough once I've rested. The leaders will be informed and won't have to worry about finding them, or disposing of bodies and all the mess of a trial." Kai added.

Kai cannot be that scatterbrained, Dais thought, glancing at the mage. In any case, it should be obvious from what she said. "Politics," he mumbled.
Oh, right, Walter was bound to have a partner. "Ask them to check for others even in Talagand. They rarely work alone." ...except for him. And he was still suspicious of where Walter had placed his name.

Leena sighed and rubbed her temples, "Ok. Well, even then. I swear all he does is eat sometimes." She muttered, shaking her head before refocusing upon the more important things at hand. She laced her fingers together, her hands touching her lips in thought. She had an idea of what Kai actually meant by that, sighing heavily. "Ah, good. Alright, thank you Kai. Are you sure you don't want help with that?" She asked, turning her brown eyes to her friend with a small tilt of her head.
Though she was distracted by Dais' suggestion, nodding as her brown eyes came to rest on him. "It will be done. Is there another here in Mereth or did he not say?" She asked, wanting to know if she should be searching for another traitor or not.

Kai shrugged. "If you would like, you can. But I should have the strength to do so, especially if I don't do them all at one time." she said. She didn't care either way.

"He did not say, but there is one." Because Dais was doing his usual "thinking too much" and connecting the dots on the shadow incident earlier and the incidents in the Mereth village. It wasn't Walter because Walter was already in. The shadow must have been from his partner.
((I'm waiting for Amaya/Amaryllis's response before Dais decides to explain his identity.))

Leena frowned, taking a moment to decide something before raising her eyes again. "Well, if you are sure Kai, then I won't complain to you doing it. I need to gain some semblance of order after what just occurred." Then she turned her eyes to Dais, nodding once. "I'm sure I will find out and capture him. Do they have any devices or means to communicate with Altarion that I should know about?" She could create a jamming spell that would encase the city since she guessed the partner would be in the city still.
(( ah, ok. ))

"Oh." Kai made a short motion with her hand, the device appearing in hand. "To either Altarion or the partner. There's probably a way to trace it." she added.

Leena held out a hand, the device floating into her palm, mindful of where the touched it so she didn't set anything off. "Oh? Probably a way to speak to both, but Altarion for sure." She was looking it over, trying to get a sense of how to trace it, sighing as she returned it to Kai. "I was already thinking on asking his spirit a few more questions so I'll get it from him." She did think it a good idea to keep the device for now though since one never knew if it may come in handy.

Kai nodded. "Mkay. Oh, and if you need it for some reason his body's in a jar in one of the rooms. I can get it if I need to." she added, right as a servant knocked on the door. "Um, Highness? There's a crazy strange black horse in the stables, and Marcus tried to touch her and she bit him, then tossed Mike when he tried to ride her..." a servant said hesitantly, drawing a sigh from Gwen. "Why are you riding strange horses? Nevermind, don't answer that. Leena, I need to make sure Tyri's alright. I'm sorry to leave you again." she said, hurrying out to go to the stables to keep anyone else from doing something stupid where her mare was concerned.

Leena couldn't hide her smirk, that would be useful and much more tuned towards what she had in mind. "Later I think, once I'm sure everyones settled in, comfortable, and content at least for the moment if possible." She managed to answer before the servant began to speak, turning her attention to him. Blinking, she knew which horse they meant too, glancing to Gwen right as she sighed. "I do agree, you shouldn't be riding other peoples horses. Well, get Marcus treated and make sure Mike rests a bit if he's injured." She told him, now focusing on Gwen. "It's alright, forgive them." She called, rubbing her temples.
Meanwhile by the stables in the bushes, Vadasz was curled up whilst groaning, his stomach non too happy about all the food he had eaten, much less what he had consumed. I knew I shouldn't have had that last marzipan... He had heard the commotion with the horse, recognizing it as Tyri, but frankly he didn't feel like helping. He was sort of paralyzed in a sense.

Gwen paused, hearing someone in the bushes moaning. At first she assumed it was one of the boys who had messed with Tyri, until she saw the two being led off. "Dammit..." she muttered under her breath, going over and pausing when she saw Vadasz. "You're not dying, are you? Otherwise I'm not sure-" she started, hands resting on her hips. She winced when she heard a large crack, a shout, and the sound of hooves trotting out of the stable. She wasn't at all surprised to see Tyri, holding what looked like part of a pair of pants, and underwear, and a touch of blood.
"Tyri... Don't bite people, settle for kicking." she sighed, taking the things from her horse's mouth and throwing them at the man who had somehow been bitten in a fairly sensitive place. "Don't get your a** that close to her mouth and she'll leave you alone. She wouldn't have done anything if you hadn't messed with her to begin with." she said, not at all amused by the treatment her mare had recieved before she turned back to Vadasz, crouching down beside him.
"What'd you do? Eat the red berries again?" she asked softly, slightly teasingly. When she'd stayed with Leena's mother she'd found him in a similar state, though as a hawk rather than a half-dressed man, after eating berries he shouldn't have.
