(Rules Below) 1. Each of the 205 Fight-Capable (or soon-to-be capable) characters in the Guild has been randomly drawn, seeded, and placed into a bracket. This bracket is the 'Ultimate P4:FES/4.5 Showdown Fantasy Tournament! 2. Each round, matches from the Tournament will be posted as a poll in the following sub-forums throughout the Guild: Main Forum, Iwatodai/Port Island, Inaba, Mayonaka TV World, Profiles Sub-Forum, and Iwadate. The pair you see in each forum is one 'match'. 3. Each match is a fantasy 'contest' between the two selected parties. Generally, the match is assumed to involve combat and skill using powers as they see fit. Winners of the 'contest' are based on opinions on who you select as the 'winner'. 4. Your job, as the voters, will be to go to each forum with a Poll and select the character YOU think would/should win the showdown between the two characters. While you should take power-levels heavily into account, you may also consider strategy, wit, and other factors into your decision as well. While this is not a popularity contest, some bias is expected in instances where competitors are closely matched. 5. The first character to achieve a certain number of votes (likely 5, depending on the speed of voting) will be declared the winner and move on to the next round of the Tournament. 6. New 'matches' will only be posted once the current round is completed. For updated brackets to see who has advanced and who your character might face next, check this Tournament Bracket for up-to-date Tournament Results. 7. If you see that a character has achieved the required number of votes, let me or another mod know immediately...this way we can move on the winner as fast as possible. If you are a mod and see this, relay the results and then after I've received it, please take down the poll. 8. Matches in the next round will only begin once the previous round has ended. 9. This should go without saying, but I implore you to only use one vote for each match-up. Do not use any mules, do not persuade, intimidate, or bribe somebody into voting for your character. And if at all possible, I would like to know who you are voting for in the OoC...just to be sure. Naturally, this isn't going to be possible all the time with so many votes, but it's good to keep track. 10. Do not hesitate...VOTE! The sooner we get results, the sooner the tournament prorgresses. 11. Anybody who writes a story or scene involving two characters involved in one of the matches, showing the correct winner (may be done after the match ends), and posts it in the OoC may be eligible to win a FANTASTIC PRIZE!12. More may be added later... Now what are you waiting for? Get out there and start voting! Choose the winners! Time marches forward in Iwadate and the White Palace of Shirokidan High; yesterday's excitement is replaced with the ominous spreading of the rumors of the supernatural near the Tsukuyomi Shrine. Many students whisper about a pair of students who had gone down there the night before...but the end of the story varies with each telling. Meanwhile, another rumor is in circulation of a much more credible variety...the new student, Haruto Mashiba's infamy continues to grow throughout the school. Lunchtime passes with very little incident...but the Evening promises an exciting night out with new friends at the Shrine? And what surprises will it have in store? First thing's first...they must survive through club time to get there!
