Dr. Akiko Takahashi As they got to the infirmary, Akiko first noticed Jojo as she said the last bit. "That bump looks like it needs some ice.." She then noticed Rinie, walking up to her and said, "Who put the leg in the makeshift splint..?"

Derek patted Jojo's head lightly, being careful not to touch the bump. Then he turned to Akiko who had made a comment about his splinter. "I did. We were on the other side of the facility and didn't want her injury to shift around in transit. No morphine was given, nor was there any ice around to help get the swelling down." As he said the last part, the trainer went over to the freezer and retrieved two ice packs. He wrapped them up in seperate towels giving one to Rinie and the other to Jojo.
Derek's camo blouse was back on, but his brown undershirt was nowhere to be seen, and his blouse wasn't exactly on properly either. It was unbuttoned, showing off his toned body, dog tags hanging from his neck and gleaming in the light.

Agni was doing one of his favorite things, while craziness was occuring in the facility. Sitting upon the roof, the teen was listening to his music while staring at the clouds. He loved listening to music and then being able to simply stare at the sky. Like a small child, he loved identifying creatures, people or things that appeared in the clouds. "Ummmm," The teen thought. "That one's a little harder." Agni lifted his hand and began outlining the cloud. "Ummmm." Closing his right eye, he tried to get a better prespective on it. "Oh. That's a moth." Dropping his hand, his palm smacked his forehead. "Duh." Scanning the clouds, the teen found both a flower and an octopus. Agni's mood suddenly dropped when he saw one of the clouds. "Enki." He said, nostalgically. The cloud was shaped like a water droplet. Enki's favorite shape in the clouds was a water droplet. A tear formed in the corner of his eye. Pangs in his heart convinced the teen to get up and leave the roof. He'd been up there for about ten minutes or so. Powering his music device for so long, the teen was comfortable being near people now. However, he didn't want to. Agni aimlessly wandered the halls of the compound. The only difference to any normal compound, was that in their stead, they were prisoners for war. They had to kill, they had to murder, they weren't suppose to be humans, they were suppose to be war machines. Enki hated war. He refused to help in that way. He used his powers only to heal the injured. A few times, Enki snuck into the labs and used his powers to try and make something. Wiping some more tears from his eyes, the teen continued to wander; mimicking his mind as it was confronted by memories.

"Unfortunately I can't even see your hand. You know this reminds me about a joke. Something about who two blind people who don't know where the other is. Actually I don't think that's a joke, I believe that's right now."

Rinie listened to them talk as she rode. She started to move her good leg up and down as she enjoyed being pushed around. "Wee." She said lightly. She then started to hum to make herself feel a little better then she did. Rinie perked up when she heard Akiko. "Hi Dr. Akiko!" She said in a cheery voice and then she saw Rico. "Big brother are you okay?" She tilted her head and looked up at him.

Amilee Madison Wilkins Ami totally wanted to scream many things at the man. Things like 'your stupid' or 'your so rude' or well something a bit more mean. But either way it was her duty as Older sister to show him around so thats exactly what she was going to do. She walked backwards until her arm brushed against his and took his hand. "You know...your weird..." she said this as she started walking towards the cafeteria, towing the guy behind her.

"Well soddit, if we all aren't just a bit weird then we'll just be a bunch of robots walking around. Harharhar." Di Shi said taking it as an insult. He took another drag of his cigarette before he finally flicked it into a random room.

Rue yawned and stretched, his one arm reaching above his head. "What time is it?" he asked himself groggily, scratching his head while he looked for his clock. When he found it, the display read 2000 hours. Rue groaned. "It was just supposed to be short nap... Lieutenant Farrar is going to be after me for missing self-defense again..." Swinging himself out of bed, Rue opened the velvet-lined case beside his bed and took out his prosthetic. A rough metallic skeleton coated with a flesh-like plastic, the prosthetic arm locked onto contact plates the SPC had embedded in his arm. Some trick of the wiring let his nerve impulses travel the length of the arm and move it using hydraulics. It wasn't very effective, though; he had to think hard to move it, and he couldn't bend the fingers very much. Heck, the plastic didn't even match his skin color. Still, he had to admit the thing had its uses. Rue lined the prosthetic up with his shoulder and pushed in the central prong, wincing as the plates made contact and a jolt ran up his nerves. He flexed the prosthetic a few times to check the connection. It might have been simpler to just leave it on while he slept, but Rue hated the feeling of foreign material beneath him. Satisfied with the connection, Rue padded out of his room on bare feet. He was wearing nothing but drawstring pajama pants. No point in getting dressed when the only place I'm going is the cafeteria, Rue thought. I need a bite to eat before I face my trainers. He yawned again, and when he blinked to clear his vision, he saw a white-haired boy walking aimlessly towards him. Rue tried to remember where he'd seen the boy. Oh yeah... his name was Agni, right? He was the suicidal soldier everyone had to keep helping. Rue looked closer at Agni as he drew near. Well, the boy definitely looked suicidal. You didn't need to be a mind-reader to see the deep sadness in the boy's eyes. It was beautiful, actually. Tragic, but still beautiful. Rue's fingers itched to put that emotion down on paper. "Hello," Rue said to Agni. "How are you today?" Still alive, I see, he wanted to add, but Rue bit his tongue to stop those rude words from escaping.
((Hey! I know probably none of you remember me, but I've been catching up with the RP and I'm ready to post now! I hope to have fun here. Oh, and Krazy, I know you and Di Shi are heading for the cafeteria, I just felt like meeting Agni first. ^^; Feel free to drop in.))

The major thing Enki hated was when he had turn down his music and ask again what someone said. Agni normally laughed and simply whispered whatever they said into his ear. Many days, Agni would try and teach Enki how to read lips. To him, it wasn't that difficult. Only a few words could trip him up, like Shot and another word very close to that, however, he could peice it together. Agni's attention was drawn from his daydream with Enki. "I'm alright. Thanks. How are you today?" Agni asked, politely. Agni wasn't a good liar. Even though he said he was ok, he made no attempt at a smile or even a happy expression. The snowy white eyes trailed over Rue. He could see the metallic arm. It was kinda funny, not the fact that Rue was missing an arm but that he was created in a lab trying to make a super soldier and he was still born without an arm. The fake arm was no where close to looking real or even lifelike. It was a pathetic excuse. Sometimes, Agni and Enki dreamt and planned of breaking out of the facility. Agni could take out the electric fence and Enki could stop anyone with his water powers. They were a powerful team. Now, that team was broken and incomplete. Enki was gone, forever.

Akiko looked as though she wanted to grimace when she was called Dr akiko- though she seemed to hide it really well with a serious face. As she undid the splint to check to see if the leg was set in place, she said, "You may call me Aki-Sensei, Doctor, or Sensei."

Derek blinked when Akiko hadn't answered him nor even acknowledge his presence. He was having a bad enough day as is and now someone is acting as if he doesn't exist? "HELLLLLOOOOOOO!?" He said aloud, hands cupped over his mouth, and leaning forward slightly towards Akiko. "DOCTOR NEWBIE! CAN YOU HEAR ME? OR DO I HAVE TO STAND CLOSER?" The Trainer spoke with loud, slow words. If this didn't work he would resolve to getting flashbangs from the armory.

"Derek are you alright?" Jojo couldn't help but ask. "Maybe you should get a check-up too. You're acting sillier that usual," she giggled. "Hey Aki-chan can you tell me what's wrong with me? Derek kept saying I look banged up. But I can't tell" Jojo pouted like a little girl. She really wish she could see sometimes. But that required actually having eyes.

Amilee Madison Wilkins Ami rolled her eyes, knowing he could see. She stayed quiet until they reached the door to the cafeteria. "We're here..." She wasn't excited about it or anything....so unlike her. Either way she let go of his hand and walked through the door, leaving him behind. The cooks all greeted Ami by name and asked her what she wanted. She got some chicken and the cook helped her to a table. She started eating, miffed at the new guy....

Krazy Michelle Ranak Jason Matthew James Jason sighed as he thought of a way to answer the girl. Yes he did care for the Soldiers...as a whole. Individually....well it depended. "Dear one... you would be better off talking to a medic about Agni's well being. That is not my area." He turned his back to her, wishing she wouldn't ask such questions. He didn't want to think about such things. Kairi's eyes faded over him for a moment. He didn't care. He couldn't care. Why did she allow herself to believe such lies that she created? Being cared for was not made for Soldiers such as her. And so, she bowed, the shame weighted upon her shoulders. "I'm sorry for having troubled you," she said in a soft voice, not turning her eyes to him, feeling ashamed.
Turning slowly, she left the room, standing in the hallway, feeling as if she were maybe the stupidest person alive at that moment. What was she thinking, going to Jason to ask him such trivial questions? Of course she would get such an answer back... Of course... Her footsteps echoed down the hall... She would go back her designated room... Think a little...

Akiko continued to examine Rinie's leg in silence, though when Jojo called her Aki-chan she shot a stern look at her, though she couldn't see she said in a slightly stern voice, "You may call me Aki-sensei, Doctor, or Sensei." After she examined she said to Rinie, "You're going to have to have a cast on it for a little while. And all training that requires exercise with the legs are forbidden until it's better." She then turned to Jojo and examined her head, "You do look a bit beat up, but at most you have a slight minor concusion.. nothing to worry about." She deliberately ignored Derek.
