Amora nodded, smiling faintly.
"Climate change," she agreed, "shifting prevailing winds, soil changes ... our position in relation to the stars and the sun. Even the moon plays a role. And while those things can, for the most part, be tracked, recorded, and predicted, there are many variables - including but not restricted to war and migration - also affect it."
There was a stunned silence for a moment, and then Reave chuckled. "If you have questions, ask Princess Amora. She is almost certain to have the answer."

Lin blinked several times, she had to admit the inner self that still asked questions squealed with joy. How often was it you had someone close to your age and knew just as much (if not more) than any adult?
Unless you counted one Neko...
"I should drag Shiro here sometime," Lin finally replied, "I think you and him would get along swimmingly."
Two knowledge driven people, somehow she wanted to see that, she was so going to drag Shiro here.

Amora and Reuven both looked at Lin, tilting their head slightly, their eyes bright with curiosity.
"Shiro?" Amora questioned before Reuven had a chance to speak - though he would have let her ask anyways, considering who she was, and the fact that he could tell her curiosity was greater than his (which was saying something).

"Shiro is Elnara-neesan's son, who is your mother's aunt by the way, Elnara... I keep adding suffixes to her name. He's a demon neko by birth, or at least partly... he can't be a full demon because his twin has bird wings and as I said demons have bat wings."
She shifted to her other foot, Shiro would like that, they had a library, maybe they have books he hadn't read yet.
"He loves to learn, though these days I suspect he does experiments like you do, mainly because I'm sure he's read every book available to him."
Of course it didn't help in his case that he remembered everything, sometimes having a memory like his was a curse. Well, she also suspected Kaito was the same way, but it was hard to tell because Kaito is so... bouncy.

"Twins of different races," Amora mused, her eyes growing unfocused as she grew thoughtful. "Interesting ... as twins, they obviously have the same parents, and yet ... one would expect them both to be a mixture, then ... but to be opposites ..."
Yet another puzzle to be figured out. And yet she had no doubt that she would accomplish it somehow - if she managed to meet the both of them, that was.

Unless they were created Lin thought silently but she really didn't want to get into the technical details of that! No wonder why some people would find Gaians so confusing, it was simply that... confusing.
Though it sounded like the trio and Amora would have fun.
"Curious?" Lin couldn't help but grin.

Amora laughed. "Of course I am!" she replied cheerfully. "I don't think there's anything that doesn't make me curious! Well, except thing that I already know."
She giggled. She loved learning new things, and she knew that if she ever ran out of thigns to learn, she would be gravely disappointed.

Knowing this Lin figured she should probably revised what sort of books to bring to Amora. Though that would probably start an odd book exchange either way she looked at it.
She giggled at that.
"I shall keep that in mind," Lin grinned.
She couldn't help but wonder if Amora would travel one day....

Amora smiled brightly at Lin. "But shall we continue on? There are other places we were going to stop, and we do have to be home for dinner. I did promise Father."
Reuven smiled warmly. "Then you'd best keep going," he nodded. "But do visit again. It's always lovely to see you." He bowed deeply. "Until next time then, Princess."

She almost forgot about that... Lin nodded at this, "Alright."
She smiled up at Reuven and waved a bit, "See you another time."
At least she would hope so, at least one more visit.

"Another time, Lin Winters," Reuven smiled back, raising one hand in a small wave.
Amora waved as well, then took Lin's hand and gently tugged her towards the door. "Come on, you said you wanted to see the glassblower," she grinned. "Have you ever seen how it's done before? It's fun to watch!"
If a little hot.

Lin shook her head at that, when she thought about it, she wondered why she never visited theo ther shops in the Southland but then again she was more focused on the people and not the trade.
"I have heard the concept behind glass, I asked once when I was little but I have never watched it being made."
She followed Amora out the door and back into the street.

"It's very interesting," Amora smiled. "I've only once been allowed to watch this particular glass blower, but once in a while we get one at the palace ... I'm not supposed to watch him either, but I always finish my lessons before Mother and Father realize it."
She giggled and skipped up the street, as if the heat that hit like a load of bricks as they left the inn didn't faze her in the least.

It was like a weight having to breath in the heated air. She followed but waited a moment before speaking, not trying to catch her breath, but to adjust was more the term for it.
"Is it dangerous to watch?" Lin inquired knowing full well anything with heat could be dangerous.

"If you're not protected, yes," Amora nodded. "I don't know if Renne will let us watch him work, but at the very least you can see what he's made. He has quite a gallery. Sure, he does windows and the like, but he also - and actually, mostly does art. Figurines, I suppose you could call them."
She had always admired the man's skill - one of the reasons she loved to watch the glassblowers at work was because she wanted to know everything about the process in hopes of someday producing something of her own.
