With the morning harbor competitions over, and one to take place in the afternoon, Kevin found himself with some free time. The Sea Guard captain gravitated toward the sword competition with the crowds. The fact that some people recognized him allowed his to gain some distance in the crowds, but at some point, it was so crowded that the captain couldn't move any further.

The man found himself next to a little girl, who seemed to be watching people intently. Due to the crowds, he was pushed into her. "Sorry there, little gal," he apologized as he quickly removed himself from her person.

SHRAVRA the metalsmith
One hell of a veiw...

Slowing down a bit to let Forest catch up and keep pace, Shravra turned to face her as he spoke back to her. "Oh, I don't know. I'll fight whoever I get to fight, But I'd prefer to fight someone with a bit more dexterity than the rest. Much more fun that way.
The crowds had thinned a little so Shravra had been able to walk quickly in a straight line without much hassle so it came as a surprise when he bounced off of a "vision of beauty". Not enough to knock her over but falling over himself. "I'm so sorry......" His jaw had dropped and stayed down while he kept staring. Suddenly his eyes shifted up, then he looked away quickly, his face going bright red. "I'm sorry. I...I... Blushing furiously Shravra stood up and hurried of to the entrance to the arena. Oh, god. She'll kill me if she knew that I just seen her.......there.

Isabelle The Barbers Daughter
keping concentration means loosing peripheral vision

The knock was a shock, Isabelle had been watching the Demon for so long she had forgotten about her surroundings. She scowled at the man before remebering her cover.
"Oh no, it's fine" she said as he walked away.
That, did, not, help....... Wait, what? Isabelle had seemed to break her concentration for one minute and there was movement over with the demon. A young elf had walked into her, and from the angle he fell, had basically seen all of her too.
hmm, wonder what she'll make of that then, if I was her, my meal may just have changed, though, theres something about that girl following him, a different aura, almost the opposite of the demons, no, never mind. I'm not concentrating enough. Isabelle got up from her bag and walked towards the back of the croud and propped herself up against a wall, maybe she could see more of the happenings from here.

triggerperfect,
[[I apologize for the delay, and the possiblitity that this post doesn't turn out to be very clever. School and work are eating me alive!]]

"Just stay close to me. And whatever you do," Aidan's eyes were urgent, "Do not look at her." For right now, this was the only advice she could offer. Using the collision that had just occured as an excuse, she pulled on Haucon's hand, leading him out of the crowd. Laughing a little nervously as she meandered her way lithely between people, the little elf took her eyes off the path in front of her, just long enough to look up and say, "Well, this effectively puts an end to our plans for the day." As she did this, Aidan failed to notice the second dark presence as they passed a young-looking girl who was leaning up against a wall. She considered going to find Moira, but decided that adding another person to the mix, especially one as important to Haucon as his sister would not be a good idea. Leverage was the last thing Aidan wanted the demoness to possess. They cleared the first parts of the crowd easily, and Aidan decided that using the main roads to arrive at her destination would be safest. There were multiple seas of people in each of them, which Aidan navigated with apparent ease. Earlier, had she been on her guard, the little female could easily have avoided being pushed along and tripped, but because she did not enjoy being on constant alert, she had allowed herself to lower most of her defenses. She didn't speak to Haucon, hoping that he would trust her enough to follow her blindly. Aidan seemed to be traveling in the general direction of her shop. Moving fast, she knew the demoness would not be far behind.

Even if the sword competition was not yet to start, Lord Thomas became a little impatient with the responses to his request of giving a seat to one of the common folk. The people were either too shy to come forward or fighting it out amongst themselves through words. This is supposed to be a festival.... I suppose I'll just pick someone from the back.

Whether it was out of irony or not, Thomas randomly pointed at someone towards the back of the crowd. That someone was Isabelle. "You, the young lady in the back there, why don't you come forward and enjoy the competition from here for today's festival!" the lord stated.

And because of Thomas's action, whether Isabelle liked it or not, she was going to be at the center of attention for the moment, even with Lenore's presence.

((Thomas has no aura because it's suppressed.))

----

"Okees!" Forest said, following behind Shravra. "Uh, oh!" she cried as Shravra crashed into Lenore.

"Clothes so shiny..." the girl commented, taking note of Shravra's red face. She bounded after him when he abruptly took his leave from the skimpily dressed blonde lady. "Ooohhhh, Shrarva, do you have a crush on her???"

Isabelle The Barbers Daughter
In the lime light

Seeing the large man in the box point at her made her wonder, did he know what she was like?
"Me sir? Oh wow! I've never been In a royal box before thank you hehe~." She said as bubbly as she could. Maybe it was just coincidence. For whatever reason she had ended up sitting in the box over looking the crowd.
well, it certainly is a view, I wonder if I can spot out that weird girl from before. Actually, I had better keep this persona up more solidly, as much as I'm itching for a kill, it wouldn't help me being found out. Isabelle looked up at the king like figure and gave a little chuckle with a smile beaming across her face. Turning back to the crowd she looked at the competitors wandering around the field, none of them looked like a challenge to her at all though there were the odd ones that were definitely 'different' in some way or another such as the man that bumped into her from before.

Lenore finally had come up with a rather daring plot to separate the would-be couple involving a “borrowed” sword, an case of mistaken identity, and a few of the competitors in the arena, when the metal smith had the gal of stumbling into her. Until that point, she had been staring at Haucon without blinking, attempting perhaps to make eye contact and cast a charm upon the hapless fool. Unfortunately, this was not to be, as the little elf caught her by surprise and nearly knocked her over.

Lenore shot Shravra a venomous glare that would cause even the stoutest of men to shrink back, noting his elven heritage. He was the second of his kind to tousle her today. There would be much retribution against their race for the indignities she suffered at their hands aujourd'hui. However, there were larger games afoot.

Ignoring the weak, apologetic creature, she wheeled, scanning the crowd for the elf and her rather lovely companion. Disgust quickly spread over her as she discovered the two had made a good run at disappearing. Adding insult to injury, the elf who had caused their escape also had slipped from her grasp. She shrieked in frustration, an all together horrifying sound that carried even over the large crowd’s chatter. Her eyes glowered, a dangerous flame burning just barely in check behind them and scalding all who dared let their eyes wander towards her.

(( A Question/OOC Thread has been set up if needed.))

I wouldn't call this a royal box. It's just a seat, and now I'm free from sitting here , the lord thought as he nodded to the girl as she stepped up to the seat area. "And what is your name?" he asked. It was customary to ask, and he intended on finding out anyway.

It really didn't matter who got chosen to sit in his seat. Sometimes, the person chosen would be controversial, but it was a festival, so Thomas would quell the masses with that. People were supposed to be having fun and enjoying the fruits of their hard labor.

... and besides, people didn't really go out of their way to annoy him... besides Forest, but it wasn't as if the townspeople loved him as if he was a god either.

Boy, was he looking forward to leaving town for the conference the next day! All this procedure and culture was boring him, and like certain other people, he was looking for interesting people in the crowds.

Haucon followed Aidan, somewhat surprised and shocked by her sudden control of the situation. He followed her instruction to not look back at the "woman" as they made their hasty retreat from the fair grounds. He still couldn't quite wrap his head around what was going on, especially the fact that he might be in danger, but he allowed Aidan to pull him along through the crowd. He briefly wondered where they were going.

Something finally stuck in his brain and he dug his heels in. "What about Moira?" He asked. "She's got the horses, and I'm supposed to make sure she gets home safely." he said simply

triggerperfect,

The little elf was so intent on her destination that when Haucon stopped, she continued to walk froward. For several moments she was pulling on his hand, and going absolutely nowhere. When finally she noticed that the ground in front of her was no longer disappearing, she stopped too. Turning around to look Haucon in the eye, she frowned. "If we go and get her now, we'll likely attract the attention of that demoness again." Aidan had no siblings, so she couldn't relate to the Stable Master's situation. "Until we're in a safer area, there is a very good chance that she'll catch up to us again." Her tone was slightly pleading, and the instinctual section of her mind was telling her to leave him behind and find a more secure location. Focusing on his face, she sighed a little, "If it's crucial to you, we can go get her now, but the longer we're out in the open, the more chance we have to be found." As an afterthought, she added, "I think waiting for a while would be best, but since Moira is your relation, you have the choice." A little anxiously, Aidan waited for an answer.

Haucon nodded still worried and began to walk once more following Aidan. He allowed himself to be led, wondering to himself how this had happened. One moment he was just enjoying the afternoon, the next he felt almost like he was being hunted. "Where are we going?" he finally managed to ask. Maybe he could send a message to Moira and she could meet them wherever it was.

((Where's Chuzuka? sweatdrop ))

Shizuru yawned as she waited for the tournament to start. The lord picked some obscure little girl from the back. She didn't like the girl, especially after the "bubbly" comment. She kinda looked creepy.

Haucon and Aidan moved past her hands together, and Shizuru blinked. She didn't know the apothecary was dating.. the elf was so quiet!

Isabelle The Barbers Daughter
Imagination of the damned

"My name is Isabelle sir, I just moved here today from a neighbouring city to run the salon. I think you should pay a visit,my wash and rinses are quite good if I don't say so myself" She giggled. Isabelle was actually thoroughly bored, she was stuck up in this box, and as it had turned out the view hadn't gotten any better as her 'entertainment' had decided to run away from each other. She had spotted a woman in the audience looking up at her differently from the rest for a second.

Isabelle launched herself at her unleashing all manner of slices and gouges with her razors and fury until she could no longer scream out in pain. She was still breathing and her eyes followed Isabelle where ever she moved, it creeped her out, it wasn't right, but she decided to change that, moving closer, slowly with the dripping clotted razor the corner a mere centimeters from the girls cornea. The popping sound was satisfying when it was closely followed by that last scream of agony as the girl finally gave in to the clutches of death.

Looking back into the real world Isabelle left the pile that was once the girl to melt from her thoughts, also she might as well watch the first rounds of the fights, and judge what the city had to offer in the way of heroes. It was better than doing nothing anyway, and there was always the chance of blood shed.

Cassie stood up silently and followed the Doctor outside where the sword competition was being held. Things like this had no interest for her, but decided she might as well enjoy it - bits of information tend to fly around in large gatherings. One bit might prove to be useful.

She stared down at the doctor and smiled. "Why so silent?"
