"Awww, Isto, c'mon, you know I was just joking!" Mauli started to head towards him, then stopped, scooping the screw up and tucking it into a miniature pocket on the inside of her hat. She'd give it to him in the forest... Fifth stage items were not things to leave lying around. Then, bouncing after him, she called out. "Wait up!"

She looked around, suspicious. And then... there it was again! That same sigh. She hadn't seen any Skull Monkeys around, she just assumed they were around. Hm. This was proving interesting. "Is somebody there?" she asked aloud to anyone who could hear. Her voice was a tad on the cold side, considering the potential SM had to resort to stealth rather then outright showing themselves. She would have never resorted to such a niave tactic if she didn't feel that if they were a threat, she could easily whip them down.

((Mask? What mask Lenta? O_o'?Skull? *confused*))

Endymion, turned, tail almost swooshing Hannah into the fireplace. She studied Remy for a second. Or at least whatever was poking from behind the sofa. She didnt consider him a threat. "Hello," she said, planning to leave it at that but then thought of something else to say. "How long were you there?" Seeing as he seemed...shy... she said it sounding more confused then angry. It was a better way of getting people to talk then threatening them..... most of the time.

"You're not a freak. You shouldn't care about what they say, Isto! It's not important!" She growled, stomping off after him. "Donchoo think everyone'd be suprised and happy for you, no matter WHAT you changed into? I know I would!" Her brow furrowed under her skull mask, and she stopped walking, turning her glare towards the ground. "But you know what? If you don't want to take a chance and try to make those 'hateful people' like you, that's FINE BY ME! Go ahead and be a whiny a*****e, and wallow in your pity! I care about you more than you think, but i'm not gonna stand around and try to help you if you're gonna shove me away!" With that, she tugged the screw out of her hat, chunking it as hard as she could at him, turning, and running back towards the HQ.

"Since you walked in, I think... I was asleep for a little while." Remy placed his front paws up on the couch arm, heaving his front up so that he could see her better.

The screw clacked against the back of his skull, and Isto immediately paused in step, listening in silence as Mauli's footsteps faded towards the HQ. Sighing, he turned to follow, then again paused, gaze falling on the small screw resting atop the leaves. He grimaces faintly and pulls his eyes away, looking up just in time to see Mauli exit the forest. And...he suddenly wasn't mad anymore. She'd been absolutely right, and he'd just been too paranoid to realize it. And now she was mad... Fine. ...Fine.

Sitting, he lifts his metal arm, eyes searching it for a screw that seemed the right side. He soon found one that looked about right, and, using claw on his left paw, began to unscrew it. A short while later the screw fell away; Isto left it where it fell. It wasn't important anymore. Reaching for his fifth stage item, he sets it in the hole left by the screw, using his claw to screw it in. The item fit perfectly, glinting dimly in the half light of the forest. Well...that was that, then. Nodding slightly in approval, Isto stands, wandering silently back towards the HQ.

Mauli entered the HQ front door, just as Remy had taken the chocolate from Hannah. Completely ignoring the three of them, she turned and sauntered into the kitchen, acting as if nothing had happened.

Of course, Remy knew better... And something in the back of his mind was nagging at him, telling him to follow Mauli and talk to her. But, the chocolate was smelling good, and the night was young, so he popped it into his mouth and beamed at Endymion. "Thanks. You could have anyways, but 'twas nice of you to share." Of course, he had no idea that she didn't like being nice... whee Poor, poor Remy.

Endymion flashed a smirk in his direction, but it was not because of his kind responce. It was because he saw Mauli in the kitchen, miserable, and that always made her smile. "Sharing is caring," she said, still distracted by Mauli's misery.

However, to see Isto walk in after Mauli wiped the smirk clear off of her face. Her mind spun at a million miles per hour and thoughts jumbled around. What if...they were....oh tha'd be funny. But then she'd have to make Isto's life hell as well. Oh fiddlesticks.

Snapping out of her distracted gaze, most ungracefully, she turnwed to Remy. "Endymion. That's my name. What's yours?" She asked, returning to her casual tone.

Thinking for a second she asnwered, "Yeah, once or twice." It was partially true. They didn't see each other too often, but when they did, sparks flew. The bad kind. "Rubber glue back to you. How do you know her?" Endymion asked back, eating another chocolate dantily.
