I don't think I even have a house, and how do you find a town with space in it for your house?
I'll look around and see what I can find - I'm sure these are stupid questions.

sissian I think a few pages back Fawn was helping me in how to get to a building permit and such. I think it costs 2K to get a hosing permit or what ever the name is.
I'll see if I find the name of where you should go. There is on the first page of this thread where people are generally located so you can look there.
Ok you have to go to Aekea housing commission from the world map and click the correct link. Hope that helps somewhat.

Actually getting a house is free and placing it in towns is free! The 2k you had to spend Sparky was for relocating your house from one place to another after you'd placed it.
Go to Aekea from the world map (it's the rightmost map area) and click on the Housing Commission. From there you can pick your house style and get a free permit to place your house in towns (although I'm pretty sure I placed some of my mules' houses without having clicked to get the permit!) You can browse around in towns (the direct link from either the Important Links thread or the Neighborhoods thread first post work better at getting towns to load sometimes) and there's a tab you can choose from the world map (the globe at the top) that will show you where available spaces are for placing your house. You can also choose to wait until another purkle neighborhood is placed where we all decide to stand around guarding an empty neighborhood until people we know have claimed all the spaces!

I just fixed up my house with all the free stuff we got. I really like it even though it has the cheapest stuff in it. The blue chair I believe was one of my free stuff clicks at the top of Gaia in the five areas. Towns usually doesn't work for me on this computer, but maybe I can see my neighbors on Fawn's computer!

I was running around towns just now (well, I still am) and I got my first in-town event! My avi had the eek emoticon over it as soon as I entered the neighborhood, and then one of the things on the ground somewhere in that neighborhood was a brown gift box! blaugh (Also, it doesn't look like this item appears in your rucksack along with flowers and bugs and trash you've picked up. It's already in my inventory after clicking on it!)
I wonder how the current status of available neighborhoods/plots is? There seem to be quite a few completely vacant neighborhoods, but not the little green vacant symbols on the map. So I wonder if it's like before and they were reserved by people who weren't ever actually moving in, and although they said those reservations should be expiring every day, they're not?

Well if any of the sweets are placing, Tab's sweet hasn't been placed I don't think even though it's crossed off the list. Jess can you verify this?

There's new plots finally!? And it's possible to reserve a place for friends..?? 0.0 Got a few friends from neopets that would like us all to have a place to live in that wouldn't have loads of strangers in it, been waiting for this to be possible.. and I of course just got a new fishing rod so I don't have 1000 gold to reserve anything with. razz *starts looking for places to post like maaad..*

head north when you go to look,
my plot is 2 north, 3 east then 2 south,

Lass and I are placing our twins, and aimi together. There might be a couple spots left Rue if you want to place honnie with us. 3429 Barton, nandita and aimiliona are saving 2 spots
