Both combatants resumed their fight, Kaisho had to keep up the attacks he was doing, because now it seemed the knight was going at full strength. The attacks were now starting to shatter the Seki shields, no matter how many times he regenerated them. His body was beginning to bruise, and it became clear that the blood loss he was suffering was taking its toll. Kaisho was barely keeping up with the knight now, but still managed to parry and evade without harm. Desperately, Kaisho went on the offensive, hoping that this would finish the battle, but with his midsection wide open, he suffered a heavy attack. The knight proficiently sidestepped Kaisho’s thrusting attack, slashing Kaisho across his back. Kaisho’s teal cape was ripped completely in half, with a spray of blood staining it as it fell. Then, without giving Kaisho a chance to realise what was going on, the knight moved back to the Third Seat’s body. The knight drove his stomach through with the lance-like weapon, piercing through the other side of Kaisho’s body with a splash of blood.
Kaisho gasped. There was nothing else he could do. He was stuck there, and as the knight slowly and painfully drew it from his body, Kaisho’s shrill bellow of agony ripped through the surrounding area. It sent chills through every spiritually aware being for hundreds of meters around. Kaisho’s body slumped into a kneeling position as he felt limply to the ground; his head hung almost lifelessly resting his bloodied chest. It hurt, so much so that he could not think straight. “Is this how it all ends?” Kaisho’s thoughts whispered, “Is tonight where I meet my end?”
A tear dropped from his face.
“All of the preparation, all the training I had put into becoming a Shinigami, all that sparring with fellow comrades. All of it, for this?” He said, thinking of all the effort he had put into becoming the Shinigami he was today. He then began to see the faces of his comrades vividly in his mind. Genji, Kusari, Sadon, Zaine, Aizakku, Alder and Captain Katsurou... a few of the many names and faces that flicked through his mind like a photo album, turning pages quickly in the wind. The last thing he could remember was that of his wakizashi, the Zanpakuto he yearned to meet for so long. It was at that point he realised that he couldn’t just sit there mulling over his carelessness. It was time to show his true worth.
Just as the knight readied to strike down upon Kaisho, the Third Seat Shinigami’s spiritual energy spiked dramatically. The knight stood shocked for a moment, and as Kaisho opened his eyes with a calm expression, the knight quickly swung down, but not fast enough, as Kaisho caught the weapon with his right hand and slowly rose to his feet. He used Sho, almost shattering the knights wrist, and then unsheathed his wakizashi into a vicious upward slash, cutting through the armour and spilling the knight’s blood everywhere in front of him. The knight staggered back, looking down at the attack, but when he looked up, Kaisho stood with a sorrowful gaze, holding two fingers at his foe.
“Sorry, but I can’t allow you to kill me. I have too many people that need my help, and my Captain probably expects me to return with my all of my comrades in one piece.” Kaisho said, a sad smile curling his lips. “I also have someone important that I have yet to meet.” He added, glancing down at his wakizashi, referring to his Zanpakuto. Kaisho sighed, “I pray this attack doesn’t kill you, because it is not what I intend.”
Kaisho began to gather energy into the form of a Kido spell, and with one last smiled, uttered, “Hado #4, Byakurai...”
A shot of lightning blasted out from Kaisho’s index and middle finger shot at the knight with impressive speed and power. The area surrounding the two of them exploded in a small dome of light, and when everything clear, the knight lay in the crater; almost completely motionless. Kaisho was relieved to see that he had only incapacitated his foe, and lowered his spiritual energy. Sheathing his Zanpakuto, he limped away clutching at his punctured stomach, which was still seeping blood. He managed to retrieve his tattered cape and tied it tightly over the wound, before making his way to Sadon, slumping next to him in great discomfort.

Herieo stood dumbfounded, awestruck at what had happened mere minutes ago. A random Shinigami had charged into combat, without asking any questions. He'd went in and bravely started conflict.. Conflict that was unneeded. Things seemed even worse when two others joined in, one of them being the loudmouth that cursed him, and then his calmer friend.. Or at least he'd thought of him as the calmer half of the duo... He was capable of getting just as violent! Herieo now found himself idle beside the woman, and noticed his non-hostile nature was what allowed him to be so close. "Dangit guys! This could've been a simple waiting game... All we would've had to do, is wait for miss green oz-world lady! But.. God, there not listening anymore. Of the four of them, only one seems to be holding back.. Hitsugaya's yet to attack too. That's good. We got two sane people here.." Scoffing at his thoughts, he would come to notice the circle formation had been interrupted now.. The formation they chanted in was broken, and replaced with defensive and offensive stances. They were, obviously, occupied. "At least the main girl's safe. She's the important one.." As Herieo spoke, he kept the corner of his eye on the woman.. He and Hitsugaya were the closest to her and he'd already decided something; if any Shinigami was to confront her, he himself would have to step in. Thing is, he'd already drawn up a personnel conclusion as to what was happening at the moment: Heavenly looking knights appear from the sky within a space anomaly.. Heavenly Knights then proceed to go about there planned task, not craving interaction but being prepared for it. Random Death Gods come down to cause conflict, and halt the summoning of death-gods-don't-know-what... This story wasn't classic, but easy enough to be deciphered by a sixteen year old human. It would seem the idiot was one of the few docile figures in the case. Still, that idiot trait shined quite well; The child was stumped, and knew it. He could only watch as the Shinigami grew more and more into there individual combat situations. Quite a few of them caught his attention, speaking chants and then performing magic.. if the situation weren't like it was at the moment he would probably start drooling and hounding them to teach him the techniques of lightning-blast and jello-whips.

Kusari Korosu Squad Seven Fourth Seat and Drunkard Kusari attempted to free himself, using the car as leverage to push the knight away, but he was quickly denied that privilege and the knight pinned him once more.(16) He thought back on their previous attacks, they weren't trying to kill any of them, merely trying to immobilize them. It was now that Kusari heard the pop of his sake bottle cracking against the car as he felt a wet spot on his left leg. "b*****d! YOU BROKE MY LUCKY SAKE BOTTLE!"Flying into a rage like state Kusari forced the knight off of him, and after making sure that the other knights had turned away he grappled the man from the arms, putting his entire body into it. Kusari's legs wrapped around the knight left arm and his arms locked the right arm. "You will pay for that bottle in blood!" He continued to apply pressure, tightening his grip as he heard the knight began to scream. "Sissy, the real pain hasn't even begun yet." Then he heard it two cracks simultaniously quickly followed by an agonizing scream from the knight. (96) Kusari stood up and spit on the man. "Not so tough with two dislocated arms are you?" Kusari looked up to see the four remaining knights that had previously encircled him approaching once more. "YOU WANT SOME MORE!?" One of them began to run towards Kusari and he matched the man's actions, jumping up a moment before collision and bringing his knee into the mans helmet. He heard the visor break as a great amount of pain shot through his knee. The man fell over unconscious and sent an injured Kusari tumbling towards the remaining three.(98, 6) Again they held their weapons in the air, but Kusari had grown wise to their tactics and kicked one man's redeemer into the other knight, but was quickly met with a blade cutting him near his left hip as the knight was knocked off balance. (76,21) (((Three down, three to go, then I run.))

The space-time anomaly soon grew to a much larger size than before as the object that was being summoned into the world made half of its body visible. From the looks of it, the object was a gigantic crystal obelisk with a height of about 50 feet and a width of 25 feet, although one can deduce that its true size was twice that. At once, the summoner's voice grew even louder, causing the knights around her to act more defensively, but still retaining their roles and the main objectives in their mind. Their mission was not to kill; their mission was to only do what they were instructed to do.

Kaisho looked above and saw a huge obelisk in the sky, pulling its way through the anomaly. Kaisho could only stare in awe as the creature's sheer size, getting up painfully from his slumped position on the ground. Only half its body was visible, and yet it was still extremely large indeed. In the distance, Kaisho then noticed that there were at least two more anomalies occuring in Karakura Town, the first he witnessed here, while the other two seemed to happen on the outskirts and in another part of Karakura Town. In his tattered state, Kaisho would be nothing more than a hinderence, and the amount of blood he lost was starting to make him sway.
Kaisho turned to Sadon, laughing. "Well, isn't that always the way... I get battered to smitherines and then there's something else that we might need to deal with." He said with a grin, though he coughed and spluttered blood as he tried to laugh again.
Kaisho was feeling rather embarrassed at this moment in time. He was the first one to state that attacking the knights probably was not a good idea, and due to his loyalty to his comrades, got himself into trouble with them and engaged in combat. He sighed, turning with a stagger, as he and a Hell Butterfly opened a Senkai Gate.
"I'm going to go back to Soul Society, Sadon-san, I need to get myself checked out." Kaisho said calmly, fighting the excruciating pain. "Just make sure that you do not jump into a fight with those knights unless their intentions make you feel suspicious of them. I'm starting to get a strange feeling about this." ~~{ ...Exit... }~~

Herieo's eyes shot towards the sky, widening as they began to shake and grow weary. He felt completely out of territory in this situation. The woman beside him was still chanting, but she'd become louder. The guards, surprisingly, grew even more defensive.. The large crystal item in the sky was slowly revealing itself further and further out of the stretched portal, Herieo and Hitsugaya being the one with the best view beside the knight woman. "Dangit some'ore! That big thing could probably crush us if it fell.. Or maybe it'll act like a beacon. My sensing ability isn't the best, but it sure as heck can tell me there's more then us being active in this.. I think.. In the distance.. I can see another one peaking out!" Herieo pointed towards a rather large, and hazy, item coming from the sky. Karakura Park resided within Karakura Town.. If something went on there, it wasn't too hard to spot! Now that he was looking, he could see the exact same anomaly released from somewhere in the distance.. This also pointed out an important detail; There were more Shinigami, in similar situations! This wasn't a unique thing.. This was affecting every single one of them. "If I'm correct, the Shinigami are all pretty aggressive towards these knights. The same thing must be happening over there.. and probably elsewhere too! All the crystals are coming out, so I'm guessing there having just as much luck as us.." As he spoke, he continued to piece together information on what the hell was happening.. Slowly, but surely, the boy would figure this crap out... Either that, or succumb to whatever the heck was in store for them! "... I guess we're gonna have to keep waiting.. Nothing much else we can do that'll have any effect on this trace of events.." With that simple thought, Herieo would drop in a spiral, swiveling into a cross-legged position. With a relieved nod, he would just sit there, his head placed upwards to look at the chanting lady.. She'd still yet to pay attention to him and her loud indecipherable words weren't too easy to drown out.. It seemed, however, that she would have to stop soon.. The summoning would be over quite soon.

Sadon stood and watched as Kaisho walked through the Senkai Gate heading back to the Soul Society. Looking around Sadon can't seem to figure out why these knights are here and if they are responsible for the human life loss he was told about. Either way, he wouldn't stand a chance in a fight with them. Looking around Sadon opens a Senkai Gate and walks through it heading back to the Soul Society. No use in staying when there isn't anything he can help with .....

Kusari Korosu Squad Seven Fourth Seat and Drunkard Kusari was beginning to feel as if he was the villain in this situation as he saw the two subs standing in the middle in perfect peace. His allies had fled and he was left alone with the three idiots. He spoke to the knights, doubting they would understand him. "I give. No more fighting." The knight drove its blade through Kusari's left arm, rendering it immobile. As the man removed it Kusari shoved his tanto into his sheath. "You don't get it do you?" Another one thrusted forward and Kusari jumped up on its redeemer as it stabbed into the other knight. "Where did your other friend go anyways?" As the gunfire began Kusari's question was answered. He leaped into the air and did a front flip over the knight that had just stabbed its friend. The gun fire hit the knight and Kusari walked out from behind it with his hands held up. "I don't want to fight anymore." A few of the bullets hit him and he fell to his knees before the gunfire stopped. Kusar smiled as he brushed the hair from his face and saw the three obelisk before him. "I bet its a shield." As he looked over the three points he determined that he would be outside of the triangle and thus thought that it would be a good time to go against his better judgement and sleep. Kusari's body fell backwards as he went limp. Between the intense fight and the ecstasy of his pain it was all to much. ((( X_X Not dead, just looks like it. )))

(Hope you don't mind my Puppy-Puppet. It was to ensure you weren't raped in your sleep by a redeemer..) "Shi-.. Dangit!" The boy screamed out in the man's direction, seeing that his comrades were retreating. From his point of view, it seemed he also wanted to retreat but didn't want the knights attacking him as he did so.. He wasn't one to point out and say 'I Toldja So!', and instead portrayed the role of an emotionally effected comrade.. His eyes grew wide as he watched the guards burst forth and attack.. He didn't interfere though. He was too frozen, watching a blade slide in.. Then out of an arm. This guy was shot, stabbed, and bloody! Herieo could only looked at the Shinigami fall, presumably dead due to Herieo not being close enough to see his body. As the knights no longer had a threat, Herieo suspected they would retreat back to the original circle formation. Before they could do so and block his passage back to sitting near the girl, he would stand and sprint madly.. In his spiritual body, he was no longer a blur but.. He was actually moving at a speed where his image wasn't capable of being seen! Those without enhanced senses, or those that weren't used to following things at this speed, would be at a lost. Luckily, only normal humans weren't as adept at tracing as Shinigami. The knights, most likely, could follow his sight.. Or maybe even keep up. "I'm comin' for ya' man!" As he spoke in a somewhat serious tone, his image became visible.. he was crouched beside the body, one leg outstretched and covered in smoke from the slide he'd just performed. As he looked down at the wounded man, he squeezed his eyes closed. Lightly, he began to move the right arm, positioning it over his shoulder before hauling the body into a fireman's carry. Using his speed he made it back into the circle before the Knights could reform. As he went to sit near the woman in his previous position, he set the Shinigami body down on it's back. "I can't really do much to help ya', other then ensure you won't get hurt anymore.." Whispering this to the unconscious man, he would tap at his shoulders and legs to see if he was moving.. Luckily, he seemed to still be alive. Herieo sighed as he dug into his outfits shirt area, pulling out a phone and pressing a little red button. It said 'Med' and he guessed it might just get him some help. "I hope we can get help for you.. If not, you'd better be a fast healer!"

Following orders from the higher powers, Asuko headed towards the real world, without notifying anyone of his squad. Truth be told, he was new, and hardly knew the faces of anyone of rank in his squad, so ultimately he didn't know who to report to, to inform them of his leaving to fight in the front lines in the real world. Also, he didn't know where the captain's or vice captain's offices were, on top of that. But, by creed of his squad, it was part of his duties to help mankind. And any anomaly in the real world, was considered a threat to mankind. So off he went, blindly throwing himself into the arms of danger.
The senkai gate opened up a block away from the mass gathering of the mysterious knights. Cautiously, Asuko stepped from the portal, and onto the street nearby. It snapped shut behind him, startling Asuko to the point where he leapt forwards in shock. This would be his first experience of actual fighting, possibly. His first time doing an actual mission out in the field. The thoughts of this passed through his mind, filling him with now excitement, and fear. He trembled from both.
Asuko looked around to assess the situation. The space-time 'anomaly' which was described to him, loomed ahead, surrounded by a large group of what he guessed were the enemies. They looked... scary. And to make things worse, there were a lot of them. Asuko could find hardly any other shinigami present, either. Had he been the only one to have taken on this mission posted for everyone? Or... were all the others slain by the knights ahead..? He shuddered at the thought.
But no! Walking forwards a bit, he could see a few other of his comrades, one of them lying on the ground. Hoping that the knights would not attack him, he ran forwards, towards the two on the ground. He thought that if he lacked the fighting experience, he could at least help out in other ways. Not wanting to draw attention of himself, he did not shout to the two as he approached, but kept silent until he arrived, kneeling beside the man on the ground. He looked up at the other shinigami, and quietly spoke, "Hey! I was told that you guys needed help out here, but it looks like I-, I mean, we're outmatched here. I saw you guys, though, and wondered if you need any help?" He looked down at the wounded shinigami. "He looks pretty roughed up... I don't know much at all in the ways of healing, but is there anything else I can do?" Asuko looked up at the other man with the most sincere expression on his face. If he was to be a good shinigami, he decided that he had to care about others first, before his own glory.

"Lets see.. I think I called for help for this guy with a button on this phone...? Who knows though. I'm not too experienced with this Shinigami gear and stuff.. The phone's buttons are too small, the badge thingy has a combat symbol, and the soul candy dispenser is a cow.. I WANTED CHAPPY~!" Having given his own child-like problems out first, he felt sorta better. This new shinigami, unlike the others, he could relate too.. He preferred to stay away from conflict, but for what reasons he didn't know or care about. ".. But don't mind any of that I just said. This guy was in battle, and he took out quite a few of'em alone.. When him and friends decided to retreat, he was the last about to go.. I saw them attack full force when he calmed down. I saw how fatigued he was.. I-I couldn't help.. I'd warned them but.. They wouldn't listen.." The more Herieo spoke, the more depressed he would seem to become. His usually full eyes were now watery. He didn't know this guys name, and they hadn't gotten along from the start either.. It wasn't like they were close or anything. I guess you could say it was the moment of realization that made him feel for the guy.. He couldn't save him. At the moment, he'd been too frozen.. Too much in shock. He simply wasn't capable of performing his personnel duty.. The duty he withheld to protect the souls of Karakura Town from any threats.. Even if it wasn't the threats fault, he had to protect either losing side from the other.. It'd now been a full forty five seconds of silence, Herieo's eyes dripping the entire time.. "... S-sorry again... I think I started to trail off in thought.. I-I'm new to this Shinigami biz. It's not as much of an adventure as I thought it'd be.. Seeing these guys I don't even know fall in combat.. It gets to me." His voice was shaky for a short while, but as he spoke a slight smile began to form on his face. The tears flow slowed, and he'd wiped away the few tear streaks on his face. He looked on at the boy before him, smiling widely and chuckling for no apparent reason.. "I'm Herieo. Herieo Tenmoni.. Everybody's been callin' me a substitute shinigami, so I guess that's my title. What about you. I'm already acquainted with the fact that your not the medic team I expected to come for this man. If you don't wanna end up like this unlucky fella, then stay calm and don't attack the heavenly lookin' guys. Above us.." Stopping his statement, he would point his index fingers up, directing to the rather large crystal structure flowing from the portal below. ".. Is a very weird object Now, you see that.." Stopping again, he would point one of his fingers at the lady.. three feet to the left of them. She was chanting and ignoring them.. Glowing green and shouting to the heavens.. She was kinda creepy, but Herieo grew accustom to just watching and waiting for her to finish. ".. Is there focal point. There, obviously, protecting her.. I think we should wait for her to complete the summoning. While we wait, we can make sure the body stays active.. Just check it now and then.." He nodded to reassure all of his words, and see if he'd taken this all in so far.. Once he'd found this taken in, he could continue watching as the events unfolded.

[OOC="PILLS HERE!"] Kusari Korosu Squad Seven Fourth Seat and Drunkard Kusari was awakened by a tear drop hitting his lips. He recognized the salty taste, but could barely open his eyes. "Quit cryin' ya pansy." He forced himself up onto his knees, and as he began to open his eyes he looked around at his present company. <********> Then he looked at the army of knights circling them. "Double ********> Finally his eyes drifted to the right, and he noticed that they were right next to the obelisk. This, added to the fact that his teammates had left him behind, caused Kusari to fall back once more. "Triple ********> He thought about it for a second, the situation that is, before remembering how much of an insubordinate little ******** the substitute was. Now the kid was crying.
Kusari reached out with his good hand, lightly slapping the kid before saying, "I'm still going to kick your a** kid." He let out a sigh. This was how it was all going to end. Kusari and a bunch of new shinigami that were just learning to crawl. Some afterlife that was. At least he made it to fourth seat. His thoughts then began to flow out of his mouth. "Either they're forming a barrier or a portal of some kind. The three points." He pointed to the other two obelisk. "Will most likely connect via some kind of energy. I still don't know whether I want to be inside or outside of that field or not." He began to let out a nervous and broken laugh, "Heh heh, not like I got much of a choice anymore though." His hand went searching for his sake bottle before he remembered that the knight had crushed it. "I swear to God if they don't show up with alcohol I'll beat them to death." He spoke of course of his cowardly teammates who had left him alone with these three nooblets. He looked up at Herieo, the boy appeared upside down in his field of vision, but nonetheless Kusari extended his hand. "Korosu, Kusari. Fourth seat of the sereitei's hand to hand combat squad. Soon to be reincarnated as a pair of women's underwear." Even on his deathbed Kusari was still using his perverse and dark comedy.
