"I met him on that night." she said, though it wasn't in a sad voice at all. "I'll go to bed then, I wonder if I can sneak into Firie's room again." she ran out of the kitchen giggling.

Kristin sighed and got out of the kitchen. She managed to go to the ballroom with a lot of efford. It wasnt easy to find the places inside this vast mansion. She stood for a few minutes outside, thinking of what Rydia had said about the raid. It made sense. Other families had gotten hurt too. She wasnt the only victim of Tores. And Firomis hadnt trusted her with his pain, even though he had seen her at her weakest. Well, they didnt know each other that long to have gained his trust, but still....She took a deep breath and entered the ballroom.

Back in the ballroom, Firomis was running around trying to make sure everyone else wasn't getting too rowdy. Apparently, everyone except Firomis and Celestia had started drinking alcohol, and heavily at that. The men were all huddled in a circle, staring each other down like they were about to fight and the girls were all dancing with each other trying to get better. The only two who weren't drinking were running around breaking up the fights that were randomly being started by the men, and making sure the girls didn't severely injure themselves by falling over or falling onto something.

"I leave you all alone for a while and look what happens!", she giggled. She was good at pretending so at that moment noone could tell what she had talked about with Rydia, or if she was sad. "How did thid happen?", she kept on laughing. She went over to the twins and tried to seperate them. It proved to be more difficult than she thought. "Thats enough! Both of you cut it out!", she yelled. Her voice sounded very mother-like at that moment and the twins stood, not moving, and looked at her as if they were waiting for her to ground them or scold them.

After about 15 minutes, the room had calmed down a bit. Firomis walked out onto the balcony to look out at the garden. He took a seat and shortly after he did Celestia walked outside and sat across the table from him. "Sometimes I wonder why I joined your alliance Firomis." she laughed. "All I ever end up doing is baby sitting it seems."

Kristin leaned against the door, keeping a safe distance from them, that allowed her to hear them but not take part in the conversation.

"Kristin, why don't you come join us?" Firomis called to her, knowing she was standing around close by.

Kristin sighed but obeyed. She sat on a chair that wasnt too close too Firomis or Celestia. She folded her arms over her chest and looked the sky above.

"Is there something wrong?" Firomis looked at her for a moment, a look of worry on his face. Celestia also looked worried for her as well and stood up to walk over to her. "You can tell us, we're friends now." she smiled at her.

"Oh, nothing. I am just tired a bit", she lied with a smile. "And trying to wrap my mind around everything that happened", she added. "Really, nothing to worry about", she assured them.

"I'm going to turn in for the night." she looked at the two of them and walked into the ballroom, then off into the main hall and disappeared. Firomis turned and looked up at the sky for awhile, not saying anything.

She didnt mind silence, though she felt it was an uncomfortable one. She looked at him. The sky didnt held any interest for her, but she didnt say anything. She tought for a few minutes before speaking. "Wierd day today"

"Yeah, it was pretty strange. After what happened last night and then the things that happened today. It kind of reminded me of ten years ago." he looked out at his garden.

"Sorry again about last night. I didnt want to be a burden", she muttered and lowered her head, as if embarassed. "And I did cost much pain too", she added. "Αbout the raid?", she asked. "Rydia told me a few things about how you two met", she added. She didnt want him to think that she was looking in his past. He did it yesterday and she had felt bad, so why do the same to him when he was so kind with her?

"That night, I was hiding with my sister in one of the rooms inside the house we lived in back then. We were huddled in the peeking room, which allowed us to see what was going on, but it also allowed me to see my parents murdered right before my eyes." Firomis stood up and leaned over the balcony and looked up at the stars. "I didn't make a single sound, nor did I let Amelia watch anything that was going on outside the room we were in. After Toren left our house, and I was certain he was gone, I took Amelia and ran away from the house. I quickly put out all the flames that were on the outside, since I did the same on the inside, and prevented the house from burning down. I didn't want to lose everything my family owned back then." he sighed and paused once more. "That's when I turned around and saw her. She looked so small and fragile, even more so than my sister Amelia was. I told her I'd carry her on my back, so nodded quickly while crying about what was going on, and then the three of us headed to some place we knew would be safe." Firomis put his hand on his forehead. "Looking back, I think I showed too much courage during the situation. Seeing my parents killed before me, seeing Rydia crying all alone, and yet I never cried once. It's strange, but I guess I felt like since everyone else was crying around me, I had to be strong and protect them while showing no signs of sadness." he turned to Kristin with a genuine smile on his face. "Thank you for worrying about me, and for helping me this morning."
