Ok, our show is The REAL West Side Story and if I do say so myself, it's pretty bad a**! The Songs: - West Side Story Opener - Jet Song - Maria/Cool - West Side Story Finale And yes, I just pulled that from my music binder which I keep on me AT ALL TIMES!!! And here's our latest competition where we got our highest ranking in two years! And I'm one of the trumpets. Elder Marching Band - The REAL West Side Story

If this thread is about half-time shows for marching band, I'm sad to say that my school doesn't have one. But as far as our spring concert goes (which we start preparing for now), if I may, we're doing a classic rock theme, with a bunch of classic rock songs that I know next to nothing about (that's what my best friend is for, lol). Still, it's going to be pretty cool. I'm going to have a few Jethro Tull flute solos, so I'm psyched.

Our show theme is "The Journey Within..." It is about the process one goes through after enduring a horrific eventl The movements are: Conflict: Music is part of "Requium for a Dream" Chaous: Music unknown (we may have just made it up) Reflection: Music is from "The Prince of Egypt" called "The Burning Bush" and our d.m. has a volin solo that is heartrenching Redemption is our closer: Music is unknown but sounds very similar to the opener but with a major chord tonality instead of minor.
This show is really beautiful and once i find some sort of video of it i will post it. biggrin

Oh non rien de rien... Oh non je ne regrette rien
It was originally called 'Clockworks'. It's all original music.
They changed the name to 'The Colorwheel'. Which is a stupid name. gonk Wenn ich ihre Haut verließ, Der Frühling blutet in Paris!
