((But you do so well with them))
Leroy arrived on the floor and could see the large pillar of flame. "Mathew..." He looked over to the crankmen and gave an appreciative nod, "Thanks boys, see you when they've killed each other."
Leroy chuckled and walked up towards the group that had congregated apparently to watch the fight. "Hey Train hows the fight going?"

(I thought so, you know, everything I say in OOC just seems weird...)
Isaac felt an adrenaline rush coming on. Though it would probably not make up for Matt's strength advantage. Isaac could feel through the shaft that Matt had grabbed it, a pressure change in how Isaac had to hold it gave it away. "I wish he would stop that!" Isaac thought as he tightened his grip on the halberd, an object flying towards his face made him think fast. He let his legs buckle so that he would drop and move out of the way, swinging towards the fist to make it more difficult for course correction.
Desperate times called for desperate measures, Isaac couldn't make an effective counter attack the way his halberd was positioned. And Isaac wouldn't be able to get his halberd from Matt's grip fast enough, he would be hurt long before he got it away. As Isaac slid he cranked on the halberd, pulling himself in the reverse direction. One last pull and he let go, launching himself at Matt's back. He latched himself on with one arm around his neck and the other trying to find his identification dagger. His legs were wrapped around Matt's waist. "Where the Hell did I put it!?" Isaac thought feverously as he felt around clothing and in his vest. He sighed mentally as his fingers grasped the handle.
Train was still snickering from slapped Emma in the head, whom was still fuming herself. When he heard Leroy's voice he looked over his shoulder and then down. "From what I have seen, which is very little I think, it's very.... well... flashy. Although-Ow!"
"Ha! You b*****d!" Emma cheered after slapping Train across the face. "Leroy, good news! This guy right here and Matt are on your assigned team!" Emma said as she indicated Malkin.
(Tell me if that's too much for Isaac. I've feelin' funny tonight...)

Kid's like a damn monkey...
Matt tossed the halberd to the opposite end of the ring with one hand while he reached up with the other to try to grab at Isaac and peel him off of his back, extinguishing the flames on that hand as he reached back.
I don't wanna do it, kid, but you might not give me a choice. Don't make me burn you...

Malkin glanced at the other man with mild interest. His eyes were mostly on the fight below. He was trying to analyze the styles of the two, trying to understand the way the flaming man fought. The boy was young, agile and bold, but his expierence was severly lacking. Throwing bullets like that, he was more liable to injure his own partners like that. And jumping onto the man who has previously shown the ability to erupt into a pillar was rather...suicidal. "In all honesty, I doubt the boy will win. Flammie there isn't as fast or as agile, but he's still remarkably more experienced. And I'm not sure that was smart getting close to the other guy. While the halberd isn't a ranged weapon, it isn't a close range weapon either. And casting bullets around like that, he's going to get injured."

Leroy gave Malkin a strange look and then walked up a bit farther so he could get a better look at the fight. "Who's the kid?" He looks like the Corp. took every person that will work well together and stuck them into groups, and then took what was leftover and put us into a group together. Leroy gruffly laughed at the thought, though anyone that was paying attention to him probably thought he was laughing at the fight or someone fighting in it.

More and more people were getting in the arena as Freya sat dumbly in her corner watching the fight. In a way, she wanted to take part of it but on the other hand, she prefered to learn more about her opponent if she had the choice. The battle she was seeing though seemed... too dangerous. Though, just when it was getting interesting, the young woman heard something that caught her attention more. Turning her head to the side, where a small group of people were sitting and talking, she thought she heard the names of her teammates. She jumped on her feet and walked up to the men and woman who were there. "Sorry to enter the conversation like this. I heard some of you might be members of the Team 3, is that right? Im Freya, i just got assigned to that team.", she said in a disciplined and polite voice.

Blood roaring in his ears, Isaac was actually very worried. He shouldn't be too close to Matt, he had warned him that he wasn't holding back, which meant he could burst into flame again. The clang of his halberd bouncing off of the arena floor brought Isaac back to the battle, and a grasping hand that was not his own. And it was awfully close to his head, which worried him more considering that hand was bladed. "Time to get away. I need my halberd if I want any hope of even surviving this..." Isaac thought as he left his I.D. dagger on the side opposite his gun's position in his vest.
Isaac had let himself lower on Matt's body to avoid the hand. He flailed then, getting the lower half of his body to swing outward. As he brought his legs back in he drove at the back of Matt's knees, hoping to make them buckle. Anything to get time to get away. He was quite the acrobat, but he wouldn't be able to avoid Matt's wandering hands forever, especially if he tried to swing around him and use him like a springboard.
Train glanced at Malkin, "Meh, so long as he doesn't die I can fix him up well enough for him to get to Kimiko. I hate her and her goodie-two-shoes-ness, but we can fix most everyone. And the kid's not doing that bad, probably thinks that Matt will hesitate in lighting him on fire. And since he's not heartless, he will hesitate." Train explained. His temple almost throbbed at the newcomer. They never said anything about Team three. If she was guessing at groups then her search would take forever, though a feeling nagged at Train's brain that said this girl may have lucked out.

"If I was training with someone and they asked me to go all out, I wouldn't hesitate to crush them. Better me, then them. Better anybody but the others." Malkin said coldly, his voice shifting into a slightly demonic undertone. Shaking his head, he heard another voice speak to him. Turning to the girl, he tilted his head. Pretty, and rather lithe looking, but if she's on my team, I hope she's heartless. If I go, they need to drop me fast, he thought to himself. But then again, we could hurt them. The boy should die for his foolishness. They should all suffer for everything they've done. They spurned y- Shut the ******** up. Malkin crushed his thoughts ruthlessly. The shadow hadn't spoken in forever. But he had managed to live through it on his own for years, and would continue to do so. "Nice to meet you Freya. My name is Malkin." He didn't know what to say. She was pretty and he had a hard time at the moment holding his demon down. And he was also trying to remember Kimiko. He had heard the name before, he just couldn't remember where from.

Kiro watched carefully, studying Issac's movements. He wanted to get a good idea of just how strong and agile he was and how well he could adapt in battle. Hmm... Kiro thought, his left hand rubbing his chin. Kiro took a deep breath...
"KID YOU'RE ON OUR MY TEAM, BETTER NOT MAKE US LOOK BAD! SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT!" Kiro shouted loudly across the arena at Issac who was busy doing battle with Matt. Kiro then sighed. "That should be enough motivation." Kiro said, dusting his hands together like he just did some dirty sort of work.

"Nice to meet you too.". Freya felt a little stupid now. After the rush had cooled down, she realized how abrutly she approached them, it wasn't her sound so rude. An unpleasant feeling made her look around, like her mind wanted to distract her from this awkward situation. Her eyes wandered back on the fight, where things seemed to be going toward an end. " If that guy can't defend himself without his weapon, he's lost already"

Matt felt the blow connect with the back of his knee and he toppled to his knees.
Alright, so maybe I lied. I am going easy on him, but I don't wanna burn the kid to a crisp...
As he came down he twisted and rolled, coming around so that he was facing Isaac again. He came up on one knee while allowing his hands to ignite once more into brilliant flame. He swung one flaming hand in a knifehand strike aimed for Isaac's center

Kait idly twirled one of her double edged throwing knifes as she watched the action in the arena below. Her feet thrown up onto the back of the seat below her, slouching down in her seat lazily. How she wished that was her down there. She felt restless and had to heartily suppress the urge to get up and start pacing as she watched. Sitting still had always been hard for her, not a strong point. Her bright blue eyes glinted as Matt fell to his knees. She felt her pulse quicken as his flames ignited. But the excitement was not of arousal, as some of the other women who swooned watching the men fighting. It was the fighting, the thrill when one man would go down and in that instant you waited for the opponent to deliver a ruthless and crushing blow. This fight was long, she could see that although Isaac was certainly talented, Matt was holding back.
Kait was a recruit, actually almost ready to graduate. She had done her share of hunting on her own, but this was going to be for the Corps now. She wanted so badly to see heavy action, the thrill of the fight, satisfaction in the kill. As much as her body yearned to jump from the seat and get to work, go exercise, do drills, hit someone, she forced herself to stay in her seat. Reclined as if she had no other care in the world, but inside her muscles were screaming to jump to action.

(I know! I know... Sorry again too.. Weekends are usually pretty busy for me, and since the end of the school year is coming, I have final projects out the wahzoo. Still, it makes me just as sad as it makes you.)
Emma glanced over at Malkin for a moment, he must have been feeling sick for his aggressive side was showing. "That's just it though, it's training Malkin. And I'm sure the boy went in under false pretenses. I could bet my entire salary on the fact that Matt didn't tell him about his particular talents." Emma was more enthused with the fight than the new people that they appeared to be attracting. Besides, they were getting responses, and learning what some of the recruits could be expected of could help later on.
She and Train both were startled a little when Kiro suddenly yelled his comment. "Kiro, let's not distract them from the battle, hmm? Obviously the kid, your teammate, need distractions from his own ally. Besides, it's rude." Train commented, though he had to agree with Kiro. He wanted a brawl, but then, when watching a fight, who wanted a calculated engagement?
Isaac cursed in his head as Matt rolled away from him, Isaac falling after since he was reluctant to let go of the man. Isaac was in a sitting position after he had rolled from his own fall. He was just in time to find Matt's hand headed for his face. Matt, having instinctively aimed for standing center mass, would find Isaac not where expected, though it had an easy solution that Isaac would have to avoid. But that required him to not get jabbed in the face first. He threw himself backwards and almost did something involuntary and messy as the blow narrowly missed his head. The heat dried out his eyes a little as he started to curl his legs up to counter. He was going for the kangaroo kick, did damage and would likely push Matt back.
Isaac's mind raced as it screamed that the kick had to be executed before Matt chopped downward, or at least that was what was expected. It was the path of least resistance and offered a hit. Isaac used his hands a little to push off the arena floor and put all he had into his legs.
(In summery, Isaac fell after Matt and got scared as he barely dodged yet again. A kangaroo kick, for anyone who doesn't know, it basically a drop kick from the ground, kicking upward. Usually this is incorporated with a roll to dodge some higher attack and add momentum to the kick. Not the case here, but it would work in theory, depending of course on what Matt does...
Now I only hope I can keep Isaac alive.

Kiro looked to Train. "Distraction? Maybe. But I could already tell he's been just iching to fight me. So I thought it would be a good way to make him want to try harder if he knew I was spectating." Kiro explained. "Ahh well. I just hope Matt doesn't kill him. He IS my teammate after all. I might have to step in if Matt loses his cool if you know what I mean." Kiro added.
Kiro stretched and then looked around at all the other spectators. Wow, there's a lot of people here. And a lot of new faces. I guess the Crops has finally reached the point where we get more and more applicants more often.
