I hope it isn'ytmassively idiotic. William Finley is THE Winslow and rocks at it! But I hope they don't cast (if it gets to that point), as Thorn mentioned...some hunk..its so OOC XD

Nah, not massively idiotic. It just happens that I have a tendency to raise my hackles at the thought that William Finley wasn't the perfect Winslow. I mean, my personal desires for him aside, he was the original and the role was written for him, so it only stands to reason that he's the one.
Jeez...I keep imagining Brad Pitt or Orlando Bloom as Winslow. That's downright scary.

I mean, my personal desires for him aside, he was the original and the role was written for him, so it only stands to reason that he's the one. Thorn Venatrix Yeah, like Gerik he'd be Bradslow or Winsloom. Ahaha, I do have to admit that'd be great for shits and giggles, if nothing else. That's true too. I just came from a lecture in which the professor said a true remake was impossible because nothing can recreate the cultural surroundings/climate/attitudes that influenced the original. You can have the characters and storyline, but not the actual remake. It was an interesting conversation that made me think of this XD

Thorn Venatrix Yeah, I like him, but I'm not into him as I am Winslow. Winslow is just so perfect for me, and it's practically impossible to beat him out. It's going pretty well. Minus the major moodswings I've been having. I think I need to be getting out and doing things as I used to, but it's so friggin' cold that it's not really a good idea to do so for such an extended period of time. Plus there's the pressure from my mom to stay home and do things, and the art stuff I'm working on. I need a vacation. Also I'm getting annoyed that there's so little PotP stuff out there. It's like, you can't just go into stores hoping for the random item and the like because there are so few, not to mention the fact that the ones out there are ridiculously expensive. And it just sucks that Winslow isn't real. Dear god, that movie ruined my love life before I even had one. They present me with one perfect fictional character and suddenly nobody else will do. Curse you, Brian DePalma, curse you! I have this strange feeling that you can never love anyone as much as Winslow. Like, even if you get married, you're husband will always be second to Winslow xD I've been having some mood swings myself...mostly due to this PMS disorder I've mentioned to you before. Yeahh...it's cold, but I don't wanna complain about it...Cold weather (hopefully) means less global warming-ness. Aww, and I guess school and homework probably isn't helping things much. Hope you feel better...and less mood swing-ish. Yeah...the only PotP thing I've seen in an actual store was the DVD. PotP stuff seems to be really, incredibly rare. Aww, you're never gonna forgive him, are you? Maybe one day you'll meet a really Winslow-ish guy, which would be the next best thing. *laughs hysterically at the thought of Brad or Orlando playing Winslow* "Bradslow or Winsloom." Oh dear, you got me literally laughing out loud. And yes...I have to say that that is a scary thought xD

LOL If a character isn't real...its oaky..for instance when I had a boyfriend, I sill thought Vincent Valentine was the hottest videogame character ever...I jut never talked about it in front of him.I'd be all "Yeah...he's cool and has a great angsty backstory and its such a romantic angsty backstory"...in my head: and he's hot too XD ninja But yeah. Fake guys (this includes live action characters like WInslow) are perfectly fine for hotness thinking. Even in Real life .
