She laughed jubilantly at Ian's reaction. It was a beautiful thing, seeing his face light up at the sight of their baby. She pulled him closer to her and gave him a warm, tender kiss. "Our little Angel, Ian." That was all she could say.

Kenna gave the doctor an appreciative smile. Her voice caught in her throat, it was the most that any person had ever done for her, besides Ian and the others of course. "Thank you. You've no idea how much this means," she told the doctor as she took the pamphlets and card. He gave her a smile in return but waved his hand as though to say, It's nothing, really. But to Kenna, it was everything.

She climbed off the table and went to get dressed, putting her best sweat pants and faded black hoodie back on. She returned to the room and took Ian by the hand. The doctor told her he needed to see her back in a month, then they would do another ultrasound and if they were lucky, they could see the gender of the baby. Kenna was hoping for a girl, she would talk to Ian later about names, but in her mind, she saw Ian and herself holding a beautiful baby girl, Lily. She smiled to herself as she and Ian made their way back to their home. She couldn't wait to tell Kasey. She thought she would be happy for them, she always seemed more the maternal type.

Kenna smiled brightly and laid her head against Ian's shoulder as they walked. She wrapped her arms around his waist, which made walking difficult, but it made her so happy. The snow was falling again, big puffy cotton balls, on their heads. It was so soft and beautiful, it made their whole situation seem perfect. It was hard to be pessimistic when the whole day had gone so wonderfully. She was a little surprised when Ian wondered out loud if the rest of the group would have a hard time accepting it. It would mean Kenna would have to eat more and definitely more often. That would be a bit of a hardship, but somehow, she thought it would work out fine. Maybe there was a place she could go to help get food? A help place for pregnant girls who didn't have much. It was possible, she'd have to look into it. "I'm sure they will accept it just fine, sweetheart. After all, our baby will be a part of the family, we will all love him or her and take care of him or her together." She could not bring herself to call the baby 'it'. It didn't seem appropriate.

Kenna smiled brightly at Ian. "I love you too," she told him as she kissed him gently and softly in the pouring snow. It was beautiful, everything about this was beautiful. She took him by his hand as they walked through the doors of their home. she shook out her dark hair and pulled her hoodie off and hung it up to dry. "When do you think we should tell them? Now? I bet they are up now."

Kenna looked down thoughtfully. She hadn't really considered the idea that someone might totally be against it. If so, she had no idea what they would do. She bit her lip and looked at Ian. "I-I don't think they will, but, they might. Let's just hope they accept this. I can't imagine life without their support. And yeah, we should go raid today. We need more than we have right now."

Kenna smiled and nodded gratefully at Ian. She was exhausted, it was amazing how quickly she ran out of energy. "You're right, baby. Let's go lay down. I'm really tired," she told him, stifling a yawn at the end.

Kenna smiled and kisses Ian gently as she laid down next to him, wrapping her arms around his waist. "I know honey. I know," she whispered as she cuddled close to him and closed her eyes, a smile playing on her lips.
