Miluiel felt her face growing warmer. She could feel, and practically see his feelings. She could feel her heart racing, trapped in her chest. She sighed trying to catch the breath she had lost in the silence. She broke the contact looking into the fire. "I'm sorry." she said in the quietest voice she could, but still it sounded very loud.

Azrael did the same unintentionally. "It's alright. Nothing was wrong." He said softly.
Shinn continued to look at his father and Miluiel, now confuzed over what had happened.
Azrael then laughed softly, gently. "So... what did you think of the tree?" He asked Miluiel, trying to draw attention away from the impromptu moment they had.

"It is beautiful, very soothing." The tree had seemed to have a certain pull on her. She had wanted to go to it, to touch it's beautiful bark. "It is definitely very beautiful!"

Starlight Lotus Shera at first didn’t respond to the efforts put forth by Celeron. It took a little time, but her heart began to beat wildly and with strength as movement could be found within her chest. Eventually breath could be heard coming back to her, as her chest began to move. It was low at first, but slowly gaining strength. She hadn’t regained consciousness yet, because of the fact she was terribly weak from the poison.
Her body needed time to recover, as did her magic. She’d eventually open her eyes to find that Celeron had his lips to hers. She did not fight it, as he was probably trying to help her breathe earlier. Her consciousness would fade again as she blacked out only for a short spell till she had enough strength to hold consciousness firmly by the hands.

"Thank you for your help Veral. As much as I hate to admit it sometimes hunting demons leads to severe injury and death of the innocent. A chance to save one or two is always welcomed." Celeron said thankfully.
"Miss are you okay?" Celeron said turning his attention to Shera.

"It was no issue." Veral said. "I am happy to have helped." Veral leaned against a wall next to one of the totems, in the dim firelight, Veral's blindfold could barely made out, as there were no windows in the house to signify that the morning was coming. Veral then looked up. "You know my name?" He asked. "I must have a reputation that I didn't know I had."
Azrael smiled and nodded. "Yes... it is quite soothing to be near it. It gives a sense of tranquility." Azrael looked up at the ceiling. Around this time, he knew, the werewolves that had been out during the night would returning home, and the other werewolves would be getting up, about to face the wonder of the forest reborn.

"It is," Miluiel nodded. "I thank you little Shinn for showing it to me." She scratched his ear smiling down at him. She laughed at the confused look on his face. "Don't worry Shinn, you didn't miss out on anything."

Shera didn’t respond initially, but eventually she would wake up again as her energy had restored enough to let her wake up. “Frightened he will return.” That was the first things out of her mouth as she shuttered. She would be scared if Kokoro would return from the dead to come after her again. Her eyes had almost changed again but they remained their blood red state as looked at Celeron. She’d shiver a little not from being cold, but her fright being that great.

"I have traveled through many lands in my quest to slay the forsaken. As such I have heard rumors and tales of many kinds. Not many people in teh world match you lad." Celeron said as he smiled to Veral. "I apologize if I was to personal but my curiosity got the best of me so I wanted to see how you would react to the name."
Celeron turned his attentions back to Shera and smiled.
"Do not worry my dear. That things body was purified in flames it will suffer a horrible fate greater then any we will ever suffer. I have never seen a demon return to the mortal coil after such a thing." Celeron said as he put his hand to her face comfortingly. "I know he hurt you but you can release that pain now."

Shera shivered again, but this time with a different feeling as Celeron placed his hand on her cheek. Why did he make her shiver? Was he someone she was falling for? Could it be possible? She wondered how after only a short time. True she was used as bait to lure Kokoro out, but why was she falling for Celeron? She had so many questions within her mind as she finally stopped shivering and just moved her face into his hand almost wanting to feel his touch. Her eyes would close then as she lifted up her right hand and placed it over his saying only a simple thing, “Your hand, it’s warm…”

"You have gone through a traumatic event and you have not fully recovered from the cold yet." Celeron said as he smiled warmly. He looked down into her eyes ans saw something he had seen before. A look of adoration after helping to save her life.
"I know what you are thinking Shera." I live life on thhe edge of death many of my days. You wouldn't want that kind of life." Celeron said warmly trying to not hurt her.

“I’m already living that life Celeron. I live it everyday that I am a healer. My powers are sought after. I know not why. It might be better I go with you. Death follows my life, because of the demons that trail me for my powers. They seek them for the chance that they might survive the war. I don’t want to continue having to aid others, if I cannot do it happily.”
Her words were of the truth. She looked at him carefully hoping he understood her. She’d then lean up and kiss him on the lips to help him understand her feelings that they were just adoration. She had truly fallen in love with him. It wasn’t for rescuing her, or putting her in danger. That she was already in, and she could have fallen in love with anyone that rescued her. She’d pull back from kissing him as she looked at him again speaking softly.
“I didn’t fall for you because you rescued me. I fell for you because of who you are here.” She’d indicate to his heart showing that this was the person she fell in love with. The person inside of him.

Celeron's smile faded. The person inside me? The person inside me is a killer dear lady. I am a bringer of death to those that hunt those that can't defend themselves. In the process many people around me die. As it is without Veral's help you would have died today I am sure." Celeron said coolly. "I can understand you are in danger but my life brings me right to those that would seek to harm you."

“It doesn’t matter, I still fell in love with you. I’m sure I would have survived somehow. I don’t doubt the things you say, but even if you told me not to follow I would. I can’t help it. I fell in love with you, maybe I will be the one person that won’t die on you.” Shera smiled gently as she hugged him. Her hopes were that he understood that she wasn’t someone that would die so easily. She survived worse battles than this one. The illness that changed her had killed her, yet she was brought back from that. “Listen, I’ve died once before my heart completely stopped and they managed through magic to get my heart going again. My appearance changed that day to what you see now due to a poison that attacked my body due to a jealous demon. I won’t die that easily and stay dead.”

Celeron nodded.
"I can stop you you say? You don't die easily? I used to say these things in my youth as well. Very well you can come along but only because you have been warned. When following a path of bloodshed you are opening a path of tears and regret." Celeron said as he hugged Shera.
