Lucius smiled and called out. "Yes, I am here!" He said to the man at the door. "One moment, if you would please!" He said, he sensed that it was a vampire and proceeded the pulls the shades down on the windows and went to the freezer and retrieved the sealed box. He set it down on the coffee table and went to the door. He opened it and saw Vincent there. "Please do come in!" He said to him with a smile.
Zack smiled brightly and bowed to Adelle. "A pleasure to meet you miss." He said to her. He turned to Cooro. "Yes... but we also get werewolves too mind you. You must understand that Lucius is trying to mediate the current conflict and prevent it from escalating. Though we also get people who want to learn magic." He said.

Cooro's eyes gleamed with a certain type of joy. "And how does he do this?" Cooro asked softly, "Does he provide housing for them when they visit? Wouldn't that begin conflict?" Cooro tapped his cheek and grinned. "Fascinating." He said. "And how often does he teach his magic, I would think it was dangerous to teach all people who come looking."

Ollie's grandmother, Lisette, opened the door as quickly as she could. She peered out the front window for a moment, bewildered by the handsome boy standing there and opened the door, a kind smile on her wizened face. She was wearing an apron and the smell of cookies spilled out the open door.
"Hello. May I help you?" she asks. She sensed an uneasiness from him. Lisette almost felt as if she somehow knew him. She thought back on what Ollie had told her about her evening the other night. The man that had walked her home. Lisette's kind smile grew into something else more genuine. Still, she waited for him to answer her before she asked any questions.

Zack shook his head. "Uh... no... he doesn't provide housing, and even he did, none would except it. He's been trying to garner all information he can get, he only sees one guest at a time, that is his policy. He tries to get both the vampire and werewolf side of the issue in order to puzzle out what the unbiased truth is. The only exception to the 'one at a time policy' would be if a generally accepted leader on each side needed to meet to hammer out some sort of truce... or if that is impossible to try to mediate their arguments. That's all he really can do without picking a side, which he will never agree to."
Zack grinned. "Oh, don't worry! They're scheduled appointments from students he already accepted. He is can tell very quickly who is responsible, and who will abuse their powers." He said to him. "He's a very idealistic person, he calls himself something of a passive sentinel, trying to keep those who are not involved from being harmed by night creatures... even though he used to be one."

"And it is nice to meet you, Zack." Adelle gave a slight bow, before turning to Mara "Well they do reside in London; not to far from France at all. We get rumors, but it is the general idea among many of the Nosferatu in Paris that members have been dispatched. This bothers me deeply, ma soeur. I have nothing to harbor against the Lycan race, but while I am here, do I have much choice otherwise?" a despaired look crossed her face, as she took a seat at the kitchen table. Her gray eyes hit the floor in contemplation.
"Oh, hello." Somni smiled nervously. "Would Ollie happen to be home?" he asked, admiring the smell of fresh baked goods. The elderly woman seemed so kind hearted; warm and fragile.

"A very smart man your master is." Cooro commented. "The luxury of having both sides is quite an amazing feat. I wouldn't mind having that sort of access to the story, but being a vampire myself I am enemy to werewolves." Cooro sighed, "But that is how it goes I suppose."
Mara sat down beside her. "So the conflict is more prominent here then is it?" Mara's eyes phased to a sober cloudy butterscotch. "I thank you for coming, but I do not want you to stay against your will." Mara smiled halfheartedly at Adelle. "I only hope that it won't get bad enough that Cooro and I must leave." Mara cast Zack a glance before looking back at her sister. "I don't think I could leave now."

"I want to stay with you. It was getting boring in France, and you both are the only family I have. If something happens here, I must be with you." Adelle smiled, laying a pale hand atop Mara's. "It will all be fine, I am sure. I can't imagine the wolves doing anything worth this level of scrutiny."

"I suppose its a luxury... but Lucius does work very hard to maintain his position." Zack said softly. "I don't think he sleeps, but I know that he gets very little rest at any rate because of it. He has work, then lessons, the trying to sort out this whole mess. I don't envy the work, but I wish he could rest for once." He said. Zack turned his attention toward his eggs and finished them off. He looked back a Cooro after taking a gulp of milk. "Mara tells me that your a doctor. Do you have a specific field?" He asked.

Mara smiled at her sis. "Thank you, you know I'm sure that we are happy to have you here with us. It has been a very long time, if only it were for a better reason."
"No, not really a specific field. You see I have been around a very long time, so is far as medicine I can do anything that is needed of me. I do surgeries, deliver babies, stand be one's bedside as their mortal hearts fail. There is a great many things that I do."

Zack looked at Cooro with a look of admiration. "Wow, that's really cool." He said. "You do good work, sir. And to work so well with humans... I guess I know where Mara picked up her kind ways." He said with a bright smile.

"Why, no, she's at work right now." Lisette smiles a little more at the young man and steps out further onto the porch. "She works at a little book store a little further down the street." She gives an all knowing smile and moves back for the door. "Would you like a cookie? And if your headed that way, mind bringing some to Ollie for me? She likes them warm."

Adelle frowned. "There is always a better reason. I am here to see my dear family. It has been far to long."
"Of course, ma'am." Somni gave a smile. He was beginning to warm up to Lisette. He stood awaiting some form of container, wondering what Ollie would think of him; A stalker? A friend? Perhaps more.

Adelle enjoyed the warmth, or whatever of it an immortal could feel. She closed her eyes softly and held her friend tight, over-joyed to be back with those she could trust. "Now, would it be possible to get accommodations for the night? I don't mean to pester you, but I am a bit fatigued. Mon Dieu, that ordeal with the sun left me drained. Luckily Cooro was there to help me."

Cooro nodded, he had been monitoring both conversations. "Feel free Adelle, I would in fact hoped that you were staying with us during the day. It would be suicide for you to do otherwise. You always have a room under this roof, for protection or otherwise."
Mara nodded, "Yes of course. This is your time to rest after all. Would you like me to show you a room?" Mara asked as she felt a new sort of energy course though her. Mara winked at Cooro, "He quite an amazing guy. Would you mind Zack, if I showed my sister to her room?"
