Kamui remained in the comatose state as he seemed be recovering chi at a very slow rate. His body however remained in its chaotic state. His mind played the message left to him by Aoi to not die and that’s what he was doing. He was fighting to come back from the coma to her. He didn’t want her to feel alone.

Cooro could feel his daughter warming up. He wasn't sure for how long she had been so cold. Had it doen damage to her mind?" The doctor worried so. He didn't want to bury his only child. "You have a life full on opportunity." he told her with a smiled. "Trust me."

Thomas remained outside the door. He whispered something to the cross on his necklace, smiling when he had finished. He opened the door and lay the necklace on Bella's forehead. "Well, doctor, I need to go somewhere. Look after them for me, will you?" He said to Gabriel, heading to the door as fast as he could. "And maybe open the windows? It's nasty in here." So sorry, dear, but I hate hospitals. But you won't mind if I leave for a little bit, right?

Cooro watched the strange boy place a cross on his daughter's forehead. "Thank you, and I will watch her." Cooro said watching the boy leave. "Mara who is this boy you hand out with." he shook his head. He placed the cross aroudn her neck and wrapped her again in the blanket.
Mara thought she could hear Tom's voice. "Why are you leaving?" she asked softly. "I wanted you here, but if you must." She fell silent, and relaxed, asleep again.

Aoi and Cooro had their hands full as it was. It was tireless work having to take care of Bella and Kamui but they both managed. Some time passed as she took care of Kamui. Her heart began to feel strange as she kept calm as she kept his forehead cool. It was almost like her master when she was alive when she took care of him. Her heart began to beat slowly faster at the thought as she looked into Kamui's face.

Kamui continued to fight for consciousness till finally it seemed his fever broke. His body had enough sense to let him regain. He’d finally gain consciousness as he looked at Aoi. He would reach to squeeze Aoi’s hand as he smiled at her. He wanted to protect Aoi at all costs, but he couldn’t speak yet.

Thomas cringed at Bella's request. Can't stand hospitals. But, I don't want to leave you. He reentered the room and sat cross-legged in the corner by a sink. "Well, so..." He started to say, scratching behind his head nervously. "How's school been?"

Gabriel watched the boy enter again. He then began to speak to his daughter he could only guess. "Why are you so nervous?" Gabriel asked.
"I don't want to keep you." Bella said softly, "I know you don't want it, but I am happy when you are near." she sighed, her face glowing with a rosy fever.
Gabriel called for another bowl of cold water and a rag. "How are you talking to her?" Gabriel asked. According to her body functions she was still asleep, very deeply asleep.

Aoi smiled down to Kamui. Suddenly she had the image of Sheena's lips pressing against his and she blushed when the body easily responded. Sheena's face turned bright red as embarrassment emanated from Aoi.
"Oh...I...Uhmmm....Aoi stuttered unsure what happened as she straightened out.

Kamui only smiled as he looked at Aoi and was unable to talk still. His body hadn’t healed enough to let him yet. He would instead squeeze Aoi’s hand gently. He’d eventually find his voice as he looked at her. “Are you alright? How’s Bella? How are you holding up?” His voice came out hoarsely, but his concern was for the others than for himself.

Sheena's heart beat faster as Kamui squeezed her hand.
"Try to reserve your strength. You went through a lot Kamui-sama." Aoi said as she finally calmed down. "Miss Sparrow and I are fine."
Aoi put her hand on Kamui's face to not only feel the warmth from him but so he would not look toward Bella. Aoi had a feeling she would pull through but she did not need him worrying about her well being when he needed to rest. It was one of his worse weaknesses always putting others above himself.

"Ya see, I just talk to her, and bam! She just talks back. It's really quite interesting," Thomas replied to Gabriel sarcastically. "Drink lots of water, kids." He said, trying to sound helpful. His nervousness made his voice sound very frantic.

Lyon smiled and plowed his way through the snow keeping even with Damiane. "I do not think that we are far... no we are close. We shall be reaching pavement soon." He said looking into the snow space in front of them.

Damiane's foot hit something hard and solid beneath the snow. "How I detest this artificial garbage." she grumbled. "I honestly have no idea where to begin, but I can tell you I sense some odd energies coming from that direction." She pointed towards a large hospital.

Gabriel looked from one to the other. "It is very interesting." Gabriel contemplated the thought. "Do you think it has anything to do with that cross you placed around her neck?" Gabriel asked looking up at Tom from the cross on her daughter's neck. "What have you done to that cross?" he asked Tom. Gabriel rose an eye brow. "Are you alright sir?"
