OMFG! my parents heard them before and don't mind. well, they've only heard the mellow ones. ehehe. so, i'm good if I don't blast the music. I do that sometimes. If I do get yelled at for blasting, I have an mp3 player to listen too. ninja yeah, so I'm good. xp

my parents just think it is dpressing but i am sooo much happyier when i can listion to them......actully since i have not been able to listion to them i have had more thoughts about suiside

my mom is cool with LP but my dad doesnt like there screaming.. just to piss him off... i play it really loud to fill the whole house with my sweet sound system ++Reanimation Live Forever++

When most parents hear LP, and their lyrics, they believe that it's depressing, and dark. They tend to think that their child/children are being suicidal and such, thinking alot about how worthless they are, or w/e. I know a few parents who think that, and their kids, some who are depressed, some others who just enjoy the music. My parents just think it's another hard rock band with lotsa screaming people in 'em. xD

darkemo my mom thinks they kick a** because mike is part flip i think...well they are popular in the philipines I really don't think Mike is Filipino. He's Japanese, and.... *searches on Google* Yeah. Japanese. I dunno actually. Hopefully you're right. I'd be SO happy =]

My parents think they are cool at certain days but other ones they rip the cd out of the cd player and yell at me for listening to junk!JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!I wanted to kick their asses for saying that!

Umm... yeah my dad listens to country music and classical, so when I all excitedly put in meteora for him, thinking maybe he'd enjoy it (it's complex music, I thought he could appreciate that), he grimaced through one song, then started berating me about that filth I listen to and then continued to inform me that I didn't fit in with the crowd that listens to that 'distorted crap'. My mom, probably just because she likes to be completely unlike my father, allows me to listen to it, blast it, whatever, and has even like 2 person moshed to it with me XD. Doesn't really matter what the parents think though, it's pretty damn hard to screen what I listen to, I do what the ******** I want so nah nah.
