You know, that's a really interesting point on both fronts. Sex, when you're doing it for the sole purpose of creating life, is a wonderful thing. Hell, even when it isn't it's pretty good. Sex should never suck. Okay, well maybe sometimes, but I digress...
Sex in and of itself is indeed strange. If you don't think so, record yourself once and play it back. It's always good for a chuckle... lol

I actually do it (videotaping) for 2 aspects, I find it quite amusing to watch a performance of the sexual kind, maybe I am a bit into voyeurism, but really, who isnt?
The other reason is for analysis, as a male I do have my pride, and try to improve and learn all the time, the most important rule is that every person is different, and the key is finding the things each person loves, thats why a good comunication, and a keen sense of perception are invaluable, but I mostly videotape for the former reason.
I guess its one of those things one changes over the time, when I was 15-17 I was quite prude, 17-21 was an age of discovery and 22-27 has been an age of discovery and pushing boundaries, who knows what i will be by my 30th...

I think that people who are 14 who want to have sex are total whores, but I'm kindof biased. My ex as of 4 days ago was 14 and we decided to be abstinent together until her 16th b-day. But it got a bit harder for her later on... keeping her hands off me that is. Also, I couldnt imagine being a prude 16 year old. I know some, but I couldn't IMAGINE being one.

I guess in the end its just all about what is in each persons heart, or rephrasing it, each one matures differently, some at 14 are way more matura than i currently am, so can you really blame them? In any case Goddess, I am sorry you broke up 4 days ago.

You're right, Ives. Everyone does mature at a different rate. But also, abstinance can be seen more in some cases as a sign of maturity than being ready to have sex.
I think I was ready for sex way before I actually did it. There just wasn't anyone around that I was even remotely interested in sleeping with. And then, when there was, I just... didn't want to. I felt like at the time, it wasn't the right thing to do. NOW is an entirely different story, though. wink

I agree, absitinance can also show a by-product of maturity: "commitment" which is kind of weird nowadays.
But i am intrigued, why is NOW different in your case?

Yes, I am rather intrigued as well, even though you just logged off. Also, please dont call me Goddess. Even though its part of my name, I'm a boy. But thank you for your sympathy, I do still love her...

Goddess_of_Sacred_Blood Yes, I am rather intrigued as well, even though you just logged off. Also, please dont call me Goddess. Even though its part of my name, I'm a boy. But thank you for your sympathy, I do still love her... I usually refer to people on Gaia by their screennames, usually just so because its a self imposed name, so I tend to believe thats what most people would like to be called, but by any means, do you have an alternate name/nickname you would prefer to be used?

Not really. Goddess just makes me sound... well its almost like calling me a queen. You see what I mean? Also, since she left, do you want to switch this conversation to pms?

Hah... Sorry... sweatdrop Sleepy...
Back to the earlier comment I made... Now, oddly enough, I'm in a committed relationship with someone that I'm more than happy to sleep with. And it's already been made perfectly clear that if I ever feel otherwise, I'll leave.
Committment's good, though. It makes what would otherwise be a, for lack of a better term, "booty call" something more special. I sleep with him because I want the relationship aspect that comes along with it, not just because he's close and convenient at any given moment. It's a nice trade, if you ask me.

Sure is a great trade, but I wouldnt call it a trade, U would perhaps call it a simbiosis, because its not like artcles you are offering, its more like both living better thanx to the other, and yes, sex without any sense or feeling is kind of empty, from time to time it can be exciting, but it grows boring a little too fast for my taste, splashing it from time to time is OK, but not that often, as opposed to having someone you at least have a friendshio with, it gives it a whole different perspective, and even boundaries, so I think it is a lot more than a good trade xd.

Did I say trade? Sorry... I have a way of sounding a bit cold and.... clinical at times. The way you put it was a lot more of what I was actually thinking. I completely agree. Casual sex is like a good sweet potato pie. It's really good in moderation, but it gets cold too quickly, and too much could make you sick.
