You know you study languages too much when you're translating a pre-translated song (From Japanese, to Engilsh) into Czech, because of a method that you learned from studying German.

Have you ever had a dream in another language, but it's a language you're not so familiar with, so everyone's just saying hello and goodbye and asking for directions? D:
Cause yeah.

...whenever some one uses a certain verb tense, the name of the Spanish tense you would use screeches through your head. For example, when someone says something like, "I used to take Band" I would be all like "IMPERFECT, IMPERFECT!" xp

I've dreamt in Swedish before, and I know very few words. So in my dream I was constantly correcting myself. >< Franglais is very common here. 3nodding My grandma speaks Swenglish with my great aunt (grandma only speaks English, great aunt only speaks Swedish, but they understand each other just fine. It creeps people out.) You know your obsessed when you are doing an exam and can't understand a sentence because it's not in the language you are learning. O.O (I almost failed)

Proudly_Jewish ...you know what franglais is. domokun I think most language teachers tell their students not to use online translators because that's what you get from them. Pistil That first one I can't relate to. I think that refers to how you can have your browser preferences set so that on sites that allows you to choose languages it defaults to French if the site offers it.
