Kanis nods, "I know it is not bad but it doesn't taste too good." she laughed and then smiling brightly laughed at her sister going over on her belly and she could not help but blush at the sight.
"So um can I have the meat before he drops it?"
Rhea yipped playfully and blink as he found himself startled over his sister's backside his hands on her back. Instinctively he new this was something a he was to young to catch on to but he new it was important. But he just leaned forward and giggled, "We see...bout nexsss time..Arrasss." he smiled brightly and pulled softly on her ear playfully with his sharp teeth.
Ruran turned and looked shocked at the words. "Stop it without smoke?" he looked away confused and sighed, "Water will smoke it....dirt?"

Armus laughed at Aras and Rhea's playing, and she nodded at Kanis. "Sure," she said brightly, holding out a fresh piece of meat to the blue-haired girl. "Enjoy."
Aras's teal eyes grew bright and she called out, "Armus! He talked! He talked good!"
And when he nipped her ear she squealed and giggled, though she also felt a bit of pain, which she ignored.
"Careful," she winced, looking up at Rhea again. "That kind of hurts ..."
Corrah nodded at Ruran, hiding his pleasure. Yes, this boy would be a quick study ... he had the ability to become quite good. But he wasn't going to tell him that. The last thing he needed was Ruran's ego to become bigger than it already was.
"Good," he said flatly. "Now try it."

Rhea winced and backed off of his sister quickly letting go of her ear. His own lowering down. He whimpered softly and sat near her to make sure she was okay. He must have been playing too rough.
Kanis smiles, "Thank you!" she took the meat and started to chew on it watching her sister and their training brother. "Maybe those too should partner in training...they both seem to like the rolling around."
Ruran again looked shocked that he had gotten it right and looked around grabbing a large armful he moved over the fie and quickly dropped the dirt on the fire praying it did not smoke.

Aras smiled and turned around so that she was sitting instead of laying on her belly.
"Thank you," she smiled warmly at Rhea. "I feel lots better now." She got to her feet and headed over to him, putting her arms around him to hug him so that she could show him that she harboured no ill feelings towards him.
Armus watched the two children thoughtfully. "Yes," she murmured in reply to Kanis's comment. "They do get along well ... would you mind being partnered with your brother then?"
Corrah watched silently as the fire hissed and went out, and only the tiniest puff of smoke wafted through the air. After a moment he nodded again.
"Not bad," he said again, rising to his feet. "If the fire itself hadn't been smoking, I'm not sure it would have done that. So I think we can say ... not bad. Not bad at all."

Rhea's tail wagged happily as she hugged him and he wrapped his arms around Aras' waist as his head nuzzled her shoulder.
Kanis looked down, "Well Ruran really does not like Aras...and I fear they might get really into hurting each other...he doesn't seem to care much about me one way or another so I...well I can pair up with him...but it all really depends on what you and Corrah think." She smiled and laughed.
Ruran allowed a bright smile to cross his lips. "I will work on building better fires then sir!" He smiled and moved towards the woods to look for more dry twigs.

Armus nodded and smiled at Kanis. "Yes, that might be a good idea then," she agreed. "I'm sure Corrah wouldn't mind. It would make things easier for everyone."
She paused. "And speaking of which ... we should head down and meet up with him again. It's going to be a long walk ... come on."
She rose to her feet, straightened her beret, and motioned for Kanis to follow her.
"Aras! Rhea!" she called to the children. "Come on, we're heading back down the mountain!"

Rhea hearing his name call wriggled from Aras' arms and ran on all fours towards his pack mother. He look over his shoulder and wagged his tail yipping lightly to encourage Aras to come too.
Kanis smiles and nods walking as she nibbled on her meat. "Yes we should go meet them. It can't be longer than it was up could it?"

Armus laughed. "Not at all!" she grinned, scooping up Rhea when he came close enough and nuzzling her cheek against his. "Downhill is always faster!"
Aras giggled and ran after Rhea. "I'm coming!" she grinned. "Don't you worry!"
She grabbed Kanis's shoulders as she ran past her and giggled, spinning her sister in a circle. She was full of energy now, to the point of being extremely hyper.

Kanis nods, "Oh that sounds good, so we will get there a bit before lunch and we can see mom and dad!" She blushed as her sister grabbed her. She laughed warmly and spun with her sister she held on to her shoulders and spun. "Oh your so happy today." she giggled and smiled. It was almost as if her sister had just come out of her vase again.
Rhea yipped happily and nuzzled under his mother's chin. He licked her chin happily his tail beating at her shirt.

Armus grinned and nodded. "Yeah, if they're not there yet we can make some lunch for them, or if they are then we'll all make it together I'm sure."
She laughed at the two girls, then reached into her bag and gave Rhea another piece of meat.
"No playing with this one now, okay?" she grinned at him. "Just eat it."
Aras giggled at her sister and hugged her around the shoulders. "I don't know why," she admitted, "but I have a lot of energy and I just feel really happy!"
Maybe it had something to do with the fact that she hadn't yet seen Ruran and he hadn't been mean to her, but maybe it also had something to do with waking up to a new playmate and potential training partner.

Kanis laughed, "That is all good. I am happy cause your happy!" she laughed and continued walking tearing off some of her clean meat for her sister.
"Oh well thats good it will be nice to see mom and dad!"
Rhea took the meat his tail wagging and started to chew on it but then he remembered Kanis. She didn't get any meat did she? He tried to climb up his mother's shoulder to look at Kanis. The females were rather important and Kanis seemed like a strong and dominate female he should let her eat first.

Aras grinned and took the meat gratefully. "Thanks," she murmured to her sister, taking a bite and chewing it on one side of her mouth. "I can't wait to see Mommy and Daddy again, and we can tell them all about what we learned and all about sleeping with Armus and all about Rhea and all about the training we're gonna do and how we only missed them a little bit but we were big girls and we didn't cry!"
She giggled and swallowed her mouthful, and, spotting Rhea over Armus's shoulder ahead of them, she waved at him.
Armus smiled warmly and held Rhea at her shoulder so that he could look at the girls as they walked.

Kanis nods, "Yes we can tell them that will we be just fine. And we will make them proud!" she giggled and smiled at the pup. "He is really cute isn't he? I just don't know how to treat him...like a pup or a human."
Rhea blinked and looked confused. Aras was eating Kanis' meat. They didn't need him to help them hunt and his ears lowered even as Aras waved at him.
He yipped and slid back into his mother's arms and leaned warmly against her chest as he ate.

Armus laughed over her shoulder at the girls. "Treat him like a person, please!" she grinned. "If we treat him like one he's more likely to act like one, but if you treat him like a wolf pup he's going to be wild."
She hugged him close. "Eat all you want, Rhea," she told him warmly. "There's lots more to be had."
Aras giggled at Kanis. "I think Rhea's fun," she confided to Kanis quietly. "I'm glad I can be his partner for our training."

Rhea watched his mother as she spoke his mouth moving around the meat trying to follow her words. She didn't want him to be a wolf? He nibbled on his meat thinking or trying to think things over. It was not a wolf's nature to think too much. at least not over matters like this.
Kanis nods, "Alright...treat him like a human...I think we can do that." She smiled at her sister and laughed softly, "Well I am glad you like the thought of being Rhea's partner he seems to like you just fine too. And don't worry I will take care of Ruran." she nodded.
