Liah had nodded to Sintariun. She had felt a warming sensation and watched as Gia fainted. Sintariun had run to help, dragging her back over behind Damon's strong line of protection. As Asteria automatically translated what Seirei had said to Sintariun, Liah knelt down to examine Gai. She noticed that her right arm was badly beaten up and bleeding. "I have to stop this." She muttered to herself. Taking her knapsack from her back, she pulled out a leather pouch with all her medicine in it. The bag contained a few strips of cotton, various small jars of ointment and dried leaves and raw herbs. It wasn't much, but her supplies would have to do. To start off, she tied one of the cotton strips tightly around the upper part of Gia's arm so it would slow blood flow. After doing her best to clean the wound with water, she selected a jar with a thick light green substance and dabbed it lightly onto wound. "It's to help slow the bleeding." She explained to anyone who was curious. Taking yet another jar from the leather pouch, she pulled out a clump of spider's web she had collected on the way to Tenoshi. It was somewhat barbaric, but she knew it worked well to help the wound heal faster. After spreading the web along the cut, she finally tied another cotton piece around the arm to bandage it. "That should work." She said finally, she had worked quickly, not bothering to use any of her precious numbing herb. "Thank you for healing Damon." She whispered to the unconscious girl. "We're all very grateful."

As Liah finished her last word a bug flew passed her, spinning and flinging ooze in front of, to the side of, and behind the group, landing with a loud thump and obviously dead. "Thankful but not grateful. I wasn't really injured to begin with," he said, looking back at Liah with his arm held out and he sliced through it. It poofed into mist and reformed a moment later. "I'm almost immortal till my energy runs low," he explained, turning back around to clash with another beetle. "Of course normally I'd be drained of power by now but I guess all the undeath around charging me."

Sintariun glanced up at Seirei and nodded in thanks before turning towards a beetle, seeing that Seirei was taking care of them easily, the elf for some reason felt slightly jealous wanting to be strong like that. Seeing him about to slice his arm, the elf cried out in alarm to only see that it evaporated. Confused, Sintariun grabbed his arm and felt it then suddenly let go staring in shock of this man. Uay oli bold af dwez falizd zaniwah... Seeing a beetle, Sintariun pushed Seirei away as the beetle took her down.
Wincing at the weight, the elf quickly changed into a panther hissing and snarling as her claws went into the soft underbelly of the insect all the while dodging the falling spit that hissed beside her eating the soil.

Unconscious held fast, but images of the past came up. Images of the dragons flying over Gia's head at the island she had left to come on the journey. They had warned her not to die, or so help them they would be upset forever with her. That sent a jolt in Gia's body, but not because of what was being done to her. The wings that had vanished was trying to reform, but she didn't have enough magical energy to reform her wings again. The journey to Tenoshi alone took a large majority of her magic, but that didn't matter since she trained earlier in the day before all the fighting had begun. Her body felt like a log, but she stirred slightly from unconsciousness. It'd be impossible to move though as she seemed to groan a little. Gia knew she passed out, but didn't know how the fight was still going. "The..fight?", her voice would come out weakly but enough to come out as she didn't try to move knowing it impossible at the moment not until she's rested enough to allow her body chance to recover. That was evident since she couldn't really look to see her surroundings, or if she was moved or not. To her, her entire body was numb from lack of magical energy which was only slowly restoring itself.

Seirei looked back at Sintariun, seeing clearly that knowing what he was had freaked her out, to say the least. "Expected that," he muttered to himself, forcing back the beetle with a powerful shove. "I'll explain later, a bit busy right now," he said over his shoulder, taking the offensive against the beetle and forcing it back into the others, causing a jam so they couldn't get to the others. He heard Gia start stumbling into consciousness with a question and decided to give an answer. "Your still alive with a swarm of flesh eating insects around. I'd say the fights still going good," he shouted back, slicing into one beetle and slashing another across the face, catching one of it's eyes.

If we constantly have to battle things we’ll never get anywhere. Sari thought as the beetles began to swarm into the clearing. She had only obtained a few wounds from the undead animals and she had plenty energy left to fight. As two bugs charged towards her she tried to think of a good spell to use, but nothing came to mind. As the bugs neared she began to panic. It was like her mind went blank; she couldn’t even think of a protection spell.
“Umbra sudisis.” She out yelled of the blue while squeezing her eyes shut. When she opened her eyes she saw that the two beetles had been impaled by large black spikes that had shot out of the ground. She stared at it for in awe; as far as she knew she didn’t even know that spell. It wasn’t the first time something like this had happened, but it hadn’t happened so much that she was used to it.
She was brought back to reality when she realized another bug was charging at her from the side. Jumped out of the way in time to not get seriously injured, but the bug managed to cut through her dress create a large cut on her leg. “Compos aquilus corpus.” She said. The spell would give her control of dark matter and shadows with out using other spells for as long as she wanted, it would it would also slowly consume her energy.
She created a mass of dark matter under the front half of the bug and made it ascend until the bug had tipped over. She then created a sword out of dark matter right above the cockroach and drove it through the bug. She was beginning to worry that she would run out of energy if the amount of bugs didn’t cease. She pushed those worries out of her head, deciding she’d deal with that when she began to run out of energy.

Grateful that Seirei had gotten the beetle off of her, the transformed elf turned over and snarled towards the others ready to fight for them. Glancing at Seirei once more she shook her head, she'd have questions later if they were still alive. Seeing one managed to get past the crowd and leap at Seirei, the elf roared and intercepted the critter.
She took a clawed paw and dove it into the underbelly and downward to slice all the way thru. Seeing that the winged human was gathering herself slowly, Sintariun wanted her to know she was with others and not be afraid. Making sure Seirei had the frontline, the elf went over to the human girl and gave a soft purr to try and calm her then rubbed her fur against her side letting her know that she was not alone.

Alwyn was using only one hand to fight now her other sore from its beating of the beetles. Sweat was covering her face now and so was dirt. She was at this point and time unable to even think of using any more of her energy her body was already trying to shut down. It was to the point where she wasnt paying attention to the things around her rather her only care was the next huge bnug that would get in her way. A pain went through her head and a strong sense of dejavu. She had seen this somewhere but where... she didnt have time to think about that now she hit another bug and had a moments rest. "These things just keep on comming... gotta figure out a way to stop them..." She gasped

Liah was grateful to Sintariun and Seirei. They were both doing their hardest to protect them. Damon, too, was also holding his own on the battle field. She was sitting beside Gia who was arranged on the ground to try and make her more comfortable. "The battle's still going on." She said as soon as Sintariun in her panther form nuzzled the half conscious girl. "You're safe, for now. Try not to move, your power is still replenishing." Liah's voice was soft and soothing. It seemed that because of her talents with animals, her way with words had an extremely small subconscious affect on all creatures in a way. At least, the creatures who had kind natures deep down. The affect by no means would sway any decision made by the person, it merely had the same affect as a mother soothing her child. "How do you feel?" She asked, her voice seemed to give off its own warmth. While she was talking, Asteria, who was up amongst the thick branches of a nearby tree, translated for Sintariun.

"I feel drained...", she said that, but it seemed not long after she'd stab a beetle that came scuttling a little too close. It might have thought since it saw a downed warrior to attack, but even in her weakened state she could stab it. She'd eventually slice the beetle up, but it taxed her physical energy only, not her magical. It still had her left tired as she was breathing a little heavily to be trying to use her long sword with one hand. Gia's eyes still looked dilated, but they're amethyst hue looked to be trying to glow again. It was her body's way of showing when her magic had fully returned or not, was when her eyes fully begun to glow as brilliant as the moon would shine in the night's sky. "We have to get out of this forest....something isn't right about this.....", something just didn't add up quite right about this whole thing to her as she thought carefully. She knew her blast spell made a wolf angry, but it was dispatched quickly. There should not have been this many foes this quickly, or if there was their guide held back info to those that had been present about details that he knew about this forest.

Jason started to think as he grabbed a dead branch upon the floor and swung it to keep a beetle at bay. "If there are this many, these has to be a queen nearby... If that's the case, a retreat wouldn't be a bad idea as to go another path around these creatures. For all we know, there could be thousands upon thousands of these creatures roaming around in this area alone." Jason soon lost his train of thought as the beetle grabbed hold of the branch with its pincers and tossed it to the side. As it did, Jason saw an opening and ran inwards towards the creature with an arrow held in his right hand. He quickly thrust it into the creature's neck where the hard shell and the soft underbelly met, causing it to cry out in a muffled tone of pain. Jason would pull the arrow out as he jumped back but noticed a beetle start to rush him from the side. Jason would also notice that there was a piece of a tree upon the ground, a bit levered upwards on his side and smiled. He quickly landed upon it having the other end of the trunk launch upwards as the beetle got close, impaling it through the throat and he watched it squirm as it start to die.

((Hey! bone, no spoilers! Last time I tell you anything....))
As the hordes of beetles continued to crawl in, they appeared to be getting...smaller? Yes, they were indeed decreasing in size, many with under developed shells. Its as if they were still maturing, but how was that possible?
Ramiel growled as he noticed the change in his opponents "Dammit, that b***h is hiding around her somewhere!" He said, his voice a low growl before he let out a savage roar. Taking in a deep breath he began to spew flame cross the clearing, roasting any insect that got caught in the flames path. As the flames died away few of the beetles were left standing.
A loud hiss followed by aggressive chittering soon began to echo across the clearing. Suddenly a set of tree's topped over as something flew into view.
It was a creature much like the beetles, black in collar with a hard shell near the placing of its wings, but it was also different. Unlike the beetles it remained aloft in the air, its pincher's were much smaller and its thorax was huge and pusey, but still armored, most importantly though its under belly was armored. There didn't appear to be a single vulnerable part on this thing.
Ramiel growled again "The Queen...."

Sintariun glanced up and her eyes widened in shock at the huge bug in air. Glancing around she knew that now everyone had to help or they would all perish. Watching the head beetle, Sintariun thought of something and looked to Ramiel who seemed to be focused on the enemy as well. Transforming back into an elf, Sintariun said to Ramiel and the others, E'rr zkayd, E kom jid krazi da dwod dwemj omt zii ef dwili'z omudwemj dwod kayrt pi kamzetilit o hiocmizz. Ciib iviluami em o jlayb al hi'rr pi bekcit aff.
Gazing up at the beetle once more, Sintariun started to focus her concentration on what she needed to do next.
(I'll scout, I can get close to that thing and see if there's anything that could be considered a weakness. Keep everyone in a group or we'll be picked off.)

Without warning and from above, something large came out of the trees. The travellers hadn't noticed her, she'd been waiting for the queen, knowing the bloated shrew wouldn't be able to resist. Seems we have something common, she thought to herself as she pounced onto the queen's abdomen, powerful claws digging into her quarry and letting out a bellowing roar that made the air vibrate. Her tiger form had always been her favorite, senses were sharper, she moved smoother, and frankly, she simply felt more powerful.
((.....argh!))

Seirei was finding the insects easier to kill, which made his job much easier. He wasn't having any difficulty dealing with more than one of these creatures now that they could be killed without just targeting the undersides. The queen emerging however, that was gonna be hell to fight. "Armor everywhere and significantly larger, that figures," he grunted, seeing Ramiel as the one who knew the most about this place he figured he'd leave this to him, or at least be instructed by him. Seirei was actually more concerned with explaining what he was to the elf and any who heard her latest comment. He was never fully sure what he was, just that he seemed to be like a ghost when he had power and human without. As long as his aura was there he had power and his blades had much of his energy stored in them in case he ever ran out mid fight.
