Call it a lapse in reality, something this creature was prone to, along with lapses in sanity and overall stability. The fact it was even speaking to Tori would infuriate Kain, and the fact he was being to kind towards him would actually put Kain in a rather awkward position, as control of Ha'Poultis would be a rather mighty weapon against Kain. He'd figured with Micah down there he could control the beast after it'd ripped his rude intruder to shreds...this would not bode well in the end. Nonetheless, it was what it was, and Tori had asked it a question. It'd remove it's arms to free her, but she may wish it hadn't given it'd just rip it's claws over her back as it withdrew it's arms and allowed them to and limp once more at his sides. His beady, moving eyes would focus in on Tori, and it'd finally figure out what it wanted to say and how to state it's questions. The creature's IQ was no more than that of a 6-year olds; these kind of positions made it uncomfortable.
"Why did...the Cold Man...make you come to see me? Are you here...to hurt me, like he does? Are you here...to torture me instead of him?" It's focus would then turn to Micah for a moment, and it'd form a ear to ear grin as it looked back to Tori. "If you hurt me...I'll hurt him! what I feel...he will feel! Try and kill me, and I'll EAT HIM!" The creature would let out a bellowing cackle that'd fill the vast space of the Holle laboratory, and what may to Tori's dismay, the more it cackled the more acidic saliva would seep form it's mouth as well as be flung in to the air as the creature grew excited at the thought of pain, suffering, and a meal.

Tori waved her hands in defense, hiding under a table nearby.
"No, I'm not here to hurtyou!" sdhe called. "I'm here to... to..." come to think of it, her objective was unclear... I thought you'd be more creative than a stock Bond villain, you b*****d! I'll show you...
She inhaled deeply. "I am a friend! That boy is a friend too! I don't know what this Cold Man did to you, but he is not your friend!"

"Well of course he's not a friend. Poor Ha'Poultis here was created as a toy for Kain. When he realized it was...well, lacking in intelligence and furthermore that it held power over fire that Satan himself would cower before...Kain began to cower before his own abomination. Unable to kill it, no matter how hard he tried, Kain lured this poor creature in to a trap and locked in that cage. He uses it on and off as a sort of summon to clean up messes, or as a trap for...well, naive humans like you." The voice resonating from a nearby pillar was soft, light, almost soothing to the ears. Even his snickering may feel like a massage to the lobe. The voice came from what seemed to be a young man...very young. This boy couldn't have exited his teens all too long ago, though, his body was flawless. Skin complexion, tone, shine of the teeth and gloss in his hair...he was what people struggled their entire, miserable lives to achieve. His hair was rather white, defined more as a periwinkle shade. It was cut to flow right of the cape of the back of his neck, over his ears and fall right over his eyebrows. His perfectly toned torso was covered by no more than a simple white buttoned down class shirt tucked in to a pair of black dress shoes, all held in black by a black leather belt with a silver latch. He, like Kain, also wore a pair of black dress shoes. His smile was small, but easy to read. he was happy, and obliviously right where he wanted to be. "You'll only scare him by cowering, Ms...well, miss. if he sees fear in you, his mind will race too fast form him to keep up with and he'll go in to a rage. The best way to deal with this poor creature is with an open mind and an open heart." He'd close his eyes and offer her another smile, then slowly make his way towards the aggravated Ha'Poultis. He'd kneel down in front of him and take the creatures bony cheeks in to hands that has quite literally no lines upon their palms and chuckle a bit. "Ha'Poultis you dork, what are you up to? She got you out of there, right? And she was nice to you, right? She's only been nice to you, so why aren't you being nice back? What if Kain's just being mean to her too, hm? I think you need to apologize to the nice lady, Ha'Poultis."
The creature knew this boy, and knew him very well. Anytime he was released from that prison, that boy was never far off. He was always so kind, gently and sweet...but it confused this creature as to how it looked like he'd only aged maybe five years...and the last time he saw this man...was on Earth. He'd shake it off upon hearing he'd been mean to Tori and that they may indeed both be pawns of Kain. He'd close his mouth and gulp down the acidic goo, then approach his with a few flops of it's massive feet flapping on the ground and look to her with it's eyes, though he'd hang his head. "Sorry...Tori. I didn't mean to be mean to you...I'm very sorry."
The boy would chuckle and pat Ha'Poultis' head with his left arm, thus meaning he was on the right side of the beast. His right hand would simply slide in to his pocket. "See, he's sorry. He just needed to know the situation in terms he could understand. Please do forgive him, miss?"

"I-its's fine, both of you..." she said, standing. "I panicked." she sighed. "I come in here to help and he throws me down here to die. Men." she smiled at the boy and Ha'poultice. "I'm going to take a guess, you were both engineered genetically, right?" she sighed. The boy was kinda cute. "My name is Tori. Victoria, if you prefer formality." she held out her hand for the newcomer. "And you are...?"

The moment she'd extend her hand out to him he'd remove his right hand from his pocket and curl his fingers over his right index finger and kiss her knuckles. "My name, Ms. Victoria, is Setsumei. it's a pleasure to meet you." He'd then retract his hand and chuckle as she mentioned engineering. "Ha'Poultis here was created as a chimera at first, though it failed. The souls didn't mix right and...well, it was simply a mess; the definition of failure." He'd then pat Ha'Poultis on the head and point to a troff full of various...things. The creature would rush to gorge itself in food and again he'd let out a boyish chuckle.
"I, on the other hand, was not...engineered by any scientific means. I'm simply all that you see before you...as you're about all I see before me with a quirk here and there I'm guessing. Tell me though, why have you come to this chaos-monger's castle? People die down here, you know...especially where we stand. If not of Lord Micah's presence, I doubt he'd allow any other soul down here, not even the Lady Draega." He'd stare at her for a moment, then sigh. "A trick, hm? You'd truly follow Lord Micah in to hell...you've proved that much. Please, Lady Victoria, I ask you leave this hellish castle. There's nothing here that could benefit you...not anymore I'm afraid."

"There's you an Ha'poultis." Tori said boldly. "I'm not saying I want to control you. I'm saying I, and and Seth, and especially Weayard need your help. If HEC takes over completely, then this planet is as good as dead. I've worked for them before..." she sighed. "As for Micah..." she blushed slightly. "Well, I've lost someone important to me. I trhought.... we.,... we might comfort one another. But I suppose I was wrong." She narrowed her eyes at the girl he was with getting her claws in him. "At any rate, you're right. I'm cut off here, trapped, and I can't comunicate with my friends. I need out. But I know better than to attract attention..."

"Huxley Energy Cooperation...everyone despises them so much, and yet, the world's without power thanks to acts of radicals. Their methods may be a bit off, but they learned from their lessons." He'd sigh and look to Micah and Maya. "Those two...have heated thoughts for one another, but they're both devoted to their work, at least for now. I believe it'll be the girl that makes the first move, but Micah will come back with something much stronger." He'd then look to Ha'Poultis. "And he'll just be forced to watch it all, wondering what such joy is like." He'd slowly begin to walk towards the iron door that would lead them out of the room. "Kain's security is no more than beasts and puppets. For me...they're nothing. I got in without problems, didn't I?" He'd chuckle and open the door, using an unseen amount of power to render the beast guarding the doors out brain-dead for a bit.
"They don't acknowledge you, do they Lady Victoria? Micah's moved on so to say, Kain's already tried to kill you, and Seth...well, in he end he may be some sort of savior, but what then? What will he do when he denies this world what it needs to survive? When thousands die thanks to his hatred of what runs this world, he will not be viewed as a hero and the laws and regulations, as well as the racism against U.H. will skyrocket. did you ever think you may be on the wrong side, Lady Victoria?"

Tori blinked.
"Never." she said simply. "They've destroyed too much for redemption." she followed the boy. "Even though the power is gone, the HEC was willing to build a perfect duplicate of the reactor that annihalated earth. They never set up a proper democracy on this planet. There is no freedom, only... power. Power to rule and power to break free."She walked past the gaurd, looking over at Micah with intense longing. "that b*****d always ignored me, right from the start." she said softly. "No matter what I'd do for him..." she looked at the boy... creature leading her. "I've lost everything. I... I have had no impact on the world. I can only watch as it passes by, as people fall in love around me, as I lose all I have, as others save the world and I continue to break away to die in obscurity."

He'd chuckle a bit, a sound meant to sooth hear eardrums. "Such speculation as to what destroyed Earth...people are left to assume that it was faulty designing in that reactor. The reactor Kain rid of himself...there was another reason he removed it." He'd sit down on the spiraling stairs up and close his eyes again, offering her a warm smile. "What would happen when Micah, Seth, and even yourself discovered a lack of design flaws? What if there never were any flaws, or if they were they've been fixed? what if there is a government, and it's only seen in the shadows, left to the super-power that is Kain and the public icon that is Eleck...and now Riot?"
He'd look to the sleeping creature next to the door, grinning as he saw it's internal suffering. He'd then look back to the girl. "If you can do nothing for this united Faction, and they don't recognize your talent anyways, then why not go where they will recognize you; where they make use of everyone and where everyone knows you BECAUSE you're a part of it? Why not give yourself meaning, Lady Victoria?"

"B-b-because..." she sighed. "If you look at things objectively, then yes, there's few reasons to hate the HEC. But we want freedom. The ability to choose our leaders." she looked at the ground, her hands tightening into fists. "I have friends. I won't betray them for notability." she said softly, hugging her self. "I'm.... I just feel so alone now that Izaak is gone." she whimpered softly. "I hoped.... Micah.... I... I'm an idiot..."

"People come and people go...thus is the way of all worlds. So long as you can treasure your experiences, then you can live without regret. So many, like you, simply cannot move on though, and it's...strange." He'd chuckle again and shake his head, then rest his elbows on his knees and place his chin in his hands.
"You all have freedom and free will. You're born with it; it's a gift to you from the light you first see exiting the womb. Yes, Richard Eleck was a tyrant, and no doubt Riot will be quite the little dictator his own self, but Lord only knows that's because he needs some seat of power to feel superior to Kain in, and yet, think about it: Kain removed the reactor with ease. Couldn't he do the same with H.E.C. as a whole? the answer is yes...but it's up to you to discover why he plays his cards as he does." Again he'd close his eyes, going in to a bit of a train of thought. "and what if someone truly deserving sat upon the throne of H.E.C.? Would you be happy then? Democracy failed, Lady Victoria. if there's anything these higher powers can agree on, it's the fact Monarchy must be the way to rule. You, Lady Victoria, could infiltrate and remove form seat these tyrants. Befriend them, and when the proper time comes, put an end to them. Then, everyone will know you as a hero. And you'll be able to decide what to do with your futures then. Or maybe...in your time back with H.E.C., you'll discover just who you really are."

"I won't be manipulated by you." she hissed. "Even if I'm fighting for the wrong things, they're what I believe in!" she sighed. "Just get me out of here." she looked away from, him. That intellect, that face... she bluished slightly. "I..." sahe shook her head. "Enough talk. Let's just focus on getting home so I can figure out what's been happening in my absence."

"I can leave whenever I so please. This castle was built to keep everyone out...but the precious Lord even has his flaws. Sadly, though, I'm not at liberty to speak of those. Getting you out would be no different than releasing a felon and given this is my first return to civilization in quite some time, I'd rather not have my name tarnished by such things."
He'd get to his feet and smile as he'd materialize a barrier between the two of them similar to Plexiglas, only with quite a bit more durability and a few holes so they could hear one another. "I've no mixed feelings, unlike you. You don't seem to want to actually fight for what you want, nor what you think is right. You know this world needs H.E.C., but you'd rather impress some boys or whatever. You'd rather try and fight against it with the cute assumption that's what's right. Right and wrong can be very ugly in reality, Lady Victoria, and the truth can be absolutely devastating." He'd then turn his back to her with a scoff and lift his head. "Besides. What you do as a part of this petty Faction wouln't matter. You haven't the power to make a difference. I, on the other hand, am victory in the flesh. Kain has devoted himself to these pathetic radicals...and I will devote myself to what God thinks is right. No doubt we'll meet again, but I'd like it to be as allies rather than enemies. Take care until our next encounter please, because if you do need to die, I'd rather it be by my hand so I can promise you a quick, painless death." He'd cackle a bit, a noise that was more or less like thousands of banshees shrieking. When he'd finish, six wings of light would rip form his back splattering blood all over the barrier. Two wings would cover his face, two more would cover his feet, and the final two would spread, and as they did he'd disappear leaving behind a golden feather that'd begin to burn away as it touched the ground.

Tori grimaced. Any love she felt for him was instantly lost.
You're worse than that a*****e Micah! she growled inwardly. Hoew dare you look down at us like that. Someday, somehow, I'll wipe that smug grin off your face! I swear it!
she turned and walked up the strais, leaving out the front door.

Seth stood outside the large castle waiting...for what he wasn't sure, though as soon as he stepped foot on the stones before the oversized gothic doors, he was imbued with everyone's memories for the last few days: Tori, Micah, Maya, Michelle. The last three had nothing of value to him. He finally picked up the one he needed; Riot. He flipped through all the info he could trying to get a layout of the castle, the location of his pick up and one last thing. He remembered the text he got after the call, a bonus if you will.
"God I hate this kind of s**t." Seth was no stranger to recon work as well as S&D. The latter was his specialty, but hopefully if all went well he wouldn't need to use those skills. After looking through Riot's memories he saw a bit of what Kain was capable of and managed to scope out two more rooms the other four had never accessed.. "Oh you mother ********..." AP fields seemed to be a common defense, as well as offense with this man..." Delving deeper in to Riot’s memories he’d eventually cue in on the site of Kain’s DN-Angel techniques via their training. The concept of their construction was a bit…strange, but their purpose was obvious enough. He at least had more knowledge going in to this than anyone else that’d dare try this and he could at least figure on what to expect, even if he couldn’t see what was going on in the castle at that exact moment.
Seth knew he could slide in through the cracks at the front door; a flaw to Kain’s gothic and Victorian styles…but as for how to not be detected by Mother…that was going to be tricky but he had an idea. Seth broke himself down particle by particle and teleported inside through one of the various cracks. Once inside, before reforming, he masked his brainwaves and all other readable traces, then he summoned some dust and dirt from outside; a flaw to Kain’s styles once more. He reformed very close to the door still in the shadows. Changing his skin pigmentation and hair color he then coated himself with the dusty dirt mix and moved each exact particle to reflect light a certain way, this image all except his eyes looked like a very worn out Kain. It was enough to step out of the shadows and into the main living room, fooling Mother with any luck. He didn't even dare breathe while walking in. The more he walked the more he knew. His brother’s encounter with Draega brought him to a halt for a moment, the same with Micah and Maya. He finally let the dust and dirt fall so that he could walk around normally.
His masked output levels and brain wave shouldn't have set off any alarms; if they did it was silent. Though the castle couldn't be at full security if Kain had: A.) Only anticipate Riot's arrival; B.) Been at ground level; C.) Had all these strangers in the house. He laughed; Kain had really taken to the peace treaty in an unexpected manner. Seth still had no visible plans to destroy that treaty either; this was a very in and out mission unless Kain interfered. Though the more he learned about Kain the more he realized things were not going to go this smoothly the entire mission…there was still much to be done.
