Lance came out of the bathroom changed in his formal wear. He had set his bag of Doritos on a small table next to the bathroom: he wasn't going to bring it into the bathroom with him. Now he picked them up and tried to find his way to the room. But it ended up that he went in a circle four times before he saw a corridor to the room he had previously been in. When he arrived, everyone seemed more relaxed: well except Raiden but Lance had no problem dealing the math that would cause the stress. He sat down next to the sleeping Clyth as he ate the Doritos he adored so. Then he said "So why don't we answer one another's questions? I'm curious to know a little about you all." Lance waited for a response before saying anything about himself. In fact, he wanted to try to procrastinate some so he wouldn't have to tell anyone about what he has been up to.

Raiden took the silence to his previous questions as a 'We are all fine.' Shrugging to himself, he took a canned Juice Drink off the table, a strawberry Guava and Orange drink, 'all natural' and using 'real cane sugar' instead of... Fake fruit juice and processed sugars? Pressing his thumb against the top he flipped open the can, a quiet 'pffssh' making itself heard for a good second and a half. It was not carbonated, unlike soda- Which he was careful not to drink to much of it. They didn't have anything too similar down in Home. In other words, Raiden was afraid those drinks would affect him more than a natural crust-born would be. He pulled a stray hair from his lips before taking a sip of the almost too-sweet drink, noting that Clyth was, or looked asleep.

Taking three strides across his living room, he sat in a large verdant-green Lazyboy, which brought out hints of a similar shade in his carpet, and tiled kitchen. Anything wood in his small abode was maple, stained dark. Few decorations laid around this room, and few more in his bedroom. Only the important, delicate ones were there. Pillows held coverings bearing pictures. A few flowers in a rocky land, a lone tree growing at an angle from a cliff, over a small stream, four coverings in all. All displaying life growing in hard places.

His mother had made them. Raiden shifted in his chair, listening to Lance's words. At least he had stopped breaking things. He shrugged in reply, like Raiden would speak first?

Alayah, still holding the chips out to Raiden, looked back at Lance. At first, she raised an eyebrow slightly, thinking What? then she smiled at him.
"Alright, fine with me... but what if someone wants to be mysterious and not reveal what they're really up to?" she said jokingly, glancing at the room with her eyes narrowed in a cheap impersonation of a ninja or secret agent. Her darting eyes stopped for a moment at Lance, then Raiden, then on the sleeping Clyth. "I'm pretty open," she said, thinking of only one instance that she would be reluctant to share with everyone...

Raiden waved a dismissing hand at the chips, "No, no thank you." He tapped a slender finger against the base of his jaw, musing over Alayah's reply to Lance. He would must rather say nothing, if he could get away with it. He glanced to Clyth, keeping his annoyance out of his features. HE had a way out of it, Raiden did not. And now, he was the host... He couldn't just fall asleep like Clyth did. He leaned back in his large recliner, gifted to him after the killing of- the mistake, of the Imariquan. He paid much to large of a price for soft furniture, food, and a place to sleep. And he would rather keep that story away from the ears of his guests tonight. "As long as the questions are not to depressing. I, for one, would rather here lighthearted stories tonight."

Clyth opened his eyes halfway, with a long yawn that seemed to make him drowsier. He stretched his arms before him and stood slowly. He tied his head wrap back on. He leaned softly against a wall, and looked at Lance. He appeared troubled, It was the first time he had worried about his current situation in awhile. There is A spirit hiding in my body and it can spring up any minute. He thought. The only thing he found relieving for the moment was that he was with three Imariquan, since the demon had trouble taking care of just one, so with three around him, he knew the demon would probably not try anything right now. But the question was, would he do it anyway. He remained silent, he realized how awkward it was already, why make it more difficult with trying to bring up conversation.

((*cricket, cricket* lol))

Alayah noticed the silence, then looked over at Clyth. "Yes, light conversations would be nice... nothing too deep; we don't want to intrude on our welcome here..." she said, giving a half smile. Her voice seemed to ring off of the walls. She heard the soft patter of the rain outside; it seemed like they were in a cozy cottage in an ice storm, only significantly scaled down.
Alayah pulled out a chair from the table, just enough for her to sit down. The soft crunch of the chair's wood over the floor seemed a lot louder than it really was.
"I really think that it was possibly more than coincidence that we met here... what brought you guys here...?" she asked, looking around at each of them. "It's quite something... three Imariquan and a human, along with two demons all in one decently small town..." she continued, her voice trailing off slightly at the end. She looked up at the ceiling with vague eyes that held some unseen significance.

(( *cricket, cricket, STOMP* ew.. D: ))
"Hmmm...." Raiden thought for a moment, three Imariquan, period. Would be too much to be a coincidence. He turned his eyes- more blue than green in this light, to the Human. It seemed different than the other petty people he had put up with. He ran a hand through his feathered hair; it felt on a few rain drops lighter but his brown locks were already half dry. "I went on a walk, simply put. And I... sensed one you two." Raiden half pointed with his chin to Alayah, and then Lance. If he had felt the demons at that time, would he have still gone? He leaned forward, resting both elbows on his knees. Empty hand supported his chin, the other- Holding the can, rested lazily across his leg.

"It's been a while since I've seen another Imariquan, and I have never met a Human that didn't ask what they were if the name came up." So, Clyth must of known about them already. Raiden smiled, he would have still gone to meet these people. Demons or no demons. "I don't think this all happened on chance, per say. But I don't think it was..." His voice trailed off, could this meeting have something to do with the 'Blue Flame'? No, no. Not for Raiden, at least. "And the rest of you?" Raiden gestured at the small crowd of people in his apartment.

Clyth finally decided to speak, he rubbed his arm bandage and said, "I was getting away from that minor demon that followed me, I noticed Lance following me, then that fight broke out soon afterward." Clyth said in a more annoyed then he intended. "I am not sure if you know yet Raiden, about my current problem."

Alayah decided to explain, hoping it would 'break some ice,' as much as she hated that expression. "Clyth.... uh..." she said, turning her head to Raiden. She then noticed how his hair was pretty dry already. Lucky short, thin haired people... she thought in some distant corner of her mind. If Alayah rung out her hair, it would drain like a wash cloth after a shower.
She noticed her mind going off on a tangent, then continued, "Clyth was... um... possessed, per say, by a somewhat higher level demon. It only shows its face at certain times, but it does want to kill me..." she said, somewhat lightheartedly at the end as if making a joke, yet telling the truth at the same time.

Raiden nodded, more to himself as he sat elbows on knees, slightly hunched over on his chair. His hair would flicker and twitch when he moved, dry enough to be called so already. The Imariquan didn't bother to see if it was drying correctly, it hardly mattered. With Clyth's last statement, he raised both angular brows, eyes placid, at least he had to fake interest no more. "Oh?" What ever the out come of Clyth's slight secret, he would stay neutral. Unless, he tried to kill all of them.

That would be a problem. Leaning back in the plush chair, he didn't interrupt Alayah as he sipped on his nearly too-sweet fruit drink, glancing between Clyth and Alayah with level, unchanging eyes. He took another sip at her forced laughter, a faint smile on his lips- Caused by her failed attempt rather than her words. "Well," Raiden paused to place his half-empty can on his wood coffee table before leaning back once more. "If push comes to shove, I'll protect you." His voice carried a hint of the lighthearted joke the female tried to portray.

Alayah nodded to the fact that he understood. "Yeah... hopefully we can all protect ourselves in this matter..." she said, glancing away as she said it. She still didn't know how this Imariquan's power compared to hers. It couldn't be that different, since all Imariquan are composed of the same basic DNA structure. The comparison might be made between the power of Imariquan and the athletic abilities of humans. Alayah thought no more of it as she looked back after a minute. She turned her head back in the general direction of Raiden, but didn't meet anyone's eyes. She saw that on her dark purple shirt, there were darker flecks of rain scattered here and there. Alayah could no longer feel the damp cool of the rain. Most of it was evaporating.
With her index finger and thumb, Alayah reached into the bag of Doritos. Her hand came back from the chip bag with one lonely chip. For a minute, she inspected it for lack of interest. It was a light orange color with clumps of darker orange with brownish seasoning. There were minute pockets of air that had been fried into the chip. Black specks were scattered underneath from the tortilla chip base. She took a nibble off of the chip and glanced around to look at what everyone else was doing. She felt the need to start a conversation, but anytime she tried to start one, it diminished shortly after.

Raiden could of sworn he heard crickets chirping. But he assured himself- It was just him. "Well, hmm." He drummed his fingers against his leg, sipping lightly on his fruit drink. Now what? It almost reminded him of the calm before the storm. Sure, right now it was quiet but... No, no. He was just getting paranoid.

Standing up quickly, too quickly; for all the blood rushed away from his head. Causing him to stop, blink and wait for the dizziness to recede. "Where do the rest of you live?" He turned and moved away from them, and once in the kitchen he opened and quickly, almost frantically searched through different drawers until he found a small lock box. Reassured that it was still there. He hid it back away. "Can I get you anything, while I'm up?"

Clyth was getting somewhat annoyed, they seemed not to care that he would take damage for the demon if a fought broke out. He looked out the window, it was the same as before. Cold and pale. Clyth leaned harder against the wall, not showing his frustration.
PostPosted: Mon Nov 03, 2008 4:59 pm

Alayah noticed Clyth as he gave almost a sigh in the corner. She looked with a blank expression at him for a moment, while there was a bit of comfort in her eyes. She kept on giving herself the notion that she was trying to please everyone... but herself.
She looked at Raiden in the kitchen, hearing a soft scraping of smooth wood upon wood as he quickly closed a drawer in the kitchen. Alayah thought it was a rather sudden movement, almost nervous, but she said no more.
"I'm fine, thank you," Alayah answered. Then she turned her attention to his previous conversation, determined to make his conversation efforts worthwhile. "I actually don't live in the urban area of the town; it's a very small, two room house somewhat near the woods. I don't particularly like the city; it's way too busy for me. I really like the house, even though it's not on the nice side... What about you guys..?" she asked, looking at Clyth and Lance.

Lance had been staring simply into deep space not moving at all just thinking when he heard what Alayah had said. Quickly, he shook his head and turned back to the conversation. He picked up a can of Coke and said "I live here in the city but I usually just walk around. As for an exact address, I live in the North side where things are a little brighter and quieter. My house isn't really anything to awe at but it's still pretty nice. It's two story but I don't know what to do with it. There isn't much furniture but a few beds and a couch. Also, it has a kitchen but ompared to what the house could provide, it's nothing." as he popped it open making sure not to take the opener off. He liked to flick it, when he was done, with a friend to see who could get it off first.
