Kairina was ready to right out punch Terra, but she used all of her will power to restrain from it. Letting the villagers see her punch someone would make matters worse. She knew the girl was lying through her teeth, they were rebels, and that just made her blood boil. " You guys just love ticking me off don't you, you all think I'm stupid!" The mayor snapped staring Terra straight in the eyes. She wasn't being loud any more, she hated talking loudly. "You guys are just as clueless as I ever thought, you truely know nothing about me or what I have gone through. You have never experienced what it is like to be mayor, to have all of this power!" Kairina's voice was turning into a growl and her eyes were blazing with fury. Her short temper was showing again, and she wasn't the best at holding it in. "So just shut up you a**holes!" she yelled in their faces before taking a step back and sharply turning around sending her long hair flying around her head. "Aki, lets go! I have more important things to worry about then two girls trying to get rid of me." she said crossing her arms and shaking her head. A headache was beginning to form in her head and it was becoming a huge pain. The mayor wanted to get this protest over with more than anything right now, but she had to act quickly or else she was sure the two demon girls would come back to annoy her. Turning one last time to the crowd she stood up straight and stared hard down at the people. " This protest is over, I know you here still in the crowd are very angry but yelling at me won't solve anything! I rather you come up to me face to face to talk about it without using violence, like civilized people would!" she yelled listening to her voice echo off the surrounding buildings. Not waiting for any more arrogent replies the mayor jumped down from the building she was standing on and began walking down the streets with an angry gleam still resting in her eyes. Behind her some more of the crowd angerily began to dissperse.

Carys could do nothing more than stare at Ray in shock as he explained her job. By the time her mind was working enough to form a coherent thought, he was gone and she had no other choice than to obey. A lump formed in her throat as she slipped out of the crowd, carefully avoiding any curious gazes that turned her way. When she got to the edge of the crowd, she took a left turn into a small alley that led in the direction of her home, turning again and catching up with the end of the collumn of police. As she melded into their ranks, she turned around and headed back to the riot, ignoring the cries and orders of those around her. Several police followed, eager to get a chance to see what would happen. Finally she got back and scanned the crowd, her eyes quickly finding Ray. "For the mayor and for justice!" she yelled, just for effect and fired the shot that Ray had ordered.

Valeda watched everything from where she stood among the ranks of police. At this point, the officers had their men calm enough to listen to the mayor's speech without harrassing anyone. So in the end they all began to leave. She decided that Kairina didn't need her there anymore and she wanted to interogate some of the police, so she went with them. But about two blocks from the protest, the last two or three lines turned and headed back. "Hey! What the hell do you think you're doing?!?" She took off after them, running, but they heard her and picked up their own pace. By the time she got there it was too late; one of the idiots had shot a civilian. "s**t," she muttered. "That's not going to go over well."

Amnity loaded the galil assault rifle, smashing the hammer back as the gun made a faint click. She turned her head to the crowd when she head a gunshot that wasn't hers. A policeman with a familiar voice fired at Ray. But she stayed there silently, unless an actual police man had shot at a pedestrian, she wouldn't budge. Now the protesters were getting reckless. After seeing that Ray had bee shot, they began screaming and chanting at the top of their lungs, some even tried to knock some of the riot control over.
The soldier only chuckled a bit. As her eyes scanned the crowd, her chuckle immediately subsided. "Laviatar!" She gasped as she saw the blind woman wander into the protest. F*** F*** F*** F*** F*** F*** F*** F***!!!! Trying to calm herself down, she stayed in the shadows of the building. Nothings going to happen to her... Amnity thought to herself as she aimed her rifle at no one in particular, And if there is...I'll just shoot them down.

Amnity stood up, throwing her assault rifle down. Laviatar didn't need to press the alarm for her to know that she's in trouble. In a rush, she jumped on the fire escape in the side of the old, abandoned building and slip down the ladder. The soldier inconspicuously draped her jacket over her pistols as she tried hard to look like a regular citizen. Amnity ran to her blind friend's side, helping her up to her feet.
"Are you okay? What are you doing?! I told you it's dangerous here!" Amnity scolded, but she could never be mad at her. With a sigh, she held her shoulders. "Let's get back to the apartment...And will you please stay there this time?" Amnity led her back to the apartment.

Amnity wanted to storm out of the aptartment and shoot the idiots that ignored that blind woman in need, but she calmed down when she noticed that Laviatar was upset. The soldier eased her grip on her pistol and left it on the table as she entered her room. Sitting on the bed, she placed a gentle hand on her friend's shoulder. "...You aren't an idiot Laviatar...You love the sun on your skin and to hear children play...But you have to realize that Sarit isn't that safe anymore... People have to fight to protect the peace..." Amnity said, then she smiled. "And I'm not mad at you...I just can't can't stand you being hurt anymore...Understand?"

"My, my, what a temper." Terra said laughing. When they heard the gun shot they weren't surprised, because they recognized Carys' voice. What a clever plan. Aiva thought. "C'mon, we're going to go after the mayor." She told Terra before jumping off the building and flying. Terra followed nodded and followed her. They landed lightly in front of the mayor, and once again they pointed their guns at her. "I would've thought you were polite enough not to walk away from people when they're talking to you." Aiva said before firing her gun. She aimed for the mayor’s chest, but she doubted it would kill her; if elves were as strong as demons, she could easily take or dodge a bullet.

Before Carys made the shot, he had started his speech. If no one was looking at him, it wouldn't be very dynamic, would it? "It seems my words have fallen on deaf ears! At least, I now know our mayor wasn't listening! I wish for us to SPEAK UP, not wage war! These 'rebels' she speaks of, are even her excuse for tightening up the laws on inspecting the goods we work on, that are causing our 'hard lives' to become even HARDER! I have yet to speak of resorting to violence, and I'm now being labeled as a rebel! Because I choose to think for myself and voice my opinion! If comments and negotiations with those in power actually worked to solve anything, we wouldn't be having this protest, would we? And she has not promised us any resolution to our current problem! She hasn't spoken a single word on the matter! Everything she has said has been nothing but an attempt to end the protest! I refuse to be silent, even when I am being branded a villain by the mayor herself!" Slowing down, he finally raised his clench fist, and slowly yelled word by word "Now! IS! The TIME! TO-" And then came the bullet. The bullet hit his chest, and threw him back out of the tree. It had worked perfectly, as people rushed to him, the riot was back to step one.

Kairina's temper began to rise again once the two demon girls placed themselves back infront of her. She knew they weren't going to let her go, but she wanted to get rid of the crowd before dealing with the two. Once they both rose their guns her shoulders stiffened but her legs were ready to move when they shot. The mayor heard the shot go off, and swiftly but gracefully, moved to the side dodging the bullet. Standing back up straight she stared at Avia with tension growing inside of her. She could tell that they knew shooting a bullet at her wouldn't do much, it seemed as if they were playing with her to get her angry and it was working. Pulling her hood farther down her face with one hand she reached for her gun with the other. She just held her hand there though, knowing that pulling out the other gun and shooting would cause the other twin to attack.

Aki had moved to the side of the roof, partially to watch the riot and also to start to flank one of the twins. She heard both shots, and saw Ray fly back. "No..." she murmured, looking for the shooter. "Kairina, your police just shot the one from the tree..." she said quietly, knowing it would be heard by both the twins and the mayor.

"Now it is my turn!" Dro'ki thought to himself as he shifted to his demonic form and begain to chant. "Whispers of the spectrum I call for your presence, lend me the use of fears in spirital form lend me the landscape of a desert storm, trickery of vision upon those of weak will aid my allies and the feast of mortal fears shall be my offering for this request. Dro'ki's markings bursted into blinding light, he hefted his arms to the heavens with open palms as the air around him warped and twitched. "Begin your feast!" A beastal roar echoed from the depths of his chest as he clenched his fist tightly and leapt into the air and slamed his forearms into the pavement and the warping air expanded at a alarming rate engulfing the near by crowd within the warped field the world changed to a dense sand storm howling winds and blasting heat that were but products of the mind of those within the field falling prey to their own thoughts each now being hunted by figments of fear.
