Since he was following the instructions of his newfound friend, he was sprinting as fast as his little body could go toward the door and completely missed the wave Xavier directed at him. His only thought was to hurry fast enough so that no one would see him out on the snow-covered lawn. He couldn't do anything about the telltale footprints, but he secretly hoped that anyone curious would assume they were from the others who had been out earlier. At first, he had been hesitant about Charles' instructions; the foyer he knew was the most likely place in a building to bump into someone, but he figured that Charles would know more about the place and its routine than he did; maybe they were all elsewhere at the moment. He reached the large entrance doors and, making himself as flat against it as possible, eased one of the doors open. He paused and let the warmer air chase the chill away from his face and arms, then he carefully slipped inside and eased the door shut. He sighed and smiled, then he turned around and saw Professor Xavier. He froze, not knowing that this was his friend Charles, his eyes going wide. He felt his breath coming up short, but he managed a small squeak. "Oh no."

Shandra tilted her head to the side as she watched the gas first come and then disappear fairly quickly. She smiled a little.
"It would seem that we both have evasive powers," Shandra said as she watched the Professor go to the main doors just as it peaked open.
It had stayed open for a moment and she and Blade had been told by him that they needed to leave for a moment because their new visitor was apparently skittish.
Putting her finger to her mouth in the universal sign of being quiet Shandra started to work on calming her body down as she reached out to grab Blade's arm.

By the time they reached the Brotherhood place Sarah was ready to ride the pro courses. She wasn't really but she felt that way. She shut off the snowmobile and removed her protective gear like Victoria. With a cheerful hup she bounded off the machine and stretched ready to take on the world. She grinned back at Victoria. "Should we make out munitions now?" She asked looking at all the snow around them. She couldn't wait to pelt some poor unsuspecting B-hood member as they came out. She'd go in after them if her common sense didn't reign that thought in as a very bad idea.

Her ears twitched as she heard the sound of snowmobiles come into the driveway and stop over the blasting television. "We don't know anybody with snowmobiles...I think." She blinked and sat up, her ears tilted forward as she turned down the television. Now she heard the voices of three females. Getting up she went over to one of the windows that looked out into the driveway and peeked through the blinds. There were three girls, but she had never seen them before. "Oy! Lance, you know these chicks?" She yelled out to the kitchen while her cat-like eyes stayed fixed on the females.
Kara didn't wait for an answer. Instead she shifted into a small calico cat and went out the flap in the door that had been installed for an old member that had had a dog.
The little calico walked over to where the girls were and made herself known by letting out a loud mrrping sound at the females. She sat down and watched them, her tail swishing snow from left to right behind her.

Rebecca was staring at the mansion when she heard the mrrrping sound Kara had made to let them know she was there. "A kitty!" Sarah being Sarah of course carefully stepped over towards her trying to coax her over. "Aaawww...she's adorable..." She said carefully looking at Kara. "No collar though..." That of course wasn't going to stop Sarah from making a pet out of her.

Blade blinked in surprise when Shandra grabbed her arm and motioned for her to be quiet. With a faint nod, Blade decided to go with whatever happened. It wouldn't be the first time Blade was just along for the ride so she prepared for what was to come.

Tilting her head she backed up a couple of paces from Rebecca. Her nose twitched as she sniffed the air, catching the scents of the females infront of her. She knew these girls were mutants by the way the smelled. All humans may have different scents but there was a base for them that was all the same. If the basic scent was different in any way Kara could tell if the person was a mutant just because of that slight difference in smell.
The Sarah girl had that glint in her eye, the same one she had seen before when someone saw her in the form of a house cat, they wanted her as a pet and since she had no collar they probably thought she was a stray. I really need to get myself a collar... She thought as the amber eyes she donned as the calico were fixed on Sarah. Maybe if I had turned into a cougar she wouldn't want me as a pet...

The tingle that told her everything was being activated come on swiftly as she gripped, not tightly though, onto Blade's bare skin. It would only work if she touched another's bare skin, it was harder to 'take' people or animals invisible with her than it was to take an inanimate object with her.
When she was satisfied that they were both covered she spoke up, "Well now that they can't hear us but we can hear them...I just wanted to let you know that I wanted to find out who this guy is, you can stay if you want to...otherwise you can go and the sense-blanket around you should fade as soon as I let go."

Blade tilted her head in question. "That's pretty cool, but won't Professor Xavier get mad at us eavesdropping?" Blade ask as she watched the boy. "Then again, I suppose it's for the best if we are just here to protect him in case he gets attacked!" The runaway mutant smiled brightly at her reasoning.

((The Rebecca girl doesn't have a glint, though the Sarah girl does wink ))
Becca looked as the cat approached, eyebrow quirking. Well-groomed cat outside, stray? Possibly.
"It's friendly," she said as the cat neared. "Or rabid.."

((Fixed ^^))
Rabid?! Kara thought as she growled at Becca. Her tail twitched in annoyance as she turned her head away from Becca and trotted over to Sarah, rubbing up against the girls ankles then turned her head and glared at Becca.

Shandra smiled, "Yes...we'll go with that last one. Besides he won't know, he looses track of me all the time cause even my mind blocks everything. It's actually really hard to lower that defensive wall...and when I do it seems like I interfere with my short-term memory."
She laughed slightly, darkly almost, "And I'm sorry for blabbing, it's actually kind of hard to stop at one piece of information or lie when I 'take' someone with me. But anyways...let's just keep an eye out alright? Just make sure to keep skin to skin contact with me or the 'invisibility' shield will break away from you."

"Hear that?" she exclaimed as the cat hissed. "Be careful Sarah, if it bites you you have to get like, ten shots! And they're supposed to hurt a lot!" she said, scooping up a handful of snow, forming it into a ball.
"Step back Sarah, I'll scare it off," she said, making a movement of throwing the ball to show what she wanted to do.

"Well," responded Victoria, looking up at the building before them, scoaping it out almost. She had been here before, but it had been a while. "I figure we just hide out here and pelt their windows for a bit, until one of them gets pissed enough to step out onto the porch, and then we'll pelt him. Or her."
Shrugging a bit, Victoria quietly navigated herself around the snowmobile to the other side of Lance's cheap-a** jeep, so she could get a better look at the place. It was still very early in the afternoon which, knowing them, meant the Brotherhood residents were still stirring around inside, sipping coffee and/or booze as a wake-up. Sidestepping a bit more, there was a soft meow, and Victoria had to stop herself from stepping on a rather friendly calico cat.
"I wouldn't touch that thing," said Victoria easily, and stooped down to ready herself a nice, fat snowball. "Like Becca said, it might have rabies. Or it might be a trap."
===
"There is no need to be afraid," chuckled Charles, noting the wide-eyed expression that fixed its self over Owen's face once he slipped through the front door. "I am the one that invited you in, I am Professor Xavier, or Charles, if you would rather call me. If you're still up for it," he continued, gesturing loosely to a parlor just off from the kitchen and foyer. "My offer still stands."
((OOC: Lady K, and Mariana, did I guess wrong but are the two of you just off of the foyer somewhere? I'm trying to work some mention of you guys in this post. Can edit if needed.))

Her tail twitched in annoyance and she looked up at Victoria and narrowed her eyes. Now she remembered where she had seen these girls at school...they were Xavier's student. The Sarah girl didn't seem that bad but she didn't like the Rebecca girl or the Victoria girl. Though Victoria had it on the mark, it was sort of a trap.
Ah might as well mess with them seein' as how they're trespassing and all.. Kara walked a few feet away from the three girls and shook herself as she shifted into a full-grown cougar and snarled at them, her ears laid flat against her head and her large fangs bared. She took one step towards them growling low in her throat.
