[Sorry! My mom made me come in early last night.]
Isabella looked at the food thoughtfully as Benji expertly prepared them. She hated hot dogs, so that was out of the question, but the cheeseburgers looked pretty appetizing, as she hadn't had any real beef in a while. "Thanks, Alex," she said, smiling sweetly. Henry could've been a little more gentlemen-like, but she didn't really mind, since he got Rain some food anyways, which also looked delicious. "Um... Just a cheeseburger with ketchup would be awesome. I feel like I'm ordering you around, though," she added with a laugh. Isabella watched as Henry went to get a drink for Rain and smiled. The atmosphere here actually wasn't as bad as she had thought it would be. And there were less bugs around, too.
Cameron laughed as she threw down her cards. "I told you I suck at this game," he commented meaningfully. He didn't mind losing to her, it wasn't like it was at something he was good at, anyways. As her stomach growled, Cameron realized how hungry he was too and gave a small laugh. "Sure smells like it. Want me to go down and pick up something for you now?" he asked, already on his feet and looking down at her for a meal request. "I could pick up my food too and eat it here with you."

Rain smiled as he got her food glad that he put the stuff on the side. Taking the plate she said, "Oh Pepsi is fine with me if they have it or if not then anything. Thanks Henry." Smiling as she spoke she turned to Isabella, "Its fun to have men trying to order around other women is just to complicated." Enjoying the time and joking around she was having more fun than she thought she would be having, she hadn't even contemplated running away once since she went exploring.

Henry nodded and got the soda for Rain. He then skirted the fire and came back to join her. Normally, he wouldn't have wanted to be told to be chivalrous, but it was cool to hang out with Rain, and she wasn't ordering him around or anything. He opened the orange soda with a most unexpected result. It exploded and managed to get not only on himself, but Isabelle and Rain too. His first instinct was to say sorry to the girls, but he couldn't help laughing as he pushed his wet bangs to the side.

Rain was still in a bubbling mood when Henry came back and she took her soda however started with a sharp intake of breath with the pop exploding spraying her and the others in a cold liquid. Wiping the liquid off her face she flicked it off her hands before she started laughing and grinning, "Alright you asked for it." Taking her already rattled pop she shook it swiftly a few times before popping it open in Henry's direction though she didn't quite succeed with her aim and it back fired as well.

((Sorry!! I've been really busy lately!!))
She grinned up at Cameron even though she was still embarrased by the noise her stomach had made. Odori was glad that he didn't find the need to comment on it, though she would have taken it good naturedly if he had. That was just her personality. She focused again when he said that he sucked at the game and she merely smirked. "There really isn't any way to be good at a game like this. It's more about having good luck than anything." Picking pu the cards, she shuffled them slowly in her hands, her hands moving expertly over the worn deck, before she looked back up at him. "That would be great; getting me something to eat I mean. I wouldn't mind a cheeseburger, if you don't mind, and maybe a bottle of water?"
Alex blinked at the smile that Isabelle sent him, before turning quickly away and moving to get their food. As he thought about it, he hadn't really had a girl smile at him so sincerly before, let alone one with such a sweet disposition. Smiling slightly to himself, he grabbed her cheesburger and a hotdog for himself, as well as two cokes. She hadn't asked for anything to drink, so he hoped she liked this. If not, he could always go get her something else. As he turned around, he came back just in time to see Rain open her drink and spray it at Henry, some of it going past the other boy and getting him as well. Smirking, he merely shook his head to get it out of his eyes, before bringing Isabelle her plate. Setting his down next to hers, he took his soda and swiftly shook it up, before popping it open and spraying it on both Henry and Rain, a wicked glint in his eyes. "Watch where you aim that thing," he said, grinning. Obviously he was amused.

((Sorry I haven't been posting..busy with school you know..))
Miranda couldn't help but laugh at the whole soda spraying situation. She only had a few drops of soda on her burger, but she didn't mind. There were a few new campers present that she didn't get introduced to. Apparantly they seemed to be having fun with the soda.
((Why do I always have writer's block in this story? crying ))

"Wow, thanks Henry," Isabella said, sarcastically, but not angrily, even though her clothes were permanently stained in orange. She accepted the food from Alex quickly saying thank-you and laughing as she pushed her wet curls behind her ears. Taking the soda that Alex had brought her, she added to the chaos by shaking it up and down and popping the top open. Soda flew everywhere, but she aimed it as directly as she could at Henry and Rain, curls falling over her face as she giggled, watching as Alex's rain of soda fell upon them as well.
Cameron smiled at the reassurance from Odori. He listened as she listed off what she wanted, the food suddenly seeming even more appetizing than it had been before, if that was possible. He rose to his feet with a small grunt, his knees sore from being against the hard, tile floor. Before Cameron left, he hesitated over Odori. "Alright, I'll be right back, okay? Are you going to be fine by yourself? Do you need anything before I leave? Want me to bring the nurse back in here?"

Benji's mouth fell open. Ah, the horrors of restless teenagers with shaken up sodas. "Stop that!" he protested as he witnessed the third soda explosion. He got up from his seat next to Clarissa and headed over to the troublemakers. Clarissa didn't seem perturbed by the chaos at all. He got the feeling she didn't want to play counselor either.
"Hey!" Feeling brave, Henry quickly ran over to the ice chest and grabbed two lemon lime sodas, shook them up, and popped one open in Alex's direction, spraying Isabelle also, and one in Benji's direction, getting Ayumi and Miranda. Wow, that was really effective.
"Ahhhhhhh!" Benji said, raising his hands up in a make-shift shield. But his shirt was now drenched with soda. He gave Henry the look, ignoring Ayumi's screech in the background.
Henry shrugged apologetically as if to say 'Well, what can you do?'. "At least it wasn't grape...?" he offered. "That stains you know." Man, Rain's attitude was infectious. Wasn't it just noon that he was sitting by himself and Odori held his notebook captive?

Trying to shield herself from the spray of pop and not fall at the same time Rain was near tears from laughing so hard but when she tried to stop she caught Benji's face and burst out laughing again. Rain hopped to her feet with an infectious good mood oblivious to her shirt sticking to her from the water and pop as she ran, despite a limp, to glomp Henry. "That was fricking amazing!" she declared hugging him from behind for a split second before her momentum propelled her around so she landed slightly off to the side in between Benji and Henry still unable to stop her laughing as she looked to Benji, "God wheres a camera when you need one. Your face was priceless." Despite her mood she was almost proud of Henry for breaking out of his shell some.

Miranda rose from her seat and accidentally dropped her small piece of cheeseburger after being sprayed with lemon lime soda. As much as she hated getting her clothes messed up, she sucked it up and laughed instead. Eager to join the little party, Miranda took a lemon lime soda, and started shaking it. Almost immediately, she starts walking towards Henry.
"Now it's your turn!" She says in an evil-ish voice.
After a few more shakes, Miranda pointed the can towards him and opened the soda top, drenching Henry.

She couldn't help but to smile over his worrying, finding them more amusing than anything. He was acting like a mother hen. While others might have found it annoying, she thought it was kinda cute, but that might have had something to do with the fact that she'd never been close to her parents, so they hadn't acted like that with her. "That's alright. I think I can handle a few minutes on my own. And you don't have to eat with me if you don't want to. Go ahead and eat with the others and when you're done you can come back here."
Alex blinked in surprise when the soda hit him, before throwing his arms up to block it from hitting him in the face. It didn't even occur to him to cover Isabelle, so he wasn't surprised when he turned around and saw her covered with the soda. Laughing, he hurried forward and around Benji and Rain; reaching the cooler, he pulled out two more cans of pop, one grape and the other sprite. So the grape would stain...oh well, that's what camp was for. Tossing the grape to Isabelle, he shook the sprite up and popped it open, spraying it on Ayumi, Miranda and Clarissa. "Oops..."

Isabella quickly caught the grape that Alex tossed her, eagerly watching as Miranda joined the fight. She watched in amusement as Rain hugged Henry, while shaking her can as forcibly as she could. This would no doubt ruin her shirt, but it was already orange, so what could purple do to it? She popped open the top, holding it and aiming it at the cluster of Henry, Rain, Benji and Miranda. "Take that!" she cheered, feeling that Alex and her were a team. Isabella laughed again. Camp certainly had brought out the messier side of her.
Cameron smiled, not realizing that he had been so protective. He was tempted to ask if she was sure, but then realized he was probably talking to much. "Alright, if you're sure," he said, stepping towards her and looking like he was going to say something else. Then he stepped back and turned to the door, looking at her over his shoulder carefully before walking outside. "I'll be back soon, okay?" he said, finally.

Henry laughed, surprised, as he was tackled by Rain. It was so unlike her. Maybe his soda accident had lead to something much bigger - obviously a soda war, but also a chance for some of them to open up more. He wasn't given much time to contemplate this however, because Miranda had sprayed him with her soda. "Oh come on, I'm wet enough already!" he laughed. He made no futher attempt to fix his hair, and grabbed two tropical punches, one for himself, and the other he handed to Rain.
Ayumi screeched again as Alex's soda sprayed her. "Hey!" Her curls were now completely flattened - oh well, she was going to shower later anyway. She quickly jumped up from her seat and ducked for cover behind the log she had formerly been sitting on. She wanted to join in the soda fight, but she was never one to break rules.... Wow, she was being really anti-social, hiding behind a log while everyone else was having fun. But it couldn't be helped. If her parents heard she was involved in something like this, she was pretty sure she'd be grounded until she was 40.
Clarissa screamed at the top of her lungs like she was being attacked as she was soaked. "ALEX!" she managed, gasping in shock. Her eyes, which were running mascara, were wide and blinking rapidly as if she could barely believe what had just happened. Which was true. She didn't remember being this insane when she was in high school. Well, it was time to fight back. She took her already opened diet soda and tipped its entire contents over Alex's head.
Benji just laughed. "Okay, I can see I'm getting nowhere here." Mission aborted, he ran over to the ice chest himself. "You know what they say - if you can't beat 'em, join 'em." With that announcement, he sprayed Miranda with a Pepsi while she was distracted with soaking Henry.

Rain was still laughing as Isabella's pop came showering down and as she took the drink from Henry. Everyone, possibly even unconsciously, took sides in the war. In truth this was the most fun she had ever had. No beatings no having to look over her shoulder. This captivity was as close to freedom as she had ever been. Shaking up her pop violently she ran to Alex where Clarissa was and opened it in her face, "Been wanting to do that all day." she said with a grin and a laugh as she shrugged making another run toward the cooler. Even limping she moved pretty quickly, a skill she had naturally developed as she didn't differentiate between ice and pop cans as she scooped some up in her arms going on the retreat. She had a plan for the ice she got.

Drenching Henry with the soda, Miranda laughed from amusement but found herself getting soaked by Benji's Pepsi. She put her bangs behind her ears so they won't get in her eyes and ran to the cooler to get a pepsi. Shaking it up, she walks to Benji, points and opens the can in his direction.
She would have never suspected that her first night in camp would be the most enjoyable night in her life. Simply put, this little soda war would beat all the fun times she had during her house parties back then.
