Arilam stared at the Twin Fruit in dismay. 'How much magik did that thing take from me anyway?' In the last hour, the fruit had grown to nearly triple its original size, now the size of a small bush.
'How big will this thing get?' Arilam wondered to himself. He magiked over a large flat rock from the edge of the forest and placed the plant on top of it. He felt his magik slowly absorbing into the plant's roots, and the plant's stem grew a brighter shade of green.
'This plant will become really problematic at this rate.' He turned back toward the ship and started walking as the plant wobbled behind him.

The HieroSphinx hovered over a clearing, the soft hum of the vessel’s operating systems barely audible. Sanura sighed as she began to put down and reached for a switch. Her stomach dropped as she unintentionally bumped a small lever. The Sphinx lurched forward in its previously slow descent, dropping through the short distance to the ground in a matter of moments. Landing with an ungraceful thud Sanura cursed as she disconnected the braces that wrapped around her ankles to keep her standing in flight. She could hear the hissing sounds of air being released from pressurized impact resistors. Quickly glancing at the screens as she removed her stuffy jacket and stiff vest she assessed the damage. Nothing major, the systems still checked out on screen and the Sphinx was sturdy despite her lightweight build for speed.
Shaking her head Sanura grabbed her multi-tool out of the pack hanging on the wall along with a pair of goggles just in case she needed it. As an afterthought she grabbed the goggles as well, looping them around her neck to keep them out of the way. Walking to the rear of the Sphinx Sanura opened the door to the haze lock she had built into it. Her last experience with the haze had taught her that although the Sphinx’s inner workings could run on her flames, its interior design and paneling couldn’t take the heat of the haze induced flames. Securing the firewall she opened the main door face to face with large tree trunk. She didn’t even need to try to summon a flame to burn away its massive hulk that blocked her door. Air from outside flowed around her and the flames ignited. With a little concentration she directed the hottest flames to the top of the tree to prevent it from collapsing on top of her ship.
The fire made short work of the tree and soon she was able to jump to the ground, her feet sending its charred remains into a flurry of ash around her flame wreathed form. Coughing she waved it away, brushing off a small bit that had settled on her capped sleeve black shirt. The material of all her clothing was magically flame proof, a feature incredibly convenient for a temperamental fire mage.
As she circled her ship she frowned. Her sudden change of direction had put her right up against the trees. They would have to be cleared if she was going to be able to take off without crashing or damaging her ship. The Sphinx was even wedged right up against a few, though there was no visible damage. She sighed with relief; Sanura hated it when the Sphinx got scuffed up. It was undignified after all. She leaned against the hull, controlling her breathing as she adjusted to the haze filled air. Slowly the flames intensity died down with the added control until they were little more than a flicker of heat around her body. She almost shimmered like a mirage with the concentrated warmth, but at least it wasn’t as distracting as having a bonfire constantly dancing freely around her.

"Wow. You are a gutsy one. Here, you can have the bike I brought down here." Darrin tossed the blind man the keys, knowing that he would catch them.

Zarina gave a faint smile, but the moment then quickly passed. She glanced up at the sky and saw how beautiful the clouds were. She never realized how much she was going to miss this place. But, it was always her dream to go somewhere other than her planet. 'I must go!' thought Zarina confidently as she waited for Darrin and the blind man to settle to a conclusion.

Erich jerked his head back slightly. "I've got a small ship just on the other side of that hill behind me. I usually land away from the village, as some of the islanders can be a bit too eager to get their hands on some of my merchandise, sometimes. If you still don't believe me, I can take you to it."
Heidi hadn't noticed anything other than what was in her sights, but Marco had. He noticed the bike circling in the air around them, and watched it land, putting Valhallen binoculars up to his face. He was watching the man with metal wings make his way through the forest towards them.
"We might have company soon." Cigarette smoke circled lazily about his head, waiting for the next island breeze to blow it away.
"Really? Maybe then I'll get to do something other than watching this guy bluff about explosives." She had seen the trigger in Rannek's hand, and could clearly tell it wasn't connected to anything. "And put that thing out, will you? You know I can't stand it, not to mention the fact someone might smell it..."
Marco took the binoculars away from his eyes, and slowly blinked, sighing. He took the cigarette from his lips, and rubbed it into the hillside grass. He resumed watching the incoming metal user.
Thorik smiled at his beloved lady as he leaped from The Hammer in the docking bay of the Floßhilde. 'I must tell her of the Nidhogg's arrival, but first...'
His armor magiked into the tactile likeness of light clothes on flesh, and he walked up and hugged Beate, not caring of the others watching.
"I'm here."

Gabriel had the feeling he was being watched. His eyes moved quickly from place to place and the targeting sensor he had over his right eye couldn't find anyone. It still didn't dispel any of Gabriel's fears. He just couldn't shake the feeling he was being watched.
A beep sounded in his ear meaning the targeting sensor had locked onto something. Gabriel whipped around to where the sensor indicated. His magik permeated the rifle and it flowed ever so faintly. The targeting sensor beeped three times. Complete lock on. Gabriel was about to squeeze the trigger when a rabbit ran from behind the bush he was aiming at. "Son of a..." He cursed quietly. The targeting sensor gave off a long beep meaning a lost target.
He released his magik from the rifle and continued to trek toward the sniper.

"Well that makes sense." Rannek announced, putting the wired button back into his satchel, he wasn't going to tell them if it was connected to anything even if the story did check out.
The captain of the White Hawk picked up his radio and put it to a general frequency, making sure that everyone within a ten kilometer radio would pick up the signal easily enough.
"Alright this Rannek Tenkyuu of the White Hawk. All mages, mercs and traders that are using my ship for transportation best return to the ship." Rannek said into the radio, "We'll be taking off in roughly ten minutes and to besure I am not waiting."
"You have your own ship so unless you have something really expensive to trade you've lost my attention." Rannek announced, waving his hand lazily as he moved back toward the open hatch of his ship.

The static cleared and a few of the men in formation grinned when they heard the news. They all knew that the White Hawk had dropped on to lower earrth but they'd had trouble locating it since their Departure from the Leviathan.
"He really is a fool." One finally said from the middle of the tight V formation, his comment was met with a couple quiet chuckles over the team communication link.
"We're not here to judge him, jury's out on the Hawk, we're just the execution squad." The head of the V radioed back to his troops as the cleared the mist completely and spotted the pin-p***k that was the hawk some eight kilometers away.

kleines_llewellyn Beate walked back to the center of the Bridge, and saw out the windshield the familiar airbike arch in the air and descend toward the Floßhilde's docking bay. She couldn't wait. Turning around, she ran, following the injured man, through the corridors of the ship, wanting to see Thorik as soon as possible. Beate gripped her arms around Thorik and stayed there for a few moments, her face in his shoulder. She wasn't crying, nor did she sigh, but in his presence she felt a great comfort, and a sense of ease. After a few more moments, she let go of him and slipped her hand around his arm, and gestured for them to begin walking.
As they did, Georg followed, periodically touching his ear and nodding, as if agreeing with the invisible voice in his ear. Speaking in the tongue common to lower Valhallans, Beate could hardly followed his muffled and slurred sounds. Enjoying Thorik's company, however, she sooned dismissed this, and turned her attention to him.
"I'm sure you're wondering, your Lordship, where Andora has gone off to. To the Weitlands, I'm afraid." She stopped in the hall, and turned to him, holding his hand to her chest. "Pandora knows," she said, gesturing to Georg, who then produced the Thistledey for him to see. "I've told her about the plan. Well..." she smiled, "most of it anyway. She doesn't know about our lead on the location of the Yagunan, but we may have to reveal it in our peace talks. I can almost taste the victory."
A voice rang out from the intercom system: "The Floßhilde is being hailed, your highness."
Georg interjected before she could give the go ahead to the ensign. "Your Highness and your Lordship should know," he said, thumbing his earpiece, "Annekathrin, our spy on the HMAV Nidhogg has radioed our secret channels. They are making way toward Olympian Airspace, slowly, and should be here within..."
Georg was cut off by the intercom. "Your Higness Princess Beate, please respond, how should we proceed."
Flustered, Beate yelled back, "What do you think? Tell me who it is!" She paused, and waited, on Thorik's arm, for the Ensign's response.

Corves caught the keys with his left hand and his expression changed. He was confused that the man was letting him go. That meant that he didn't know who Corves was. After a moment of thought Corves realized he had much more of an advantage with this man than he would on his own. It sounded as if there were many people on the ships that Corves had found himself upon and that meant a place to hide. First he would need to figure out the buisness these ships were involved in and see if there was a place were he could make a job for himself. The crowd would be a hard place to find him in if the whiperers came looking for him and even more help if the Olypians came looking for him after all these years but he didn'tknow the likely hood of that.
"Whate is your trade sir? Those are very expensive bikes for a basic captain. If you don't mind me asking."

"I'm a trader. A successful trader at that. I try to be completely neutral, hence why I am so successful. I trade to everyone. But I've put my trading days on hold so I can adventure some more. Get back to my roots. But enough about me.........wait." Darrin checked his watch. "Well, it seems as though Zarina and I are almost out of time. We must get on the White Hawk before they leave us. But you're an interesting man, and i would like to learn more about you. If the captain of the Hawk permits, maybe you can come with us. Come Zarina, we must go. And you too, Mister Mysterious. Let us board." He took the bike that the man had attempted to steal and drove it the Short distance to the Hawk and boarded with Zarina. "Its now or never if you wish to come"

Zarina nodded at Darrin and walked in the direction of the White Hawk. 'Finally... I get the adventure I have always been hoping for...' thought Zarina excitedly as she smiled a wide smile. She then glanced back occasionally to see if Darrin, and possibly the blind man, had followed her as well.
