Tai kept up the insane laughing as he began walking slowly towards Crow, even though he shouldn't be able to do anything of the sort. He began twirling Meiringan an he walked forward.

Crow watched as Tai rose up again and approached him. "Raised by Nightmare, it's no wonder you lost your mind." Crow raised his dagger once again in preparation for battle. Crow began to mutter to himself. "Would it be mercy to let you live, or to kill you?"

Tai kept coming, still twirling the black katana. He tilted his head to one side as he heard the question asked by Crow.
"That's for you to decide, should you live to see the day when you get to choose my fate." he said, snickering slightly.
"Ahh, yes," Nightmare began, "I can see your darkness, Tai."

Crow smirked ever so slightly, he threw his left fist back for a moment, it began to throw sparks of electricity around as he tensed it. Then he suddenly swung his arm, and from the hand he lobbed what looked to be a bright glowing orb at Tai. In an opposite motion, he drew his right hand, holding the blade back, as it too began to spark.

Tai's eyes widened as he saw the orb coming towards him. He had no idea what this was supposed to do, attack, or distract. Nervously, his attention shifted from the orb to Crow and back again. He decided it was an attack and seemed to vanished by being torn apart. Though this was only a ninja move which allowed him to go from place to place at blinding speeds.

Vanished... Crow released the energy from his right hand, the orb he had thrown disappeared as well. With an invisible target Crow could think of only one thing to do. He focused and began reading Tai's Ki signature, invisibly keeping track of the opponent.

This technique used by Tai wasn't meant for invisibility, though, so he quickly came back into veiw. He was in the air just above where he had been before vanishing. He seemed to float there, though he was actually coming back down very slowly.

Crow noticed Tai stop above, he was using some very unusual techniques. Crow quickly reached into his pocket and pulled out a small bomb with a very short fuse, he quickly ripped something off with his teeth then hurled the bomb up at Tai with great speed.

both Nali and Talim were close to the two fighters so they jumped out of the way

As the bomb sped towards Tai, all he had time to do was drop the katana and put up his arms, forming a slightly protective 'X' with them. The explosion turned his helmet into nothing more than a bunch of scraps, causing some of the peices to cut his face and parts of his head. As the smoke cleared, Tai could be seen kneeling, with blood from his forehead covering his left eye. He panted heavily, having used up a lot of energy for his age.

Once again Crow used the same motions he had just used, however this time the orb he threw had already been charged, however while the hand with his knife was still charging he had a determined look to his eyes.
