Batsu nodded a bit and walked into the training area and closed the doors behind him. He heeded the instructor's words and took a seat on the ground. His left leg was extended fully in front of him while the right leg bent at the knee close to his chest. The boy then draped his right arm over the bent knee.
Taking the time to scan the atmosphere -and to an extent, the other students- Batsu came to the conclusion that he was going to enjoy his time in the academy.
...and though the challenge was issued, Batsu decided that he wanted to take no part in it. Athletics wasn't his forte at all . Besides, he was still new at everything and wanted to observe as opposed to rushing head first into an unknown situation.
The male was quite an analyst in his own way.

Akemi kept his pace, beginning to wind down a little as the grove grew closer and closer. "Thank the gods." Soon enough training would be here and Akemi could show up that p***k of a genin. He hoped he could go grab a Kubikiri Houcho and kick this kids a** sometime soon. Now that he thought about it he had neglected to tall his cousin that small factoid. It could all wait though, for now Akemi was focused on winning the race at all cost so he could make a good impression and be first in line for training.

Mizurio has gained some ground, but what he did not expert at all was a female Hoshigaki in revealing clothes. It was a rare sight, and he could not look away. He had yet to understand why males look at females, like the way he was right now. But he was defiantly not winning any races gawking.

Mizuiro watched as the girl left. Once his attention was no longer lost to the world, he made his way to the Grove. He felt like it was taking forever. He didn't realize how far it actually was.

He decided to walk, he seemed to of gained some ground for now, so he just caught he breath, and kept at a fast walking pace. He wanted to know how everyone else was doing.

Mizuiro could now see he was almost where he needed to go, so he started to do a light run now, but there was no point, he would get there eventually. He wondered what kind of training they would be doing. he still needed to do the hand seals that's for sure.

Mizuiro's destination was now within his grasp. Once he got there, he would train as hard as he could, even if it meant taking down others completely. The rage of the Blood Mist was resurrected within him, but it had yet to truly awaken.
He looked around, noticing how empty the place was right now, and it was quite depressing, and also could possibly be the worse place to fight someone. barely any cover, you would need great techniques to keep yourself alive defending this area. Mizuiro knew becoming a ninja would have it's hard times, because hes already experienced enough for more than himself.

The area wasn't so empty after all, a person ran past Mizuiro so fast, he was dazed from it. Mizuiro looked in the direction the man ran and then the way he came from and noticed another chasing. He had no time to help this poor chap, But he did give the guy a Kunai. He later learned that the guy got hospitalized because the Kunai was stabbed into him 4 times.

Batsu started to become antsy and wanted to do something. However, he didn't want to disturb the training exercise that was going on... especially since the training wasn't concerning him.
There was something he could do... he could check out the library that he heard about. Reading books was more his style. More importantly to him, he'd have something to do. But he figured that he'd ask permission first. he was a student now, after all.
He glanced over at the man.
"Hey sensei, I'm gonna gave a book from the library to read while you all are training."
With that, Batsu leaped to his feet and headed out the door. ((Exit to Main island: Kirigakure Library))

Akemi''s run slowed down to a walk as he finally ran out of energy. His lead was pretty good, so he had a moment to spare, although as he looked back he could see Mizuiro in the distance. Once he caught his breath he picked up into a light jog for a bit to make sure he was good to go, then he took off like a bullet train.

Akemi was so close to the end now, but the others were quickly coming up behind him, he didn't know if this was going to be a sure fire success anymore. As his mind filled with doubts his body slowed down and returned to a job. He lingered here for a moment as he predetermined that he may lose, but look up and saw the grove so close to him. Akemi sprinted full force, he was almost to the finish line. He probably looked utterly ridiculous with his arms flapping around and swinging down like meat cleavers while a stream of snot began to leak from his nose and trail behind bim a bit. He even started to push so far that he began to scream, a deep scream from the belly that signaled he was giving it all for the gold.

Akemi's ridiculous actions paid off as he power housed through to the finish line. He knew that Mizuiro was behind him, but he had not seen the genin kid in a while, so it could be very likely that he had taken a shortcut or something, or maybe he too had tripped. Or maybe he passed Akemi when he had tripped before. His eyes scanned the grove for any sign of the annoyingly jerkish man.
Akemi decided to climb up into a tree and wait for Mizuiro so that he could scare him.
((So now I wait on Gid.))

Soon enough Shinzu began his run, he knew he'd have the advantage but what did it really matter if the Students beat him? He was already a ninja afterall, so this didn't take a whole lot of priority on his to-do list. No the less he took off running going through fully of the Academy rather quickly.

Shinzu was twisting in and out of hallways and for awhile he was sure he'd lost the two students, well all the better he could take shorter routes now without them following. Soon enough Shinzu was getting close to a secret exit in the Adacemy that he'd discovered some years ago.

Once Shinzu was near where he though the secret exit to be he began to look around hoping to see it. However after a while of searching he couldn't see it but he continued to look around knowing that he second he waited was a second the students could get ahead of him.
