Aino Ailill Collowrath Aino Ailill Collowrath Aino Ailill Well, ********. Prior to today, I don't believe I had encountered Rroma racism outside of the iterwebs but for such things as portrayed in Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame. Today, I watched Drag Me to Hell with a group of people. The movie and the comments these people were making were repulsive. neutral Yeah, I watched it a couple of days ago. Thought the b***h deserved it for being so rancid to the old woman. Not to mention the film's treatment of Rroma people. >.< I had thought that the bank worker treated the elderly person very well, all things considered. The woman had already been granted two extensions on the mortgage and stole from the person that e was seeking a favor from. After being told no, the person then proceeded to beg even after having been asked not to and proceeded to crowd in on the bank worker's person after having been told to stop. Furthermore, the person attempted to extract pity from the bank worker and inflict guilt upon the bank worker for making the elderly person homeless despite that the only reason this person would be without a place to live is due to this thief's pride. Even had the bank worker been rancid, which I do not agree with, I fail to see how that alone would make this worker worthy of having e's soul devoured by a malevolent entity. All things considered, after seeing the rest of the film, knowing that she wouldn't live long enough for another extension to matter and that the extension wouldn't have affected her promotion (it had to do with the big corporate loan, remember?), and the way the girl acted during the curse period - she was a trainwreck. I can't imagine a person not being something of a trainwreck (nice terminology xP) when having such a curse laid upon them. That does not change that, at the time of making the deal, the bank worker could not have known the length of the elderly person's life and was only aware, in regard to the potential promotion, that e was being treated as a glorified intern (fetching food) while the other person was set to take the promotion due to e's boss' questioning the ability of the bank worker to make tough decisions. The decision was sound. That's true. It's more that she killed the cat. >.< I mean, it was just HACKHACK HACKHACKETTYHACK. It kinda poisoned the well. sad

Wooow. My ex and a 'friend' on Facebook is whining about how no one's ever on AIM late at night ('case most of us are in university and midterms are coming up, or working) and concludes with saying 'I'm going to have a steady job, my own place, job training, and health/dental insurance long before any of y'all pay of your college loans.' and 'Most people who graduate from college just end up living with their parents and flipping burgers anyways. >: ('
And she wonders why I don't get on AIM to talk to her? Hell, I'm actively avoiding her lately, because she's toxic and classist and elitist and right-wing and just is not the warm, friendly person I loved in high school anymore. sad

The lines of causality which best serve the world are not the ones which best please me. A Tyrant is merely a person who gained power thru force of arms. In the area where the word originated, the people were well armed, and a sustainable military take over was only possible thru popular consent. A tyrant was a liberator. Does a person have the right to decide for others that they must be free? Is it not brazen hypocrisy to strip a person of their choice to remain comfortable chattel in the name of liberty?
If this is what you truely desire...

How many times does someone have to prove to you that the ADF is wrong about using the title of Druid until you actually believe it?

Just spent the last half hour coming up with a kick-a**, confidence-filled, Ninesriffic "personal statement" for my application to my college of choice...to find out there's a whole other section that I need to do, and can't, because I can't print out the silly form for it.
I suppose I can just tell myself how awesome I am, but being as it's empty and I really am not that egotistical (read: I don't really think I'm that awesome), it gets old quickly.

Didn't you know... we are the ones who are wrong because we are "building off the assumption that words have 'actual' meanings". Silly us for thinking such a thing... obviously they don't and people can use them to mean whatever the hell they want them too. stressed scream stressed
