I'm here. I was bedridden for the past week, but I've been checking. Hinote, I'll be on the chat server tonight and tomorrow morning as much as I can. Lately I haven't quite been up to it, but I'm feeling better of late.

So...ehem....in what was initially a boredom induced trip down memory lane, I've returned to find that some of my friends are still around and active. You guys have no idea how ecstatic that makes me. Just everyone still in one place talking to one another is enough to make me smile like an idiot.
So...sentimentality aside...how would one such as myself go about starting in this new world of ours?

So...sentimentality aside...how would one such as myself go about starting in this new world of ours? Well, off the bat good to see you. It's been quite a long time since you've poked around. I'd read our front page, look at our starter section, and make an rpc. I'd personally suggest an academy ranked rpc or genin since that's where most of the rp action will be. Apart from Hikro and Hinote, I'll for sure end up creating one of my own. Otherwise, most everything is explained on the front page. Although, that might be updated to suit a very possible one year time skip.

We would be very glad to have you back good sir! Sadly there may not be any RP to join just this moment, but soon once we get this timeskip out of the way youll be able to hop right into the middle of your academy year. (assuming you start in academy like most. You could start as a Genin if you really wanted but it would be a bit boring for a while.)
I look forward to seeing your character, and how he/she fits into this colorful cast.

I think I love this new learning format, with no set post requirements, but still a lesson base. The posts I made with Shikaku would probably better suit a C or so rank jutsu in the old system, rather than the E rank that's being learned, but once I got what I wanted in mind it was really easy to write that much, felt natural, where with the old system, I might have been tempted to skimp. Probably not, but still. I like it.

Probably not, but still. I like it. Tempted in the sense that as a good rp'er, you could pretty much write up a half decent post and get the training in. This system is great in the fact that as long as all rpc's (or at least most of them), write in a competent manner, the lessons will pan out fairly short. Basically, the worse the writing or descriptions become, the longer the lesson. If we progress at this rate, I don't doubt I'd let people out of classes within three to four posts depending on the subject.

Sorry about any inactivity I might have lately. Apparently the phone lines around here are being changed out or something, cause we lose our internet, phones, and everything for extended periods all through the day. Been going on for several days now. It's rather annoying, and makes it hard to do anything online since I'd have to sit and wait for a chance, then hurry to get whatever I'm doing done before it dies again. So, while I'm not actually gone, you might as well count me as being on a pseudo-hiatus until they finish whatever it is they're doing.
On a brighter note, I've finally started playing games again, since the internet is down! yay! lol
