Callista let go of him and turned away, moving as far away as she could in the pool. She'd just recently discovered the four children within her, two male and two female. She couldn't think about two of her babies turning vampire.

She shook her head. "Nothing...I...my...my babies can't turn!" She bit down hard on her lower lip to attempt to keep the tears away and used her preternatural speed to move so that she could bury her head in Valzar's chest.

"Your..." Valzar felt the panic in him spread even as he merged with Callista, taking on her fear as well as well as the fear of the four lifeforms within her, upset with their mother's distress. "Callista...I-I'm ssorry...I didn't mean to..."

"You didn't know," She sobbed, "I didn't want to tell you yet since you didn't seem to want them..." The tears were freely falling now, her arms were cirlced around his waist, which was also the only reason she was still standing.

He pulled her up into his arms, "I'm sorry...I couldn't even imagine...Callista, please stop crying." He didn't know what to do, he was overwhelemed by her sadness, his fear, everything...
