Out of curiosity, how do we mix the villains into the plot? Does someone actually assume the role of the villain?

We have a villain account called Random_Villain that shows up when needed to move the story along for out villains. Our last story arch had him playing the role of the Sugar Man who ran of genetic lab on Genosha. He worked for an unknown boss... who we will see again.
(Lose story summaries are in the RP Archives... that's where I send our little story update thread when we're done)
Mostly, when we have a story arch with a villain, myself or maybe another mod will run the villain storyline. Whenever it comes down to large scale files, everybody can control the minions of the villain. I usually also give everybody pieces of the storyline in PM that they will need to know for the storyline.
We have story arcs outlined pretty solidly right now, but I'm going to open a thread for suggestions soon. I know that lots of folks probably have ideas and we like trying to give everybody an opportunity to come up with something for us to run.

The party is not going to last forever. I am going to slate Friday morning as the day we are leaving for Vegas.... maybe earlier if things get slow...

ok, friday is a work day as per usual for me, stil ltrying to get to dayshift so that means I won't be on untill around 1am as per usual. I will be around all weekend for the event though but on friday if you need me simply post for m ycharacter, I can read to catch up. 3nodding

Whenever we move into a major story we tend to 'assume' characters are present. So even if you don't physically write yourself on the jet or whatever, we just assume you're there. We know not everybody is around at the same time. smile
|

I don't think thats ever happened before... Usually I can amuse myself for at least thee paras (*coughs* para being the operative word) of complete fluff... Yet today, I got nothing lol!
