Ceon's bloody hand shakily rose to Layna's cheek, "Layna..... I... lo... lo... ve...... y...you..." Ceon's breaths were now long and labored, the color starting to fade from his face. "Don't.... let me.......... go......."

Layna pressed her lips to Ceon's forehead, shaking with sobs. "Don't leave me alone. I don't want to be alone..." She whispered. She prayed to God for some miracle, so act of kindness that would save her mate's life, no matter the price. The thought of being alone was worse than a curse to her. She was undeniably alone except for the few who were left who cared.

Zarathos stared at the demon"I am not a traitor...A traitor has to go against his people.I know little about who I was,but these may not be my spiceis but I must protect them.I have noe one...My kind already hate me,and so do they.But they actually mean something to me...You don't"Zarathos charged the demon in one hand a blade of ice.The other a blade of fire from the deepest pits of hell.

Ceon's head tilted to the side, his eyes resting on the blood-filled cross that he had given, a small smile came upon his face. But if he didn't get the blood in there very soon, he would be dead. He didn't want to leave Layan because he loved her so much. "Layna..... the cross...... bloood....."

"Your a traitor period!" throwing his spear at the other tainted Daiguren could see it splitting the aiming as it went aiming to his heart. Daiguren then disappeared picking up his other spear form earlier and going back to his original position faster then one could tell he moved.

Zarathos tried to dodge but failed slightly.The spear ripped into his left shoulder.The flame blade went out."God damn you...I fight for myself.I need not the help of others.All I need is myself and my friends.You fight for false hopes in a war no one will ever win.We will just keep killing and killing until there is nothing left.People like you will kill us all and take this city with you.In the end you will only be dragged back to the pit you came from."He swung his arm and launched the ice blade from his right arm and brought out more and more launching them continuously.

As the ice came at him he start to spin his extra spear faster and faster to knock down all of the ice that came at him. he continued as he spoke, "To tell you something interesting i don;t care about this war to much in the first place it's merely a reason for me to get rid of those you i deem unworthy like that lycan and you." A small bit of ice cut the sleeve on his shirt but didn't hit him.

Zarathos smiled and kept launching the ice"I am truly sorry though...That Lycan is the boyfriend of the reason I returned to this life.So it will be I who kills hims if anyone...And I don't plan on that."He reached into his jacket briefly pausing the ice assault.He came out and threw another Ice bolt this time With a pacage inside...And hand granade.

the brief pause was all he need, Daiguren had now moved behind the other tainted and his spear head to come down in a slashing motion at his back

Zarathos dodged the spear barely.He pulled out his 9mm and fired at the demon."A speed freak hu?I killed many of your kind before I was turned into this monster.If I've done it before I know I can do it again."He pulled out his sword and dropped in instantly.Th weight was to much for his left arm.He ripped out the first spear and destroyed it in a quick burst of hell fire.Then continued firing.

"I can't see you killing any of us much less me now." a shimmer of light dropped own on the gun just after it was fired a knife jamming the slide open stopping it from shooting again. Daiguren watched as the bullet came lazily out of the barrel and moved past it to his side after jamming the gun. He's starts to thrust his spear toward the open ribcage.

Zarathos dodged again this time it skimmed his side only cutting the skin.Zarathos stood in place.A layer of Ice stopping the bleeding of his shoulder."You think you can kill me...Come and get me'Speedy'."He said mockingly.

Layna's tears continued to fall. "What about it?" She murmured, lifting the cross from the ground. She was so worried. She didn't want to lose him, didn't want to feel loss again.

"Pour.........neck...hury..." Ceon gasped, coughing up a large amount of blood. Ceon could feel death slowly creeping upon him, his breaths becoming longer and lighter. A single tear feel from his eye, sadness across the now pale face.

It was hard to understand his words. He wanted her to pour the blood on his neck? She looked down at the cross, and felt the tip break off under her agitated thumb. She stared down at Ceon, her mate, her love, and poured the blood onto his neck.
