I havn't been doing much. Went to Metrocon for Friday, just wandered a bit and went home. I've been working and playing Pokemon Conquest.

Kitsune_rei I hope everyone escaped the flooding ok. Yeah, no flooding for me. I went to work later that night after the rain stopped and the roads were so dry that it didn't even look like it had been storming at all.

I moved closer to Tampa to be closer to my folks. The rain was horrific in Dade City. There was some flooding, but nothing major.

Hey. HEY GUYS. biggrin The group I've been with for 5 years now is streaming for charity, and we need some traffic. It's more of a showdown, yesterday another friend of ours streamed for us and today our guy is streaming, and whoever raises the most is the winner, but the loser has to do something that the fans decide on. Come and join, we're about 4 hours into this stream, playing Civ5. Come join maybe? http://LegendZero.com/ss4charity

Shiny Happy People All Around!
Rejected Olympics 2012?! I ended up picking Barton, just like every time. It's been my favorite town right from the beginning because of my two favorite NPCs, Rufus and Ian.
Beginning to dislike a certain cute thing though.... gaia_kittenstar

I picked Durem on this account because the red item went with my current avatar. I picked the other teams on mules. 3nodding

Team Durem since the summer event a few years back. I even have the shirt still and it's going for around 34k~. Not selling ever though.
I need some help D:
I like gory anime. Or anime overwhelmed with emotions. Example time: Gory I liked: Another, Elfen Lied, Bludgeoning Angel. Emotional: Gurren Lagann, Shuffle.
But I can't really find anything related to these, any suggestions?

My only suggestion would be to try asking the anime board. http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/anime-manga-comics/f.3/

New study finds significantly less people coming onto Gaia. eek
It's not just this guild. It's pretty much all of Gaia. Someone pointed out in a thread in the gaming section that a few years ago there'd be 100,000 accounts at a time on this site and that now it averages like 10,000.
I looked at the numbers and it currently shows:
Who is Online? - 25298 users. (21819 visible, 3206 hidden, 273 guests). Most users ever online was 77,655 on Sun Nov 07, 2010 7:31 pm
For a Wednesday night in the summer (with an event going on), I'd sort of expect more people to be on. 25k accounts isn't too bad and it's more than the 10k the other guy said, but I'd still expect more people on at this time. Also, I could have sworn Gaia had some push to get 100,000 people on at once and I thought they reached that goal...but the data they're showing from 2010 says otherwise.
Either way, significantly less people/accounts/mules/whatever have been logging on in the last year and a half.

In a lot of ways it barely seems like the same site anymore. And it feels like they cater to younger and younger crowds, despite having the age limit. It doesn't help either that people who originally liked Gaia in the early days are all growing up now. I barely have time for Gaia now with my job, but I still come in each day, even if I don't do a whole lot. They also have done this to themselves I think, with how many people they have needlessly banned.

I forgot what they called it, exactly...but they had a big sign up for it as you're driving by. I think they were hiring for that and also a vet technician.

Vickicat And it feels like they cater to younger and younger crowds, despite having the age limit. I don't think they cater to younger crowds at all. for the age limit, I think some of the items on gaia are too sexual, or revealing. don't you think? I mean little teenagers 14 or 15 can come on gaia and dress their avatar up like a little slut. that can't transfer well to their real lives. I mean, sure we all dress out avatars in way that we never would irl, but sometimes it makes me think..
