Mizuiro raised an eyebrow at this newcomer. But he didn't really have time for anything, he needed to train.
[Look/Spot DC: 10 vs 5 + 1 = 6. Fail]
Mizuiro entered the library, but as he searched around, he could never find a book on hand seals, even looking at each one very closely. He couldn't understand it, there must of been a book on that.
His testosterone had yet to settle from before, so he was ready to smash the place up, but he decided to just go back to the training yard.

Akemi suddenly looked annoyed, "I was in the middle of learning the transformation technique when you summoned me, but otherwise I have only learned the hand signs and gotten a basic background on ninja society. That said, unless we are starting some training here Itoko-sensei, I would like to return to my training regiment so as to graduate as soon as I can." His face settled and he crossed his arms as he looked down at his cousin.

((Ah, I missed that. I'm gonna blame the meds.))
Batsu eased up significantly when he heard the man's voice. He didn't even bother to scope out the area, even though, he felt like he should. However, out of respect, he looked at the male and responded to his question.
"I am Batsu, sir. This IS the Academy, right?"
He slid his hands into his pockets and stood with his feet shoulder-width apart. Just in case he was wrong, which he doubted, he thought it best to stay put. He didn't want to make a COMPLETE fool of himself.

Ignoring the other two hoshigaki Shinzu responded to Hiru. "I'm a Genin, I've mastered all Academy Jutsu, and several weapons including the Katana and Fuma Shuriken." He told him a serious voice, he felt that this was slowly becoming a serious moment. His mind wandered slightly, he had been a genin for almost two years now plenty of time to become stronger, it was about time he took the Chuunin Exam! "Do you know when the next Chuunin exam is?" Shinzu asked Hiru without thinking.

Hiru realized Akemi was most likely of the overachieving type. Being that annoyed about having been disturbed in training clearly gave it away. Nothing wrong with that. Still, for a Hoshigaki, he seemed to have very decent poise and discipline.
Hiru was glad to see batsu ease up a bit. "Yes, this is the academy. We're just about to start some training so stick around.", Hiru answered the young boy.
Hiru knew Shinzu had been a genin for a while now and realized that, like him, he had been held back to that rank because fo the lack of people of his skill level to train and advance with. "Next chuunin exams aren't for a little while but even so, I think you could use extra training before even thinking of signing up.", Hiru answered, clearly knowing that to enroll Shinzu at his current strength level would be a death sentence. "Keep training, you'll be ther ein no time!", Hiru added, hoping to keep the young boy focused on a clear goal.
Realizing that these were most likely the only student's he'd have for a while, Hiru walked to the front of the class to adress them. "Okay people. We're going out to the grove to start the first part of our training.", he told his students who seemed desperate for a challenge. Remembering his book on teaching for dummies, he tried to find a way to keep their motivation up despite the long way they'd have to go. After a quick second of thinking, an idea sprung to his mind. "No need to slack off on our way there though. The first one to reach the grove will earn extra credit.", he said with a smile.

Shinzu sighed as Hiru told him he'd have to wait and train some more but a grin quickly spread on his face as Hiru told them they'd be racing to the grove. As a seasoned ninja Shinzu easily had the upper hand and without saying much of a word he set out at his fastest pace to the grove.

Shinzu was running as fast as he could and actually made it out of the room without incident, however he slipped as he turned into the hallway. He flew through the air turning end over end until he hit the wall. "Ouch." He said in a low voice as he began to stand up again.

After Shinzu got up he began running once again and looked behind to see no one there, as he got closer and closer to the front of the Academy.

Akemi took off like a bullet, he was by no means the fastest runner, but training was a good goal to have. The a*****e genin was getting closer and closer to him and Akemi kept striving onward, determined to beat him to the grove. Akemi pushed even harder to strive forward and eventually passed the meatsack, but he kept striving and pushing onward to get a comfortable lead. Then came the rock ... Akemi tripped over the stone lodged in his path and fell face first, eating a mouthful of dirt. By the time he recovered and started running again meatsack had caught up.

Akemi pushed forward again, pulling ahead of the genin. As he ran he never looked back, only to his side on occasion, and down to avoid tripping again. He was determined to be the best around, and a genin wasn't going to keep him down. He had to be better than the genin, assholes didn't deserve authority. Akemi would make genin and then go to the chunin examines with this genin or even better before him.
He looked back just once to see that everything was becoming a small dot in the distance, and as he gathered his bearings he realized that he was already almost halfway to the grove. This would most certainly be a victory. ******** the meatsack, we had three Hoshigaki here, the village could get by on that, they wouldn't miss a meatsack like the genin.
Akemi passed what he had marked as the halfway point with a large sense of pride and accomplishment. Perhaps he could make enough money to buy a sword after he erased this punk off of the map.

Mizuiro was surprised by this sudden race, and tried to run for the door but he tripped over his own feet before he could and fell face first. He wasn't knocked out, just stunned, it took him a while to recover.

Mizuiro was feeling dizzy still from the blow, he had barely now gotten through the door was he smacked into the wall, thinking it was the door. he wasn't quite right in his vision yet, and he was also feeling a little sick now.

After finally recovering, he leaped out the door, right over the steps and ran down the path. He almost forgot where he was going in the excitement. He put down his goggles, which he barely ever does, and turned left between to buildings that were leading towards the Grove.

Akemi kept his lead fairly easily, the grove was now coming into sight. He began to get a little cocky and started to jump over rocks an such that got in his way, which added a little excitement and kept his adrenaline going.
This all lasted for about a minute before he tripped yet again, but this time he scrambled to his feet, maintaining his lead and setting off once again down the path.
He would keep it nice and easy for the rest of his run, seeing as he was nearly there and the last thing he needed was to screw it up now. Akemi kept pressing onward, but his body was beginning to feel the effects of the long run now.

Mizuiro was pleased, he had now gained some ground, but he saw Akemi was in the lead. He had not time to was, he saw the Grove far off in the distance, ran for it at a pace he could handle.
[11+ 1 = 12. Success. 2/10]
Mizuiro was still way behind, and he was now only running at a slow pace, he needed a pick me up, but he didn't want to go all the way to a shop just to win a stupid race.
[14 + 1 = 15. Success. 3/10]
Mizuiro suddenly saw a cart selling crabs and other shellfish. He ran over and quickly bought two crabs. He devoured them quickly though, he didn't really have time to enjoy them. But he did enjoy that part a and licked his fingers before carrying on his way.

Mizuiro felt energized now! That crab worked, it was great to feel like you could run forever! So Mizuiro picked up speed, he felt he could defeat Akemi. The b*****d so got a head start. He ran hard, and fast.
[20 + 1 = 21. Success.]
Mizuiro after a few minutes now regretted two things, eating the crab and running fast. The energy didn't last long, he was tired again, what really got him was that he now had a stomach ache. He sat down for a while, and got his breath back.
[8 + 1 = 9. Fail.]
Mizuiro got back up after his rest. Now he felt good, and he decided to run at a more steady pace, but fast enough to not give Akemi a good lead. He was now halfway and not that far behind.
