Sakeme walked over their way and smiled at Elruda. The puppy face worked every time... She wondered if she'd ever be able to do that. Peering over the kid's head, she glanced over at the mission. "Perfect... I've been itching to get out and do something... Haven't been on a mission since we got hired for that mushroom collecting thing in Ame..." That was the most annoying mission she'd ever been on... hands down.

(Since I still have 18 posts to go now... I'm gonna try that condensed post thingy... I can pretend that this is all before she goes on the mission and all that)
There was more genjutsu to be done, but this was all fine to her, after all, it was more practice. Like she had heard before. Practice made progress, and progress made perfect, unless you practiced wrong because then you made progress in the wrong direction. This was always funny to keep in mind, as it was soemthing the techers at the academy would constantly remind you... after you got old enough anyways. When you just started they only said the simple 'practice makes perfect'.
So her genjutsu was still flawed, that was to be expected. Thing were just not fitting for her at the moment, with all the objects and shadows and boulders being delt with all at once and what not. It seemed to be going much better than when she first started though. Her headache was easing away, the ripples and cracks had disappeared... all she really had to do was fine tune her illusion like world and make it better. Fool proof might have been a better word, though.
She was starting to manipulate the night sky now, with how dark it was and how eveything around her ended up pitch black, unless there was some sort of moon light above her. There was also the options of starlight and then cloudy nights too. The couldy nights were fun, especially when there was a full moon above them. It made them glow grey.

She could almost lay on her back and watch as the coulds rolled by... if it didn't look like the sun was behind it. The moon was too freaking bright. And it just got worse from there. The coulds started swirling and getting heavy on her. It was like she could feel them on her, weighting like bricks rather than water vapor. Eventually she had to shift her chakra and shatter the image completely, leaving her in broad daylight looking around with some odd expression.
Feeling it was for the best to just jump back on the horse, so to speak, she formed the same horse hand seal that was being molded into her fingertips and muscle memory. She managed to cast her self into the same place at the same time right before things got nasty. The moon still seemed like the sun behind the clouds, but that could be easily fixed. She hoped to turn down the brightness as well as getting the yellow tint out of her grey clouds. She missed grey clouds. They barely had a white cloud in Iwa.
Eventually her clouds were back to the beautifully depressing dark grey that was like her home land, no disgusting yellow to brighten up he rlovely day. Yellow was an awful color... so was orange... Blacks, greys, blues, purples... those were nice... as long as they stayed normal to dark in their value. If they were neon or pastel, though she wasn't sure how a neon purple or grey was possible, they would be tossed and never thought of again. All in all, she was pretty please with her work at the moment, even if the moon was too bright.

Though annoying as the bright moon would seem to be, it was nothing compared to how annoying it was going to become. As if her genjutsu had a mind of its own, it parted the clods away from the moon allowing it's annoying bright self to shine down on her. Now some people might like this... getting their spotlight in a sense, but she did not. It was startng to hurt her eyes. Who knew that she could be truly annoyed by her own creation, though her annoyance could have something to do with it.
Shaking her head, and shielding her eyes, she took in a deep breath before focusing on her chakra and what she had left. She felt like she might get wiped clean soon, so she was going to make the most of what she could. Pretending to be a master, and forcing her earlier annoyance away, she pulled the clouds together again and dimmed the cursed moon before pulling the clouds away again. The moon seemed nice now... she went on ahead and added a star here and there. She would try to do constelations later.
Eventually she had to let the time pass, right? So she switched to sunrise, where the sky was mostly dark, with the stars disappearing one by one, and the light on the eastern horis=zon was growing into a dim greyish light. As she continued with that, the grey became larger and lighter, until, eventually, the yellowy sun peeked its little head about and decided it was gonna rise too. Sdly,w hen the sun rose, her skys went to sunset mode and changed to the oranges and pinks, instead of keeping it's grey hue.

She was managing to get the colors atleast to paler versions of the pink and orange, though they disgusted her with all she was. Her results were powder pink, and inside of orange peel orange... both hidious. Pink itself was a curse upon humanity... orange, well, she didn't want to talk about it. All she could do was try to keep the sun rising, and change things accordingly. For where she was, she made sure there wer eno cluds, once again, though she was missing their soothing darkness.
Things got worse from there... if someone else had been in the genjutsu they would have been able to notice instantly. She did not know how the heck she did it, but she did it for sure. The sky was... green. How could she have made the sky green? The sky had beent he thing she had kept flawless the entire duration of her training, minus the cracks and ripples, and now it was messing up on her. What the heck? This was going to get mroe annoying, she was sure. After all, how could anyone turn the sky green after this much practice?
The sky was till green, though she was trying to use some chakra trick or maneuver inside herself to do something. Groaning and shutting her eyes, she rubbed her temples with her finger tips. When she opened to look up at the mess she had made... it was fixed. Raising an eyebrow to that, she turned and noticed another big mess. The canyon around her, boulders and everything... were now purple. Not mountan from a distance purple, velvet purple... This was getting ridiculous...

Slowly, though it didn't quite seem that way, the scene was getting worse and worse. The cactuses that lined various canyon walls and such were turning red and blue... Nothing like their natural green. How the heck could she be making such horrible mistakes when the vast majority of what was being ruined int eh first place were things she'd been getting right the whole time! Honestly? A purple canyon with red and blue cactuses? Why the heck not? Give it back the green sky and a pink sun, then we can call it a day from there.
To her unfortunate dismay, that's exactyl what she got. The sun turned into a baby pink color, that was even more blinding that its original yellow self, and thesky reverse back to its slime green form. Thing were topsy turvy and she was having a heck of a time trying to fix it. Part of her wondered why she should fix it now? It got messed up, somewhat, by the mere thought of it messing up... why not just think of it being fixed and it will fix itself? She closed her eyes and imagined a perfect scene... opened them... and nothing.
She knew from the start it would take more than just chakra and a good imagination, if that's what you could call her latest masterpiece. Thingw as, she was still a lazy being. She was one who was always n=known for her procrastination. This was not always a bad thing, it gave her time to think things through... twice, thrice, or more... Right now she had to get it together though. Chanting 'get it together' in her thoughts, she gradually changed bit by bit. Things were starting to look up. Her chant could be what was working, or just the mere thought of actually doing her work could have been it.

Alright, so things were comming together much better now. The sky was it's rightful color again. Blue for those of you who dont know. The canyon and every boulder and pebble inside it were its varied shades of brown again... and the cactuses were green and the sun yellow. She didn't think she'd be glad something was yellow, until she turned it away from pink. Her genjutsu was nearly perfect. This was soemthing excuiting to her, though her expression of excitement would be to take a nap right afterwards.
Thinking lazily for the moment, and not paying attention to her awesome new creation that was practically perfect, the genjutsu was feeling a bit neglected and decided to do soemthing of it's own will, not really, and get her attention back on it once more. The colors dimmed, making the whole area looked like a washed out painting, like she'd been working with water colors and she'd used too much water on it, making it go lighter and then drip darker at the bottom.
Deciding she was going to fix this little mishap before she went, she shifted the colors around a bit, draging and blending the darker colors of the bottom with the lighter of the top. Eventually the sky was it's nice blue, the sun was back to it's lemony yellow, the rocks their earthy browns, and the cactuses their ligth and dark greens. Lookinga round one last time, she released her genjutsu and wandered off. There were other places she had to be,s he was just glad she could make sure her jutsu really was fine.

It happened again. It was a nice day that Raisuke could enjoy.. but his sensei decided to bark orders instead. He had given Rai a training regimen for the day. Which Rai would gladly follow if it would increase his strength at all. Making his way down the long path of the canyon. He followed the river about a half of a mile from the village. Walking to the waters edge he pulled out a piece of paper.
"Chakra.. purge?"
Raisuke would put the note back in his pocket. Then focus his chakra enough that it would almost burn visibly. But his chakra wasn't quite that dense unfortunately. He would somewhat quickly form the necessary hand seals. Then several spots on the river would sprout to life. Bubbling up to form replica bodies of Raisuke. He had just created 12 water clones. Then Raisuke would sit down on the riverbank, crossing his legs indian style. He formed a hand seal and held it there, it was time for his training to begin.
Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Doppelganger Technique) Creates one or more identical copies of the user out of water. More similar to Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Art of the Shadow Doppelganger) than to a normal Bunshin no Jutsu (Doppelganger Technique), these clones are capable of attacking, except for the fact that each clone's power is only one-tenth of the user. Also, the clones can only be controlled within a certain radius of the user. That is the technique's weakness. This is considered to be the Water Style equivalent to the Leaf Village's "Kage Bushin no Jutsu" (Shadow Doppelganger Technique) mainly because it divides up the user's attention and chakra to an extent. Cp cost: 4 per bushin. Damage: Bushin deal 1/3 of your normal damage. Requirements: Water Affinity. Training days: 3 days 42-36=6cp

Raisuke was sitting on the river bank, watching his clones. Well rather trying to manipulate his chakra that was running through them. To concentrate he was holding the ram sign. Soon enough all that could be heard was the clinking together of metal. Ninjato were drawn and Rai was controlling them while working out his bladed combat skill. All of them seemed to have the upper hand.. well none of them would rather. Raisuke would have a single bead of sweat roll down his head. It appeared and sounded easy.. but detailed control of clones was difficult. Especially when he had expended all of his chakra reserve to cast them. Then there was the fact that he had made so many. Well its as they say, you have to use power to gain power. Wait, was that how it goes? Screw it.

The sound of clanking metal would continue to carry over the surface of the river. And with as many clones as he was trying to control it would sound like gears in some heavy machinery churning. For a little while anyway. Until he slipped up. One of the clones had slashed right through the blade of another. The structure of even the blade had been scrambled. Rai seemed to have lost control of that one. It was like a small explosion. As the water dispersed it would send the other clones back away from it. Kind of skidding across the top of the water like they were skiing. The real Rai that was overlooking was sweating. It was pushing him. And the chakra drain would start to pain him most likely.

After that little incident with the clone exploding.. the rest would just kind of be incircled around where that one popped. It somehow had happened directly in the center of where they were. Unfortunately for Rai the blast had made two more pop when the flew back. He was down to less then a dozen now. Maybe that would make the control over them a little more easy? One could only hope that were the case. Because he was in for a long day if he would have to take breaks to rest at all. Long day indeed.

Having been blasted back a bit it would have been as if the clones paused. Which was actually just Rai take himself a short quick break. Then one at a time the clones rushed back in toward a centerpoint. Seeming as if they all met at one point with a thrust of swords. Though Rai's timing had been a little off. So this would cause a major flaw. It would through the aim of all the others off. Therefor the initial clone would end up with 9 swords lodged into his ribcage and across his chest. Blood would start to drip from the corner of his mouth. Then when it hit the water, the water didn't change colors. It just turned back to water. Then the clones body suddenly became that same transparent liquid. Falling and fading back to its original source, the river. Then the clones blades were all interlaced.

Rai's muscles in his forearms and hands would tense. He was trying too hard to focus on controlling his chakra. Meanwhile back down where the clones where, sparks were starting to fly. The pressure from the blades pushing back. They all seemed to leap back at the same time. The simultaneous movement was proof that Rai wasn't completely failing at this training. Well, it would seem that way, until one of the clones seemed to pop like a bubble. Then the real Rai would sweatbead. A big enough one that it would be seen over the normal sweat on his face.

Amaya stood quietly, looking off at the long trail that would lead her back to the harsh cold of the gorge. Even with the hot afternoon Iwa sun beating against her neck, a shiver raced up her spine, leaving goosebumps in its wake. It would be so much easier to just continue the Getsuei Odori training here in familiar weather conditions, but really, what would be the point of that if she had the opportunity to push herself even more? Plus, she knew that there would be other strong shinobi training all the way out there. Perhaps she could pick up something or another from observation. Though that would heavily depend upon If her eyes would even be able to keep up.
A last bit of adjusting was made to her repacked satchel and she tightened the knot about her waist of the coat sleeves for the change in weather. Unlike last time, she would be better prepared to handle the shift in climate. She ran like the wind alongside the river. It would be her guide to her destination. When large rocks saw fit to block her path, she either went around them, over them, or under them. Going through them was probably a valid option since her experience with the task of keeping falling boulders at bay from the village, but that would have been a waste of valuable energy.

Rai simply shook his head to how that clone burst. He honestly had to fight off a laugh. The swelling up and bursting was almost as if it were a kid blowing bubbles using soapy water. And what made it sad was that to most people he was still a kid himself. A kid using a ninjutsu to blow little bubbles. It was sad, but at least that little comic relief would allow Rai to calm down a slight bit. He had been losing his clones at an alarming rate up until just now. He knew that it was time to concentrate and he had to get on that now. Closing his eyes gently, he would try to focus on the chakra movement alone. Manipulating their patterns.
Then it would soon become obvious what it meant to change the pattern. He was switching the way that half of the clones were fighting. They flipped the blades around so that the blade was facing downward and they were using the offhand, the right hand. It was obvious that Rai was left handed now. And also that calming down gave him control over his chakra. All the clones stayed solid this time around.
