Conner landed with a roll on the tower blocks roof, a sudden impulse had detoured him to the rooftop he had first watched the X-men on, the one he had been on when the whole asteroid-M fiasco kicked off. He lent over the nearest roof wall and grabbed his lock box and heaved it back onto the roof and was about to open it up when a shape floating above the buildings caught his eye. He bent down, opened the lock box and pulled out the telescope he had stashed in there those few days ago. He put the scope to his eye and focused it on the shape...which turned out to be the very familiar shape of Ellen, girl from the mega-mart. He watched her for a second and figured she was heading in his direction; either for him or to pass him, he didn't know. He decided to wait and see. He turned around, put the telescope back in the box and pulled out a couple of Kendal mint cakes. In his rush to observe the 'hood house he had forgotten to get the water bottles and energy bars from the boot and his stomach had been complaining since midnight. He unwrapped the cake and breathed in the mint, it reminded him of his summers in the woods. He took a bite then looked over his shoulder, tracking the girls progress.

She took another sip of her coffee. "I only put two tea spoons in..." She protested. "And a small dash of milk." Cause that's how she took her coffee. "So no I'm not loaded up on sugar." At least not yet she wasn't the idea had potential....maby later.

Sara nodded to the refrigerator. "Well, he have eggs, some bacin." She started then pointed to the cabinet. "We have cereal some begals and toast." She said. "Standard breakfasty type stuff."

X-23 heard voices as she approached the kitchen. If her memory was correct, she'd find the green girl along with the rock-wielder inside. She turned the corner, and let her lips curve up in the barest of smiles, for she'd been right. They seemed to be starting on breakfast, and she figured they wouldn't mind if she quietly joined them. Even if they hadn't been discussing what they were drinking as she came in, she'd have been able to tell by smell. The coffee smelled good, even though she wasn't partial to drinking it, and the orange juice smelled fresh. Upon checking the fridge to see what else there was, she decided to go with the orange juice, and helped herself. She drank it while standing by the counter, so as not to intrude.

(oh it morning!... eek )
Jillann climbed out of bed when her alarm clock she had forgotten to turn off thought it was a good time to wake her up. She got out of bed after wrestling with the covers to get free, and walked sleepily over to the dresser. She grabbed a black tank top that had a band name on it but she was too tired to care as long as it covered she was of and a pair of hot topic style pants. 'Man i need some food...' Jillann thought as she stumbled her way downstairs in to the kitchen not spending a minute on her crazy bed head, food was more important at the moment. She went in to the kitchen and grabbed some coffee from toe pot that was there she decided to take the chance, coffee either made he fall asleep or wake her up, it was always random.

((Morning 'tis, although I don't know how many other loners'll be up and about. xd ))
Owen slowly opened his eyes, meeting with the usual darkness. He raised his head, his hair dangling in clumps over his face like dirty, white threadbare tassels. He reached up and felt something squirming in his hair. He ran his fingers through the dirty mop, dislodged a spider, and set it down on his raggedy blankets, watching in fascination as it crawled away, barely visible in the weak light. He sat up and stretched as far as he was able in the small hole he was in, then he crawled up and out onto the upper story of the church, where he could look down upon the entire sanctuary. Since his last little adventure, no police had come to call, so he could only guess that his appearance had gone unnoticed. Seeing no one about, he climbed down, using the back of a pew as his last step, and landed with the quietest of thuds on the dusty floor. He didn't see any other spiders about, but he knew they were there, always around and always dependable. He looked down at himself; he had slept in his clothes, so there was no need to change. He pushed aside the sanctuary doors, pausing to admire the threads of banana-yellow webbing that two of his favorite spiders were so fond of spinning as they guarded the doors. He stepped outside, squinching his eyes painfully at the sun's glare before heading off with his usual slumped, downward facing walk. He decided to try a different part of town today, just in case.

Ellen was a little surprised to see that the teen had stopped but figured it'd be less risky than following him to wherever he was going. As she came nearer, she realized he'd stopped to eat, and also that he knew she was coming. Seeing as she hadn't tried to conceal herself, it wasn't a horrible turn of events. She felt nervous as she approached, and could have died when she touched down on the building. Radiating uncomfortability, Ellen rubbed her left arm and looked down, sending him a mental message. Her powers were being very cooperative, and allowed her to send it to him alone.
So you didn't get hurt by those thugs that live in that house? Ellen asked mentally, where are you headed now? She knew it wasn't her place to ask, but her curiosity wouldn't let her rest until she knew. By now it was obvious she was a mutant; her biggest hope was that her powers didn't get too excited from being used so frequently and act up. Over the last week, she had been doing a great job at keeping them under wraps. This was mostly from being endangered while using them, but she was starting to be able to use them in normal situations without blowing something up or throwing something around.

"Sure you arn't", Albel remarked wittily.
Finishing his stretches Albel started to make his way to the door, noting the clone in the corner drinking what appeared to be orange juice. "Later Lizz, I'm going for a jog if anyone asks, be back in a few..."
He made his way to the doorway and started walking down the hallway to the front door. Pausing for a second his lips curved with a smile before continuing down the hallway. He called out to X-23, "HEY CLONE, DON'T DRINK THE ORANGE JUICE, AFTER I POURED MY GLASS I PUT SOME LAXATIVES IN IT". After finishing this statement he had the front door opened and with great haste he closed the door and started his jog.

X-23 rolled her eyes and yelled after him, "I'd have smelled anything out of place!!! And don't call me CLONE!!!!"
Then she plunked her now empty glass on the counter and sat down at the table. The one called Alble had amused her, for he wasn't afraid to test the new girl. However, judging by his hasty retreat, he'd expected a shorter temper from her. What he didn't know, was that she thought that chasing him would be a waste of time. For you see if he had done something, all she would have had to do was wait for him to return home to exact her revenge.

The kitchen door slammed open rather harder than necessary, and a groggy Tobias still in the torn jeans he'd slept in wandered into the room. "Mrrrgh." Apparently he's not a morning person.
He poured himself a cup of coffee and made a face after his first lukewarm sip. The temperature problem was easily rectified after he briefly stirred the liquid with a finger, bringing it to a near-boil.
A familiar loud shrieking immediately preceeded Aarin's rapid appearance next to Albel, jogging backwards to keep up with the other mutant. God alone knew where he'd been, since he hadn't coming from the direction of the Brotherhood house. "G'mornin', mate. Kind of you to join me for this early morning run." Aarin grinned widely, but dropped his voice after quickly checking that there wasn't anybody else nearby. "Got a proposition for ya. I'm planning on getting out of this outfit. Miss Blue just rubs me the wrong way... and I don't think I'll be able to resist the urge to hurt that self-important little clone. So I'm splitting. Tobias'll probably come with. So, I want to know... are you in?"

Lizz took a sip and winced as X-23 yelled after Albel. "I'd apologise for Albel but I don't feel like it." She said to X-23. "Good morning by the way." She added raising a cup in a salute. The caffine finally starting to work it's way into her system making her a bit more alert. "Mornin Tobias." She said somewhat pleasantly hey she wasn't exactly a morning person herself so meh.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Sara nodded at Blade. "Oh the usuall." She said thinking. "We've got cereal of several kinds, eggs, toast, and assortment of fruit and the standard bacon and sausages." She said taking another sip of her coffee. "I wonder who else it up?"

Marcus had actually gone to get himself breakfast not having the time or the patience to make something for himself. He pulled in killed the engine on his car and slid out grabbing the coffee and breakfast sandwich he had purchased for himself. On his way in he spotted Aarin and Albel. Albel looked a bit startled indicating that Aarin had surprised him. Aarin himself had a conspirital look about him as his eyes darted here and there. Markus knew Aarin would have no problems spotting him so he gave kind of a smirk and a half salute as he made his way back to the mansion.

David, though he seemed to be able to sleep through almost anything, and had proven it considering all the chaos that seemed to be the norm in the Brotherhood house, also chose this moment to rise from his slumber. Not because of the noise, or the yelling or anything overt like that. No, what had woken him from his sleep was the smell of freshly brewed coffee wafting into his room from downstairs.
He didn't so much down the stairs so much as float down, in much the same manner as one would see in a cartoon, following the scent of the coffee. "Need caffeine..." he mumbled, rubbing his eyes with the back of his hand, as sleeves were not included as part of the pair of shorts that he wore as pajamas. He snagged a mug from inside one of the cupboards, and poured a himself a cup of coffee from the communal pot. He didn't bother putting anything in it, as he preferred it black, at least when he could afford coffee. It would take some getting used to, not having to worry about food being available.
"Caffeine good," he said, a satisfied smile on his face as he took a sip of the coffee. It didn't even matter that it wasn't piping hot anymore, he was just happy to have a mug of the stuff. He felt much more alert and awake now that the stimulant had entered his system. He scratched at the scar on his shoulder briefly, relieving an itch that had been pestering him most of the morning, but that he'd been too tired to scratch until now, and proceeded to greet the others present in the kitchen.
"Morning, Lizz. Morning, Tobias. Morning Jillann. Morning person-from-yesterday-whose-name-I-don't-know," he said, the last greeting aimed at X-23.

Deciding the next best place to look for anyone around here would be the kitchen, Victoria took it upon herself to meander in that direction after leaving the boy's dormitories in her wake. Within a moment, she was at the top of the stairs and after mock-holding onto the rail with her left hand, skittered down without any hesitations. Making another customary left turn, she shuffled toward the kitchen, where she made her entrance in the expected fashion.
"Hell-o, all," she said, smiling and giving a cheery waves of her fingers, which made for an interesting contrast to the many zombie-like faces currently occupying the kitchen. Silently crossing to the refrigerator, Victoria both relieved and surprised to see that it had ben repaired or replaced since the day before. Without another moments hesitation, she pulled the door open and peered in, debating on what she wanted to eat at this moment in time.
====
And...on the Brotherhood side of the equation, everyone's favorite, Lance Alver's was shuffling into the kitchen, but his mood was far from cheery. After getting in pretty late last night, the usual sounds of the Brotherhood home made it nearly impossible for him to sleep. Yelling back death threats yielded no effect. If anything, the chaos only increased in volume in retaliation.
Yawning heavily as he silently crossed to the fridge, he willing his eyes open just long enough to grab the handle with one hand and pull it open. Flinching at the sudden brightness that shone cheerfully at him, he swore under his breath before peaking in, wondering what, if anything there was to eat in here.

"Morning David." She said blinking at him as he shambled in. "There should be enough left over for another cup or two." She said when he mentioned needing coffee. She looked up as Lance had entered the kitchen. Lance was cranky last night having threatened the group with a slow and painful death if they didn't shut up. Lizz would have helped him kill the lot. "There's one last cup of coffee in the pot. It's yours if you so desire." She said and drained her cup. "Otherwise I'll take it and make a second pot." She added.
----------------------------------------------------------
Sara blinked at Victoria. "Good mornin." She drawled to her with a wave. "There's eggs, bacon, sausages, fixins for pancakes...or I can make you an omlet..." She said having been pondering breakfast long enough. "A real omlet...not that sissy stuff they serve ya in the resaurants..."

"Ooh," said Victoria mentally drooling from within the fridge as Sara rattled off a list of classic, yet well-loved breakfast items. To be perfectly honest with herself, everything sounded especially good, but the Southern Belle's offer to make omelette just sounded to good to resist.
"An omelet sounds good, Sara," the young mutant confirmed, straightening up and pulling the egg carton out of the fridge as she went and closing the door behind her. "If you make an omelet as good as you boast," she continued. "Then I'll owe you one."
===
His head still peering hopefully into the fridge, Lance had almost dozed off again when a female voice, Lizz to be exact, graced his ears with the mention of there being a cup of coffee left with his name on it. "Coffee?" he repeated with a decent sized yawn as he straightened up and tapped the fridge door closed. In his early morning stupor, he underestimated and the door only closed half-way but he was too exhausted to care or notice. Shuffling past Lizz, he mumbled a quick 'thanks' as he pulled a clean mug from out of the cabin and started for the coffee pot. Spinning the mug around once on his forefinger, he set in on the counter and drained the last bit of coffee into it before taking a swig. He grimaced almost immediately, but swallow anyhow. It was bitter as hell, but he would tough it out if it meant returning to the land of the living.
