"Merda!" Elli swore under her breath, as he slipped past her grip, taking the quaffle with him. She narrowed her eyes and shot forward again, reaching out her hands, trying to snatch the quaffle before he reached the goals again. She would not let Gryffindor lose this game. She wouldn't!

Elli easily dodged the first year coming up on her. She smirked at him and sped up her broom. "You're gonna have to try harder than that my little snake." She called playfully. Even in a crappy mood from the freezing cold rain, she could still have a little playful banter on the Quidditch Pitch.

Phew! That bludger he’d been aiming for had decided to bounce several feet higher than it should have been, and he did all he could to duck and avoid it as it slammed over his head, he could feel the wind still rippling from the might of the bludger even in these strong winds. He shook his head as he tried to refocus himself and immediately set himself on defense again, hovering and circling around his chasers to keep the beaters wary, and it seemed to work, because there was hardly any offensive movement from the beaters. Suddenly, he quaffle was stolen and one of the McHalen sisters darted down the field, before he’d even been able to spot a bludger, she’d scored and all he could do was growl under his throat. Hopefully, she’d still be too distracted to notice the bludger that Dominic lined up straight for Elli.

Annabelle skimmed the gray clouds as she was thrown about with the heavy winds, but at least the rain had stopped, she reminded herself, and for that, she was thankful. All the same, she could feel her hair and robes clinging to her flesh, distracting her and weighing her down as she plummeted through the skies on her vigil. She sought only the little golden ball, just one little blasted thing, but it was like trying to catch the clouds in the sky, or bottle up the sun for everyone to see.
Still, she widened her vision and lowered herself several meters to get a bit closer to the game, perhaps wondering if the snitch was darting past any of the players as they hurled from one end to the next mercilessly. And then, like magic, it lingered several inches from her face as it sped off towards the stands, hovering inches away from the flagged towers that outlined the field.

Elli laughed as her shot went in again. She cheered silently to herself, and spun around to chase after Edajin and steal it back to shoot again, when bam, a bludger slammed into her hip, almost knocking her sideways off the broom. She clung tightly to her Firebolt 2 and whimpered, because god damn it bludgers hurt. She turned her glare on Dominic, and rubbed her hip. In the torrential downpour she couldn't tell if her hip was bleeding or just bruised, and she was shivering so bad, that she couldn't even tell how badly she was hurt. She just knew it hurt. She growled, fighting off the pain, and zoomed after Edajin. Ignorning the pain rippling through her hip, and the shivers running through her body, Elli pushed soaked red hair from her face and reached for the quaffle.
