***Not a contest entry.
Sorry that I've been MIA for so long everyone. The whole summer had been crazy in and out of the hospital myself. Then five weeks ago my Grandpa was checked in. He passed away two days ago, my mother left she's been gone.
Things are just really tough right now, and I apologize that I haven't gotten on...like at all.
I will be back soon hopefully, but with school starting and me still medically unstable I'm really not sure when I'll find the time.
I want you all to know I didn't forget about you, and I am sorry that I haven't been around.

Post #17 - Ravenclaw Welcome new First Year to the Haven For Harry Potter Fanatics! You know, not very long ago I was where you are now, waiting to be sorted, a bit nervous at this large guild before me, but things have turned out wonderfully for me, and I'm sure they will for you as well! My number one piece of advice to your sucess at The Haven is: Don't be shy!Unlike in the biased context of the Harry Potter Movies, all four of our houses here are quite honorable. Hufflepuffs win contests. Slytherins make excellent points. Gryffindor doesn't always win everything... excuse my scrawling writing, as I had to stifle a snicker. You see, I'm a second year in Ravenclaw House. You can post in your Common Room to make friends. If you love information, we have stickied threads that are databases of good-to-know information, be it links or HP Music Videos on Youtube. If you have a little bit of a competitive edge to you, you can try the Dueling Club. (It may sound scary, and I think I've about had my socks magicked off of me in my Practice Duel with the Dueling Club Captiain.) It is all in good fun and is mostly a dice game that comes to life with descriptive roleplaying. If you're here for the fun, there are also many user created games. So no matter what your personality, where you get sorted, as long as you do participate and do what feels right and comfortable to you (I have no photshop 'skillz to save my life, so I forego those contests ^^), you will be moving up in the years in no time. Enjoy your stay, feel free to say "Hi" to me in the Great Hall (or even better, in the Ravenclaw common room wink ), and I'll gladly accept owls (PMs) if you have a small question and don't feel like bugging the Prefects or Heads of Houses. Today I screamed: 'Hi', in the Great Hall.
But really, I scream when I dropped my phone on the side walk and thought for sure it had broken and for some reason I screamed 'GOOD GOD GREEN SOFA!' After I picked up my phone and it was okay, I realized that I had scream Sofa's name. So congratz Sofa you got me to scream your name. xd

accio funds told me next time i poped in to stop in here to chat so here i am. ^^ te he.
katie's doing really well. she's 4 now isn't that hard to believe
and i find out tomorow if katie will be a big sister. te he.
if that's the case i will have plenty of time to get online cause i am not allowed to work while i'm pregnant seeing as it will be a high risk pregnancy.

well Enola Malfoy is my character for my fanfics i've been writting for years
she starts out as Enola Snape and gets married to Draco. ^^ te he i know i'm a bad girl. maybe i should have my house's switched and be put in slytherin with my hubby but i think Not Enola is in Gryffindor so that shall work.

I hope that everyone has good classes this term. I can already tell that my physics 2 class is going to be the most boring and challenging, and that learning to teach special education will be the most useful. 3nodding It'll probably be the most fun too since I like the professor's teaching style. whee
I think I've mentioned before that I'm at university learning to be a teacher? question Well, in case I haven't, now you know! xd
Today, I gave Slytherin and Gryffindor House Points for discussion topics that were made in the main forum, but none for Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff, so get out there and post some wizarding issues for us to talk about! razz

I remember when I was sorted into Hufflepuff. The Sorting Hat had quite a challenge with me. According to it I was, ' Brash and bold enough to fit in Gryffindor quite easily. Yes what feats you could achieve, but yet you have the cunning, and the want to be great which would make Slytherin a wise choice, but yet again with a head so full you could be counted as Ravenclaw... ah but what is this, a want to help those who no matter who they are, with kindness abound, and with loyalty in a great heart. Well then certainly you are quite kind but tough enough to be' "HUFFLEPUFF!"

I remember my first day at Hogwarts, the day I was sorted into Hufflepuff. I kept in my mind the whole time that I did not want to be in Slytherin : "Hmmm.. Tough one," The sorting hat began. "You have many qualities that would make you great in Slytherin. Buut, your kindness and care for others are shining through. Definitely... HUFFLEPUFF!"{Ugh, sorry, just realized mine is very similar to Katies.. Hah.. Sorry. -.- }

You don't need to know what it actually said, you just have to make it up yourself. You can even just make a post that says, "GRYFFINDOR!" or whatever house you're in. It gets your house points just for entering, just use your imagination on what the hat would've said to you. smile
