I can't remember whether or not I've already posted in this, So I'm going to post what may be again : P
I've played the flute for 3 years, and picc for 1 year, and I'm in love with my flute ^_^

I like speaking out of my flute. It's hard to understand what's being said sometimes. It's so light, that's what I enjoy most about the flute, it's weight. My sax is so large and heavy comparitively

i've played Flute and Piccolo for. . . *counts* 5 years. ^_^
i want to learn to play the Bass flute. they're so pritty. (although, that name is kind of an oxymoron if you think about it....bassflute...) confused

(although, that name is kind of an oxymoron if you think about it.... bassflute...) confused It's not an oxymoron. I mean, the definition of flute isn't "not a bass instrument". I'm really good at bass flute, even though I don't really like playing it.

So I got my music for Districts today (i'm principal chair), and it's really boring.
The All State music better not be boring as well (i'm also principal chair in All State).

Guys are sweet flewt players! biggrin yes, they can be. i had a guy friend who played the flute and was my main competition for chairs in the flute section. twas fun, till we went to different schools, now i just teach fishies how to be as.. .. decent..?... let's just say that.

HI, I just joined. I'm Lucy and yes, I do play the flute. Also piccilo, piano, guitar, and drums sporadically. I just want to say that my band teacher rocks.

Plus, when you're second best only to a girl that's taken flute for 7 years(I've taken it for...3) in your school, you know you're pretty flipping good. biggrin
