Jillann continued to be a little absentminded. It usually happened if no one chatted with her, she’d go into her own little world. She got brought out of her little world when her foot meet the rock that was the perfect size for tripping. "Ahhhh!" Jillann said she when tripped. She got up and dusted her self off; she just hoped no one was looking. Then again she didn't care she tripped a lot. She just wondered what the new girl thought. She was bad at breaking the ice.

Having gotten home at a moderate hour last night and after bringing in and stashing all the grocery's Conner had paid for, Victoria took his suggestion (which was a feat in it's self) and stayed at the X-Mansion for the rest of the night. Occupying some her time by scoping out the place some more and the rest by watching all 500+ TV Channels, the evening finished up rather quickly. It was lucky for her time passed like this, because ever since she had dropped Conner off near the Brotherhood mansion, she had been curious as to what he had come up with. She had trudged up to her dorm and slumped into bed when it was convenient and could not be sure if he had even made it back to the X-Mansion yet. Skip to the next morning...

"Hell-o!?"

The voice, floating down the hallway in the wee hours of the morning belonged to no one other then Victoria as she rapped on one of the student dorm doors with her knuckles. Fully dressed and wide awake, curiosity got the better of her again and she just had to pursue it, which was why she was knocking loudly on what she thought was Conner's dorm room. There was not exactly a map posted on the wall, but through process of elimination and careful detective work, she had narrowed it down this door belonging to either Conner or Morgan. If she was wrong or right but Conner simple was not home/awake yet, she back off with no problems and simply find someone else to annoy this morning....

Albel had the usual sleepless night; Late to bed, early to rise. Insomnia will be the death of me one of these days., he thought while coming out of his room. He had on a pair of black running shorts, as well as a white T-shirt. A Walkman could be seen in his left hand, as well as a pair of white tennis shoes on his feet.

Albel heads down to the kitchen noticing the fact someone else was up at this god forsaken hour. Ignoring the slouched teen, and resisting the temptation of taking the coffee, he grabs a glass of orange juice. While chugging down the o.j. he ploped down in an empty chair, getting ready for his early jog.

"Wuzzuh?" Morgan mumbled as he heard the tapping on the door. Unlike several of the other denizens of the mansions, he'd actually been sound asleep and having a rather odd dream involving a nuclear power plant and a seven-foot-long Doberman.

He would have stayed sleeping too, had Victoria not decided to go find someone to bother. He grumbled to himself as he rolled out of bed, and stumbled over to his dresser to find a pair of shorts. After withdrawing a pair from one of the drawers and slipping it on, he walked over to the door, and opened it a crack, seeing Victoria standing outside.

He blinked a couple of times, and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. "Victoria? It's four in the morning, what you doing?" he asked, obviously still half asleep.

Blade opened her eyes, awake. The runaway bit her lip as she remembered that she was going to stay her for a bit and try and control her powers. She had even managed to go back to the park and get her clothes. Any questions as to why she was in a park she had skillfully avoided. The last thing she needed was her parents coming before she could control her ability.

Sitting up, Blade looked around the small, empty room.
"Might as well meet the others." Quickly changing, Blade headed downstairs and smiled when she entered the kitchen. She remembered the way from Sara last night and someone else. "Hi Sara."

"It's not four in the morning," challenged Victoria, moderately surprised to see the door open, revealing no more then a few inches of the opener, which just so happened to be Morgan. A bit bothered that she had been wrong in her guessing, she smiled lightly and assumed an even disposition anyway. Guessing that she had probably woken the male up from what was a pleasant night's sleep, she saw no need for rudeness on her part.

"But as for what I'm doing," she continued, figuring she'd answer his question even if he was too tired to comprehend. "I was knocking on what I thought was Conner's door 'cause I haven't seen him yet this morning and I've got a question or two to ask him."

From here, the young mutant had originally planned on leaving it at that and trying another door when something concerning Morgan occurred to her."But, enough about me," she said, her voice fading into a 'caring' tone as she paused to look carefully at Morgan. "How are you doing? Did you get that thing from yesterday taken care of?"

Sara looked up as the coffee stopped perking. Getting up she poured herself a cup and set the pot back onto the hot plate so it would keep warm. She thought she heard some one calling out upstairs so she was lucky to be getting her coffee before the early morning...or late morning early afternoon crowd came in. She looked up ar Blade. "Goooooooooood mornin Blade." She said in a bright, wide awake tone of voice.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lizz looked up at Albel as he helped himself to a glass of Orange juice. She looked over at the coffee pot and sighed releaved to see it was done brewing. She poured herself a cup and shoved the pot back onto the hot plate. She added her sugar and milk and took that first scalding hot sip. "Morning." She said before watching him chug the O.J. and wishing she could do that with her coffee.

"Thing? You mean-?" he paused, wondering at first what she was talking about, but then realizing she must have meant the black goo that had attached itself to him roughly a day earlier.

"No, not yet. I was going to go when I woke up, which was originally going to be later, but since you decided to be my alarm clock this morning, I guess I'll head down now. McCoy's usually up and about by now, I think," he said, scratching his head. He rubbed his eyes once more, and covered a yawn. His brain had finally started to boot up, so he was able to form slightly more complex sentences. Also, he no longer sounded like he'd lost his voice, as some people tended to sound like when they just woke up.

Conner blinked amd flexed his fingers. While he found it easy to relax in strange and unusual places a tree was way down on his list of prefered resting spots.
After a familiar voice had entered his head he had debated with himself about wether he should leave but quickly decided against it. He had stayed and began sketching the basic layout of the grounds and then observed the Brotherhood's return from destinations unknown. He then started placing one word descriptions against the 'W' marks he used for the buildngs windows.
He stayed until dawn to mark the times each individual went to bed and then stayed further to mark thier wake up times. He couldn't garauntee that the times were schedualed, average or even exceptions but they were a start. He stood up on the thick branch that had been his observation post and quietly traversed the trees back to the house he'd first climbed the night before. He waited until he was on the apex of the roof once more before he stretched his knotted muscles. Conner turned on the spot to get his bearings then crouched down on the tiles and gathered himself. He pushed off from the roof and jumped the next row of houses and landed on a house in the next street.A couple more leaps like that and I'll be back in town, it'll be a piece of cake to get to the mansion from there. he thought and jumped to the next row of houses.

"ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...that's go-o-o-ood juice", Albel said extending the sated victory sound out as long as he could.

Stretching his arms Albel said with slightly more enthusiasm then usual, "Mornin' Lizz". Glancing over at her coffee he jested, "Want some coffee with that sugar?" Without waiting for a response he started to stretch his legs.

"So . . . what's there to eat around here?" Blade asked Sara. Though Blade had not had anything yet, she was wide away. It was something she had learned to do while she was young. Even more so when she ran away.

Ellen had left earlier than the boy she'd met, afraid that she'd be discovered and injured by the Brotherhood's members. She rushed back over to her house, glad to see the convertible had already left. It only took a few minutes for her to get into her house and up to her bedroom. Her parents didn't seem to mind that she hadn't come over to them; she'd been busy at work for the last couple ofdays and had usually gone straight to bed. However, she spent most of the night keeping an eye on the Brotherhood house with her telescope, somewhat ashamed that she was spying on them. She kept her little watch for a few hours before she fell asleep at her window-sill, arm draped over her looking glass.

Ellen woke up with a start after someone jumped on her roof. It was a light sound, but enough for her to notice. She was a very light sleeper, which was both annoying and somewhat useful. Carefully, she leaned out of her window, just in time to see the boy from the Mega-Mart jumping from roof to roof. This time her curiosity truly got the better of her, and she decided to follow him. After posting a quick note on her door, she moved toward the window, praying that her powers would work. Once she was stooping in the window sill, she took a literal leap of faith, willing herself to fly with her powers. It almost didn't work, but they decided to obey her right before she hit the ground. A silent sigh of relief crossed her face as she followed the teen, flying behind him in the morning light. There was no point in hiding; she'd be easy to spot in the daylight.

A small groan rose from the crumpled heap that was Damon, as he stirred from the comatose-esque state that he had been in for the past fourteen hours or so.

He had no wish to open his eyes, every bit of his sense telling him to go back to sleep. And, given the past few days, he wouldn't be adverse to it. Through subtle movements of his arms, he was able to discern that he was lying facedown on soft material that he could only guess was a bed, though with no recollection of how he got there. He couldn't even remember when he passed out.

But, even though he yearned to just drift back to sleep, he was uncomfortable. Shifting to his side, he felt the weight of his blue jeans clinging to his legs and his shoes were still present on his feet.

'And I thought only alcoholics woke up in this situation.'

Despite the many protests of his body, Damon pushed away from the bed, eyes slowly opening as they readjusted to the light that poured in through the room's window. Everything was a blur in the sleepy haze that covered his vision, Damon resituating himself to a sitting position on the bed. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes, his thoughts reorienting themself to his present situation.

"Ugh..."

Rogue had gone to bed shortly after finding that there wasn't anything on TV. Now however, it was morning and she was just barely beginning to come to. She was at that place between waking and sleeping and was trying to get back to sleep. She didn't exactly have anything to do today, and she felt like sleeping in a bit after all of yesterday's excitement. So with a few muttered bits of nonsense, she rolled over and went back to sleep.

X-23 watched as everyone else came out of the cave, noting that one of the last to exit was the one who'd summoned the weird wolf. She seemed to be off in her own little world, and that was proven true when she tripped on a rock that she should have seen. So far 23 wasn't too impressed with her "teammates", but she figured they might surprise her. "Might" being the key word. Once everyone was outside, she followed them to their transportation, and got in. She stayed silent for the trip, and was a little surprised to find that their base was a big house. Not Xavier's but any means, but big enough. She followed everyone to the part of the house with rooms and took an unoccupied one to sleep in....

The next morning....
X-23 came to all at once, like she had trained herself to do. It had always been one of her handlers favorite things to kick her awake if she slept "too long", so she'd learned not only to wake up at the slightest noise, or crack of dawn, whichever came first, but also to come fully awake from the instant she stopped sleeping. And believe it or not, this little trick had saved her neck more than once.

She was disoreinted for a second at the fact that she was in a bed, but before her mind could start panicking about being back in captivity, she remembered where she was. She got up and did some quick stretches to warm up her muscles, then she pulled her clothes out of her bag and went in search of the shower. As long as she was somewhere that had one, she might as well make use of it.

It was easy enough to find, and unoccupied, so she went in and locked the door behind her. Ten minutes later she left the bathroom feeling much cleaner than she had since she'd left her cousin's. Her long black hair was wet, but brushed, so she didn't really care if it air dried. She was hungry by this point, so she went downstairs to the kitchen to see what she could find.

"Getting that checked out is a good idea," said Victoria honestly, nodding faintly in agreement as Morgan relayed his plans to her. Glancing at him with a slight frown through the crack in the door, she secretly wondered why he had not taken care of this sooner; It was an unidentified, black...thing after all. She opened her mouth slightly as if she was going to inquire, but closed it again and thought better of it. The young mutant hardly wanted to come off as being 'pushy' to someone so early in the morning...

"Guess I'll stop bothering you so you can do that then. Laters." she added with a slight grin as she took a step backward towards the middle of the hall. That said, she turned away from him completely and started down the hall again, the keys to Scott's convertible jingling merrily in her pocket.
