heart cooking is love~

I made a daquiri pie for today with rum in it. It was pretty damn good from the tiny bite I tasted of it. Of course, my family prefered the chocolate velvet pie instead so nobody ate it but! It was good and I am proud of myself =D

Did everyone have a good holiday?

It was awesome mek!

Lots of great food, family and family friends we known so long they are like our extended family. =3

Oh! I also found a whole new way to be whorish with my art collection! XO

My aunt gave me one of those digial picture frame things? Its brilliant! >*4*<

I cropped some of my favorite pieces to put on there, can even set up a slideshow with music! Defiantly a great system for viewing/updating and enjoying my art with ease off the computer without having to print out every single piece.
The one sad thing is line arts dont seem to happy in it, but colored work for the most part looks pretty good, especially if you have a high res image you scaled down.

And my Christmas wasn't too bad. It felt weird though, like it wasn't really christmas or something. Just didn't feel it. Maybe 'cause I'm usually buried in snow and and freezing my toosh off this time of year? NY is way warmer (and rainier) than where I'm from in Canada LoL

It was also my first christmas away from my family. But it was special 'cause it was my first one with my Fiance <3

Mine was pretty good, as well. Limited drama and lots of my brother-in-law singing karaoke equals good times for everyone XD

My birthday was also nicer than expected! My friend took me to the beach and it was awesome and peacefull 3nodding

I love the beach <3 It would be so cool to live by the ocean. I would spend so much time swimming x3

Water in general though, it's just so beautiful and calming <3

I have noticed a huuuuuuuge increase in the number of results google finds (that are not related to me) when I type in Mek/Mekania since I first tried 4ish years ago. I know it probably has nothing to do with me...but I'm taking credit anyway.

It's nice to see Mekania Corp. (my fav. Korean company!) is still going strong.

Does anyone else google their characters out of boredom?

XD; I also DA search my chars out of boredom. Apparently, there's another WIllowren and Bohren is a word in another language, but RIvek only turns up stuff for me and the guy whose unsername is Rivek... and there's apparently a Rivek tied to some Star Wars RP with Google. XD

*guilty* On DA and google, more DA though. It's always cool, to me, to google my character's name on DA and see what other characters by that name look like and what their stories are 3nodding
