Sil's father grew flustered. "I am your father Sil. The paternity tests prove it. But I told you your mother died so it would be less stressful, Her words was "You can have the monster you made me give birth to for all I care." And walked out never returning and vanished walking into the forest to the north part of town. I sent people after her but they lost her in the north woods as if she just vanished into thin air." He said snorting then before he went to go after to try getting her to put that necklace on 'KABOOM!' The door blasted inward the wall behind Sodain as well as a lot of smoke filled the room and the wall behind held a Sodain shpe as the rest of the wall crumbled the tail retracted from the floor and as the smoke cleared Sodain walked right into the room opening his eyes he raised his cannon towards Sil's father as it morphed back into a hand.

Ryo ran into the room once the way was clear enough. Finding Sil he grabbed her close running out of the room with her to safety hugging her.

Sodain looked at the necklace snorting "Fouls of dark crafting, cursing and vexing by Arasi hands. You put that on Sil she loses her free will becoming a puppet to the most corrupted family in this city. I warned you I would return if you did not heed my warning. You said you was having your hand forced by Sil's acting JUST like you did at her age human flamethrower." Sodain said snapping his fingers as a shot of energy hit the necklace the aura showing to all now. "Just look what you almost forced her to wear you fool!" Sodain shouted

Seeing the sickly aura Sil's father threw the necklace shocked looking ready to puke.

Sodain catching it and the aura went wild at the mere touch of Sodain and a flash of like a split second later the aura and necklace shattered into dust. "Losing your powers of flame after getting married was fishy enough and you still wear that ring." Sodain said pointing to it having the same sickly aura before Sodain threw a blast of the same energy light to the ring and it turned to dust just like the necklace had.

Sil's Father blinked swooning a little once it was off him.

"You want to know what would had happened had you forced her to wear that necklace?" Sodain asked grabbing Sil's father by the ear dragging him out of the room the smoke ans dust settling as Sodain walked past the three Arasi men and looked to both Kino and Kala. "You two have fun with those three fiends at your own discretion. I will return after showing something to this stubborn a**! Oh and feel not worry or shame if those three things break. They are not living but machines programed to do the sinister bidding of their masters." he said smirking then vanished with sil's father.

Standing on the scarred dessert of decay that was behind a energy barrier. "Those who wanted Sil wanted to use her powers as they wished. Which would have turned the rest of this green world full of life into a land like that." "Sotain took a small limb off a tree lush and green pushing it into the barrier and it got sucked into the barrier, there was a lot of animal bones around the edge of the barrier as well as human skeletons rapidly aging and decaying. Which would take them several thousands of years to do. the green limb that was sucked into the barrier had the very life and green sucked right out of it crumbling to dust.

This is what happened because of the last time their clan got hold of a strong shadow caster a very long time ago. But there was people able to join up their powers people referred to as gods, high magic users that was in essence immortal due to the sheer power the had prolonging their lives. Many sacrificed themselves to seal the death shadow who a little of his power escaped from being sealed away with not enough people left around to fight them like last time this would be spread through out the entire world if people did not bow down to them. And since it was a backlash there is no controlling this one only containing it to keep it from spreading. And you the stubborn a** you are was helping them reach their goal. If they got hold of Sil this would repeat itself without enough people of god level powers to fight and seal it away again." Sodain sighed showing Sil's father this as a wild horse ran into the barrier tossed into the air crying out being quickly stripped to the bone then dropped as a sickly dark cloud formed around the horse.

Sil's father fell to his knees staring at it shaking looking around. "You brought me here to the forbidden zone. What you plotting to throw me inside and it be the end of me?" He said glaring at Sodain and Sodain sighed growling turning into a dragon growling down at Sil's father. "No if I wanted to just up and end you I would have just had to do this and swallow you kicking and screaming down to my stomach. That would be more fun then making you feel the very tissue ripped off your body. This was from the dark magics of the ancient Arasi house. And they seen it as imperfect because of their hard work being sealed away and this being the effect of that seal as 20 gods could not defeat it they had only one resort which was to seal it but a little of the power escaped upon sealing.

One goddess herself sacrificed her body to create this barrier. you see that lone tree in the heart of this barrier that is still green? That is what is left of the goddess humans named mother nature. She turned herself into a tree fusing with the dark energy inside that sucks the life out of everything even metal its self. Only select few are able to walk into it unharmed. Yet this barrier has grown since the last time I was here. Which proves the tree and its barrier have weakened." Sodain said walking into the barrier his dragon scales tear away but regenerate so quick it does not affect him as he treads slowly towards the tree.

Once reaching the tree sodain hugged the tree glowing. Pouring a lot of his energy into it, the green around the ground slowly surges outward from the tree as the barrier starts shrinking to where the green stopped. The branches of the tree seemed to grow longer pearing odd glowing fruit which a limb moved down shaking a few from it as Sodain fell to his side panting weakening where the regeneration slowed a bit of his scales weakly Sodain ate a few of the fruit glowing and a burst of energy filled him as he stood shakily then walked back out fire burning around him as he broke through the barrier collapsing to the ground turning back into his human form.

Looking to have aged a bit But then crawling away seemed to recover getting younger like he was before that. Collapsing again near Sil's father he shook a bit looking tired and weak clothing appearing on his body. Reaching out grabbing Sil's father by the leg teleporting back into the mansion. "That is what Will happen if you continue down this path." Sodain said then passed out seeming to have fallen asleep.

Asuru manifested from thin air like a ghost looking at Kino. "Sodain took Him to the scarred lands. Showing him what happened long ago from this house wanting Sil meddling in ancient times. A horse ran into the barrier that had expanded larger trying to reach the tree in the center. The lord here witnessed what happened to anything that could not resist the sealed energy in that barrier. Asuru put his hood down looking similar to Kino only with an odd white stripe in his hair.

Sodain informed Sil's father that the Arasi clan wanted to repeat the past. He even puked seeing the way the state of things inside that barrier formed seeming to be generated by that tree where the fruit itself can revive the dead. The tree however grew weakened the reason Sodain is out cold is because he walked up to that tree giving his energy to revive and strengthen it." Asuru said knowing Kino likely recognized him. "More are on the way having lost contact of those robots they sent. It is no longer safe here for them Kino." Asuru added then looked to Sil. "They can not enter the temple. Your father had a ring that was imbued with the same mind control that necklace had on it. Your father was not acting on his own will. If you forgive him and allow him to be safe bring him home my Queen." Asuru said giving fair warning to them to get them away safely if they uprooted and left right away. Asuru bowed to Sil and poofed dissipating into thin air.

After a few minutes Sodain started stirring moving weakly but managed to stand. Looking to Sil's father who now was fully of his own mind who curled into a ball shaking staring fearful of Sodain suddenly leaped to his feet pointing to Sodain. "D...dragon!" he stuttered a bit fire wrapping around his hand as he pointed Sodain sighed looking at a clock then to Sil's father shaking his head a little looking to Sil. "Now it hits him in realization after 30 minutes of seeing my true form. Before we returned here." he said shaking his head in dismay. "He is so thick headed biting a coconut like an apple would easily rip open before the painfully obvious sinks into his head." Sodain smirked staggering a little as a golden apple looking to be made of pure solid gold fell out of Sodain's pocket to the floor before Sodain could grab it which was unlike Sodain. It was clear Sodain was still weakened from recharging the tree.

Sodain looked around and went headed towards the outside slowly as he put the apple into his jacket pocket then slumped against a wall. "We do need to get out of here for Sil's safety, And take everyone she cares about from here putting them someplace safe they can not be used to draw Sil into giving them what they want." Sodain said giving advise.

Ryo nodded nervously and drove there to the temple and Sodain sighed once they was all inside including Kino "That was a nice Car Kino why did you dispose of it like that. I would have liked to study it all the modifications you did to it had to be quite costly." Sodain said then jerking suddenly "Ouch! Damnit Wolgar! err. I mean Corin!" Before he looked really dizzy and fell hitting the floor hard cracking a few stones snoring away as he lay on the cold hard floor. The place looked nice now with the better seating, drapes, A tv and radio area that worked on a special frequency. Over the police scanner there was a radio call a few hours after they arrived about a mansion being assaulted and blown up by the military, The address given was the mansion they was just at.

Asuru appeared again staring at Corin oddly "Now what did you do to him?"

Kalista held a suitcase close to her she grabbed as Kino carried her out of the house like he did. But then Sodain poofed into a log and glared at Corin from behind "I told you next time I would get you if you tried that." Rearing his arm back ready to swing it Corin would have to run away to avoid the swing or just turn into a cloud of energy.

Sodain huffed missing Corin likely glaring at him. "I can't deal with the night terrors I endure when I sleep Corin to force me to sleep is worse than torture of the sickest, meanest most inhumanly cruel possible." Sodain growled and walked to a room that had a ward to keep Corin and other ascended or ghostly people out of it.

Kalista giggled watching it and the looked curiously around investigating the place.

Leesha made an appearance sighing "There are a few but they either are not the same type of shadow user, or the same strength with it as you are Sil. So those out there are basically incompatible with those fiends plan. Asuru informed me what he heard about Arasi's plans. And I did a quick search." She said pondering.

Kalista did hear that and not recognizing Kala snuck up Asuru gave an odd look to Kala as well turning to look back at Kino in a silent observation Asuru yelled "GAH!" jumping back Kalista suddenly appearing face to face with a magnifying glass studying Asuru. Having come up sneaking up on Kino and Asuru.

Sodain in the room there was a lot of sounds of tinkering, clanging of metal tools and other sounds sounding like a mechanics garage or blacksmiths shops or a mix between. The door opened as Sodain popped his head out. "Oh Sil you got a new outfit in your room. Ryo same goes for you." Then Sodain pout a stack of papers in a folder on the door he was behind. "If anyone else wants an outfit just fill out these forms placing it in the other bin on this door." Sodain said jerking his head back dodging a few tranq darts which peppered the door then glared at Corin before ducking back into the room resuming his tinkering.

Ryo said something now. "Well what about those barriers of energy you can manipulate? I would say that's in itself is a sort of power. I mean true it might not be a strong power like what Asuru has or Sil here has. But don't know anyone else able to make such strong barriers of pure energy cast off one's own being. I under your tutelage Kino learned to manipulate my own energy to help calm Sil's powers and her panic states down." Ryo said this pondering,

Kalista oddly wiped her magnifying lens off every time opening that one book showing him a illustrated portrait that looked like Kino with the same scar on his forehead. "Great great grandson. That is how by closely studying the two of you that would be the resemblance is if one of you was the great great grandson of the other." She said oddly then clarified. "That is based on the difference findings of the physical appearances alone between this Arusu and you Kino." She said but then thought a bit nuzzling up to him. "Though if I had genetic samples of him and you then I could compare them to find out if you are like a descendant so far down the line from him." She said purring a little bit trying to be affectionate to Kino to keep him from growing agitated.

Arusu spoke up sighing, "There is a possibility we could be related through the years but barely. Though only if you have a member of the Diyoshi family line in your ancestry tree. My name is Arusu Hinsota Diyoshi. You do how ever share the name of my ancestor. He too was named Kino." Arusu stated flatly in a way but that is all that he said he didn't blurt out though wanted to just by looking at Kino 'Great great grandfather Kino.' Just based on looks. But after a few minutes he spoke up again. "I also am no ghost. I transcended the physical plane as did Leesha over there. And Corin." He said softly and matter of factly.

Kelista reached over grabbing a hair plucking from Asuru's head. "Ouch hey! That hurt!" Asuru said rubbing his head. As She said "Looking at him I seen he was an ascended being not a ghost which just means a person no longer ages and can turn into pure energy but are still solid just like are Kino." Kalista said looking to him purring a bit more. "But Kino if you didn't enjoy my pestiness you would never had married me." She cooed softly resting er head on him sneakily plucking one of kino's hairs and then ran off quickly away from him incase he gave chase. If he would she would giggle holding the two hairs putting them in separate vials and pocket them. Her suitcase knocking over bursting open folding out to a travel test lab table.

Sodain walked out looking cleaned up as he walked to the kitchen to start getting food on to cook. Yet there was sounds of tinkering still going on in the room. So it might be a cloned version of Sodain which would not be fun for Corin to make it go to sleep. Yet if anyone looked which Corin could not even open the door due to the anti Corin barrier on it to look inside. Though if someone else did they would stt tools and thinks just dancing moving on their own making noise to cover up it was really Sodain.

Then Sodain went upstairs with a plant looking like an odd little tree and a speaker on it with a odd contraption. After he got food on cooking. Finding Kala he placed the plant locking it on a sil where sunlight could shine on it. "Ah thank you child. That sun feels nice." Came a females soft voice from the speaker. Sodain looked to Kala. "Mother nature herself I took a sapling with her permission from her main body to communicate with when I fed her my energy." He said softly.

"Kala the melodramatic drama queen is there with you child?" The voice sounding like what came from the young girl only a bit older. And less enthusiastic.

Ryo laughed a little. "Well it is strange to see but even he should be allowed some emotion expression at times Sil." Ryo said kindly having a point.

Sodain raised a brow at them. "Oh? Tell me more of this guy? What was the mark like?" Sodain said curiously now wanting to know more about him now.

"Yes they are here mother nature. Though there is an odd occurrence this girl Sil when she reacts with strong emotion they link feeling what she feels as well as can see through her eyes and hear things. The same happens when both show strong emotion the link shows Sil what they are feeling. And if one in this link moment would die the other linked to the one who is killed might die as well. Which concerns me a bit. I want to fix this problem so I have Kala and Kalia under my watch but I don't know what to do.

Yet had an idea if I used the stored genetic material I saved of them if I made a new body to put one of them into it to separate them that it might fix it momentarily. But it was a right away thought how to keep the link from starting because I am sure if they are making love or giving birth they would not want someone else eavesdropping on them." Sodain said pitching his idea to mother nature who just said "troubling indeed..." then fell silent as if contemplating things. As mother nature thought about it Sodain looked to Kala and Kalia waiting to hear more of this guy that took them in.

Sodain looked ingraining that mark into his memory and then spoke. "One moment." He said walking to a wall pulling a torch down and a section of wall opened to shelves and got a few things before putting the torch back in place as he walked back. "Tell me if he is in any of these photos." Sodain said showing them on the photos was signs similar to the mark part she showed him. "If he is in any of these or anyone looking close enough to this man you seen." There was a dragon mark in a teardrop shape on one which Sodain stood in a lab coat in that photo not looking pleased in it nor did he look pleased showing them off, He just had to check something.

Kalista's nose twitched a bit as she prepared her lab table to test the two hairs. "Ooh something smells a little off in the kitchen." She said running towards the kitchen and found the pots of normal food cooking away and stirred them. Then when that was all done she returned to the table and proceeded to do various tests pausing once and a while to stir the food. Getting two print outs she blinked looking to Kino then the two results the patterns matched 98%

"Um Kino you might want to look at this." She said showing him talking low she spoke just to him. "This is the test results. According to these tests.... Asuru is your descendant not you his. Meaning he is of your family line after you was born into it a few generation degradation that normally occurs He was born 3 generations about 90-120 years after you was born according to these tests." She said pulling him into a private room.

"So what are you then was that you in the page of the portrait being crowned ruling prince of the shadows. Or what, there is no way these results can be like this unless your not human and have lived over 100,000 years. Which coincidentally here is the carbon dating on your hair." the paper read 102,568 years old. She had a slight concerned look in her eye. "Please this is confusing to me and they should be not like these if you are as old as you claimed when we was married. I won't freak out if you tell me the truth... What are you?" She asked him looking conflicted.
