Dorothy walked in to the mess hall and looked around. She didn't see anyone, Where did everyone go? I know it's not that late past dinner time.

((Alright, for those who haven't been keeping up with our OOC threads, I'm going to go ahead and time skip to the day of the funeral. After the funeral, the headmasters will shut down the school for the rest of term, and it'll be over for HoB in SDRP. Then we'll restart from day one in the guild. I'm not sure how a funeral goes, I've only been to one in my whole life, and I was too busy crying to pay attention. >_> So we'll kinda wing it, I guess.))
Garreth strode down to the grave site, holding Karaviv's Urn. He set it next to the photo of the woman that rested on top of her coffin, which was draped with the country of Konalter's flag. One one side, a row of twelve men in uniform, all with their hands on the hilts of their swords. On the other side, the students and staff, dressed in black, each holding a single white flower. Garreth took his place next to Horatus as the procession began.

Standing at the side with the other teachers he opened up a black rectangular case and took out his red violin. Placing the instrument on his shoulder and his chin resting on it he took out the bow and started to play the Konalter death march. It was sorrowful and solemn. He played as he followed the procession.

Rain's bright blue stared at the picture for a moment. She couldn't help but cry silent tears at funerals. She lifted her blue tinted ocarina to her pale lips and blew softly into, she played softly with Akakage's violin. Closing her eyes she felt like the air was suffocating due to all the sadness. She too followed the procession.

Varnis had looked up when he had heard the music. Stood up, then walked over to them, he stood up, then started to walk to the funeral. He got to the door, and slowly opened it, bowing his head, he walked over to where the rest of the students where, then looked up at the teachers.

Naomi looked over at Rain and Akakage while they played beautiful music together. She followed Varnis into the church ready for the funeral to begain. As she sat down at the pew she noticed that she was crying. Her face was covered in purple tears spilling from her dark purple eyes. She tried to wipe them away, but she couldn't stop crying.

When the cue struck, Garreth stepped forward, placing his flower on Karaviv's coffin. Facing the students, he spoke.
"Karaviv Silvius was not just a colleague of mine. She was a friend. We met in the military, and came here to teach together when the Civil War ended." he paused, and stared at the ground for a moment. "She's done great things for this school. After her promotion to Headmistress, she's the one who got most of our weapons donated, she's the reason we have the stable. She has really.. done so much. And in her honor, we will be shutting down the House of Bricks for the rest of term to mourn her leaving." he said. He stepped back to his place as the twelve military men unsheathed their swords and held them high over Karaviv's coffin, and now students were allowed to step forward one by one to place their flower on her coffin and pay their respects.

Watching as the students placed their flower's on the coffin he continued to play but the song changed to a more saddening melody. Looking at Rain he nodded towards her so that she can place her flower on the coffin. As he played and as the students and teachers went to the coffin it started to rain. Rain that always came during an event of this magnitude.
You better be at peace, mistress of house of bricks school. Thank you for not being as hard as the other two old men.

Varnis had stood up, and walked towards the coffin. He knelt down besides it. He mumbled a few words of prayer. Kneeling there for a little while longer still mumbling a few things, and tears had started to form around his eyes. He placed the rose down on top of the coffin, then stood up. Varnis headed towards the pue, then sat down once he got there, and just looked up at everyone else as they did their last respects.

Rain slowly lowered the ocarina away from her mouth and clutched it in her left hand, the white flower in her right. She walked up to the coffin and stared at it a moment. "I didn't know you that well... but you will certainly be missed..." Her musical voices was hushed as she placed the single white flower on the coffin. Slowly she stepped away and resumed playing with Akakage while watching the others leave flowers on the coffin.

Namen now stood infront of the coffin. She placed her flower on the pile of the others, smiling as she stared down blindly. "I'm sure you would've been a great teacher to me. Grandfather sends his respects as well." she said, then stepped back to her seat.

Naomi walked up to Karaviv's coffin and took out her rose. She held her hand over the rose and letting enough ice to color the rose a light blue, but not to freeze it. She placed gently on the coffin and sat down beside Varnis

Dorothy stood and walked slowly to the coffin. She stared at it for a moment, and laid her flower onto the coffin. "I managed to miss or be late to all your classes, but some how I can feel inside that you have taught me a lot. Weather that teaching be now or later." She bowed her head and walked back to her seat.

Garreth stood again as one by one the students paid their respects. As soon as the last one had done so, he now permitted staff to go forward and say their final words.
